Discription:
TL-R480T provides a cost-effective solution for the small and
medium business and Internet cafe. Connecting the router with
your ISP allows all computers in your office to share the Internet at
simultaneously. QoS settings optimize network resource bandwidth and simultaneous sessions can be limited depending on
preference and P2P software is easier than ever before. These
routers also feature intensive security with MAC and IP address
blinding making ARP assaults nearly impossible.
IP and Port Based QoS
Quality of service is the ability to provide different priority to
different applications, users, or data flows, or to guarantee a
certain level of performance to a data flow. Quality of service
guarantees are important if the network capacity is insufficient,
especially for real-time streaming multimedia applications such
as voice over IP and IP-TV. TL-R480T supports IP and port based
QoS, it enables your streaming multimedia, video teleconferencing, gaming etc. with high performance.
IP and MAC Address binding efficiently avoids network attack
IP and MAC Address binding ensure that only those computers
that pass verification using both the correct IP and MAC address
can access the network thereby limiting the ability of hostile
entities to attack the network. It protects your network from ARP
attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks and IP spoofing.
Strong firewall forcefully prevents attacks from intruders and
viruses
TL-R480T provides strong attack and defense function and
supports internal and external attack precaution. It is especially
effective in the prevention of DoS Attacks----ICMP Flood, UDP
Flood, SYN Flood, Ping of Death, WinNuke, Land Attack etc. and
guarantees long and stable operation for Internet cafes/SMB
(Small and Medium Business).
WAN interface online detecting and testing
WAN interface online detecting and testing is to inspect the
connectivity of lines through PING detecting or DNS request, and
it is of great help for administrators to check and rule out the
barriers and mistakes. Online detecting checks the responding
speed of WAN port of router through ICMP, TCP and UDP. It keeps
updated as to the working state and lines of the router and is
helpful for remote management and maintenance of equipment.
