PARADOX Spectra 1641 is an advanced security system that provides reliable protection for your home or business. With its intuitive keypad and a variety of programmable features, you can easily customize it to meet your specific needs. Arm and disarm the system with one-touch buttons, set entry and exit delays, and receive alerts for alarms, troubles, and system status changes. The keypad's LCD screen guides you through operations, and the built-in siren deters intruders and alerts you to potential threats.

ACCESS CODES
To program Access Codes:
1) Press

FNC1 BUTTON
Your system may have one or more home automation options. One of these options may be triggered directly from the keypad (i.e. reset smoke detector, activate lights, etc).
Press for 3 seconds to activate.
BYPASS PROGRAMMING
Bypassed zones remain unarmed when the area is armed.

KEYPAD SETTINGS
You can modify the keypad’s settings to suit your needs.
1) Press & hold for 3 seconds
2) Choose one. Press:
Backlight: keypad’s light
(7 is brightest)
Contrast: character intensity
(7 is lightest)
Scroll Speed: time between messages (7 is slowest)
3) Press
4) Press or to save to modify
5) Return to step 2 or to exit
CHIME PROGRAMMING
Keypad beeps when the zone opens.
1) Press for 3 seconds
2) Enter the zone number or scroll the list and press when the desired zone appears on the screen.
4) Press to exit 3) Press to exit
In Step 3 of Bypass or Step 2 of Chime Programming, re-enter the zone number or press the button indicated to disable the feature.
ALARM MEMORY DISPLAY
To view the alarms that occurred last armed period.
1) Press
Use the arrow buttons to view the zones that were breached during the last armed period.
