Digital Multimeters perform standard electrical tests in DC and
AC circuits –including frequency, cycle frequency and wave
amplitude– and take digital readings of voltage, amperage, and
resistance of systems, components, and conductors. They are
simply better and easier to read, handle and adjust than Analog
Multimeters. They are designed to help service A/C, heating
and cooling systems, electric equipment, appliances, computer
equipment, electric motors, electrical, and electronic devices, and
computers in general.
Automotive digital multimeters are very efficient tools used to
diagnose most problems in today's sophisticated automotive
electronic systems. Their solid construction allows them to be used
in the rough and high-paced environments of auto shops. Great
for diagnosis on all makes, models, and types of vehicles. View
readings from RPM activity cycles, DC and AC volts, resistance,
frequency, pulse duration, dwell and min-max endpoints in an
easy to navigate system.
Clamp-on Digital Multimeters are designed to allow the user to
measure current in AC/DC and high power circuits, outputs and
derivations in transformers, capacitors, rectifiers, transmission
lines, substations conductors, etc., where a conventional device
cannot be used. They also measure current, resistance, amperage,
voltage, conductivity, power factor, AC frequency, among other
things without interrupting the connections and energy in the
circuit. Thanks to their resistant build they are sufficiently strong
to endure the exacting requirements in the transmission and
generation of electricity.
