To avoid the impact of humidity, after installing the device, power on the device for at least half an hour before sealing the cover.
3.2 Installation Mode
The IR Indoor Mini Dome Network Camera can be installed in ceiling mounting or side wall mounting mode. In general, it is used in an indoor or building environment,
but can also be used in an outdoor environment. Figure 3-1 shows the ceiling mounting
mode. The side wall mounting mode is similar to the ceiling mounting mode.
NOTE
To achieve a good angle of view, you are advised to install the device in the place whose vertical distance from the ground is about 3 m to 6 m.
Figure 3-1 Ceiling mounting mode
The ceiling mounting procedure is as follows:
Step 1 Unfasten the two torx screws on the cover of the mini dome by using the T15 combination wrench in the accessory package and open the cover upward, as shown in
Open the cover gently and pull out the MIC line from the MIC socket, be careful not to snap the MIC line.

Step 2 Take out the installation positioning sticker in the package box, remove the release paper on the back of the sticker, and paste the sticker on the required installation position on the top.
First, determine the required installation direction of the camera. If top cable outlet is used, drill through holes whose diameter is about 25 mm in the places that are about 15 mm away from the characters “CABLE OUT" on the sticker.
Step 3 After pasting the installation positioning sticker, align the drill bit whose diameter is
5.5 mm with the two round holes marked with “DRILL HOLE” on the sticker and drill two holes that are 35 mm deep.
Step 4 Take out the two white plastic particles in the accessory package, knock the white plastic particles into the drilled two holes by using a hammer, and observe whether the ceiling is flat. The white plastic particles cannot stand out.
Step 5 Take the camera whose cover is removed in Step 1, align the two installation holes at the bottom of the camera with the two white plastic particles, take out two black selftapping screws in the accessory package, and install the camera on the ceiling by using
an electric Phillips screwdriver, as shown in Figure 3-3.

Device Installation
Step 6 Connect the RJ45 network conversion adapter in the accessory package to the power wiring terminal.
In this step, you can perform operations such as inserting or removing the SD card, resetting a function, and adjusting a video.
Unfasten the screws on both sides of the lens by using a Phillips screwdriver until you can turn the lens dome manually, observe the angle of view through the second video interface, adjust the angle of the lens dome until a satisfactory effect is achieved, and then fasten the two screws on both sides of the lens again by using a Phillips
screwdriver, as shown in Figure 3-4.
