Troubleshooting
Followings are not problems
Sound of water flowing is not a problem.
During unit operation or at stop, a swishing or gurgling noise may be heard.
This noise is generated by refrigerant flowing in the system.
Sound of cracking is heard.
During unit operation, a cracking noise may be heard.
This noise is generated by the casing expanding or shrinking because of
temperature changes.
Smell are generated.
This is because the system circulates smells from the interior air such as
the smell of cigarettes or the painting on the furniture.
During operation, white fog or steam
comes out from the indoor unit.
When unit is running at places like restaurant, etc. where dense edible oil
fumes always exist, this will happen.
In cooling operation, unit switches to
blowing operation.
To prevent frost from accumulating on indoor heat exchanger, unit will switch
to blowing operation for a while then resume cooling operation.
Unit will not restart after stop.
Though ON/OFF button is set to ON, the unit won't
resume cooling, dry or heating operation in 3 min
after it is stopped, this is because of
3-min-delay protection circuit.
Won't start?
Please wait 3 minutes
No outlet air or fan speed can't be changed
in dry mode.
Unit will reduce fan speed repeatedly and automatically if room temp. is
too low in dry operation.
In heating operation, water or steam
are blown out of outdoor unit.
This occurs when frost accumulated on the outdoor unit is removed.
(during defrosting operation)
In heating operation, indoor fan won't stop
even if unit is stopped.
After unit stop, indoor fan will go on running until indoor unit cools down.
Before ask for services, please first check your unit against the following.
Air conditioner won't start.
Is power supply switch turned on?

(4) Air discharging method
After finishing connection of refrigerant pipe, it shall perform air tightness test.
The air tightness test adopts nitrogen tank to give pressure according to the pipe connection mode as the following figure shown.
The gas and liquid valve are all in close state. In order to prevent the nitrogen entering the circulation system of outdoor unit,
tighten the valve rod before giving pressure (both gas and liquid valve rods).

Checking the leaking point
In the first to third test steps, if the pressure drops, check the leakage in each joint use sense of hearing, feeling and
soap water, etc. methods to find the leaking point.
After confirming the leaking point, welding it again or tighten the nut tightly again.
(5) Piping and indoor unit vacuumizing
Use vacuum pump to perform vacuumizing. It is strictly forbidden to use the refrigerant to remove the air inside the
system.
Low pressure peizometer
After air tightness test and discharging all the nitrogen,
High pressure peizometer
connect the vacuum pump as

3-way valve totally closed (Liquid side) (YIFFYC018BAEFA)
2-way valve totally closed (Liquid side) (YIFFYC012BAEFA)
It shall use the vacuum pump of (lower than -14.6PSI)high vacuum degree and large air discharging (over 40l/min).
The vacuumizing time depends on the length of the connecting pipe, generally is 1~2 hours.
When vacuumizing, it shall be confirmed both gas and liquid side valves are closed.
If after 2 hours vacuumizing, it cannot reach the vacuum degree below -14.6PSI, it can be vacuumized for other 1 hour.
If after 3 hours vacuumizing, it still cannot reach the vacuum degree below -14.6PSI, check if there is any leaking point
and repair the them.
If after over 2 hours vacuumizing, the vacuum degree is below -14.6PSI, close the VL and VH on the meter separator
and stop vacuumizing. 1 hour later to confirm if the vacuum degree changes. If changes, it indicates there is leaking
point in the system. Check the leaking point and repair.
After finishing the above vacuumizing, change the vacuum pump into refrigerant pump to charge the refrigerant.
(6) Charging amount of refrigerant
When the total length (L) of the two units' connecting pipe is less than 7.5m, it is unnecessary to charge additional
refrigerant.
If the connecting pipe (L) exceeds 7.5m, it shall charge Mg additional refrigerant per meter.
That is: Refrigerant charging amount = (L-7.5) x 50 (g)
Only in COOLING operation can charge the additional refrigerant.
When charging, the refrigerant shall be charged from the charging nozzle of low pressure vavle.
Be carefull when charging refrigerant, do not let the air mix into the system, and must charge the additional refrigerant in
liquid condition.
