The BEC 8700AXL is an all-in-one Dual-Band Wireless ADSL/VDSL Router – featuring a
triple-WAN service including a VDSL2, backward compatible with ADSL2+, 3G/4G LTE
and Ethernet WAN, Gigabit LAN interface, 802.11ac, QoS, Security and robust firewall
security.
The 8700AXL delivers ultra-reliable triple-play services via broadband connectivity to any
other Ethernet broadband device, ADSL2+ / VDSL2 / FTTH / Cable modems with data rates
reaching up to 1Gbps. The 8700AXL delivers reliable, secure and easy to manage network
through the robust firewall help to enforce security policies to restrict network activities
from preventing outsider attacks, Virtual LANs configurable rules to support various network
services on different LAN segments, Quality of Service (QoS) optimizes network traffic and
bandwidth utilization, and provides management tools such as SNR adjustment, traffic
monitoring, system log, remote-access management, etc. through a user-friendly, intuitive,
web-based GUI. Users can easily enjoy high bandwidth services such as High Dentition IPTV,
streaming video, interactive gaming, over-the-top (OTT) applications to multiple devices
throughout the home.
Flexible Deployment Options
BEC 8700AXL offers multiple WAN connection options such as ADSL2+ / VDSL2 / FTTH / Cable /
Cellular LTE from wired to wireless connectivity. Service Providers can benefit from flexible
development options, offering a wide range of service package for subscribers, reducing truck roll
when subscribes upgrading package plan providing possible lifespan for the investment all in one
unit.
Pathway to the Future
IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6), launched as the current IPv4 is getting filled up, gradually
becomes the indispensible addressing system for the savvy cloud computing users. Equipped with
IPV6, the 8920AX eagerly provides users a better working environment to work with, a shortcut
to upgrade and a more efficient solution to save budget. For the customers during this transition
period, dual stack (IPv4 and IPv6) feature enables the hosts a convenient way to reserve both
address to smooth over this coexistent period.
Quality of Service
Quality of Service (QoS) gives users’ full control over outgoing data traffic. Priority can be
assigned by the router to ensure that important transmissions like gaming packets, VoIP calls or
IPTV/streaming content passes through the gateway is also controlled to ensure that users do not
saturate bandwidth with their browsing activities.
Dual Wi-Fi with Maximum Performance and Coverage
With the next wireless generation, 802.11ac, the gateway is equipped with concurrent dual-band
Wi-Fi technology and delivers fast wireless speeds of up to1600Mbps, up to 300Mbps in 2.4GHz &
1300Mbps in 5GHz frequency ranges. The Wireless Protected Access (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) and
Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) features enhance the level of transmission security and
access control over Wireless LAN. The router also supports the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless home network. If the user’s network
requires wider coverage, the built-in Wireless Distribution System (WDS) repeater function
expands the wireless network without needing any external wires or cables.
