Section 6 - Health Hazard Information
Potential Health Effects
Primary Entry Routes: Eyes, Skin.
Target Organs: N/A
Acute Effects
Inhalation: Not likely to occur.
Eye: Irritant.
Skin: Slightly irritating.
Ingestion: Practically non-toxic
Carcinogenicity: IARC, NTP, and OSHA do not list any component as a carcinogen.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Long-Term Exposure: No specific information found.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures
Inhalation: If respiratory irritation or distress occurs remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if respiratory irritation
or distress continues.
Eye Contact: In case of contact, immediately absorb excess with clean absorbent cloth or cotton. Then hold eyelids open and
flush with a steady, gentle stream of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops or persists or if
visual changes occur.
Skin Contact: Immediately wipe excess material off skin with a dry cloth; then wash skin with plenty of soap and water. Seek
medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion: If victim is conscious and alert, give 1-2 glasses of water to drink. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Seek medical attention. Do not leave victim unattended.
After first aid, get appropriate in-plant, paramedic, or community medical support.
Note to Physicians: All treatments should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress in the patient. Consideration
should be given to the possibility that overexposure to materials other than this product may have occurred.
Special Precautions/Procedures: Treat symptomatically. No specific antidote available.
Section 7 - Spill, Leak, and Disposal Procedures
Precautions: Store below 81ºF. Handling: Avoid breathing vapors and mists. Avoid direct or prolonged contact with skin and
eyes. Use nonsparking tools and grounded/bonded equipment and containers when transferring. Do not allow to freeze. Store,
transfer and handle under a blanket of nitrogen. Storage: Store in tightly closed containers. Store in an area that is clean, dry,
well-ventilated, away from combustible material, away from ignition sources, away from incompatible materials
Spill /Leak Procedures: Wear appropriate protective gear for the situation. See Personal Protection Information in Section 8.
Caution: Spilled material may make the floor slippery. Do not leave traces of product on floors, ladders, etc., as this may
present a slipping hazard.
Containment: For large spills, dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal. Do not release into sewers or waterways.
Cleanup: Absorb with an inert absorbent. Scrape up and place in appropriate closed container (see Section: Handling and
Storage). Clean up residual material with an appropriate solvent like paint thinner or mineral spirits provided that there is
good ventilation and no sources of ignition.
Regulatory Requirements: Follow applicable OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.120).
Disposal: Chemical additions, processing or otherwise altering this material may make the waste management information
presented in this MSDS incomplete, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate. Please be advised that state and local requirements
for waste disposal may be more restrictive or otherwise different from federal state, and local requirements for waste disposal
may be more restrictive or otherwise different from federal laws and regulations. Consult state and local regulations regarding
the proper disposal of this material. Follow applicable Federal, state, and local regulations.
Disposal Regulatory Requirements: Any containers or equipment used should be decontaminated immediately after use.

Section 8 - Exposure Controls / Personal Protection
Introductory Remarks: These recommendations provide general guidance for handling this product. Because specific work
environments and material handling practices vary, safety procedures should be developed for each intended application. While
developing safe handling procedures, do not overlook the need to clean equipment and piping systems for maintenance and
repairs. Waste resulting from these procedures should be handled in accordance with Section 7: Disposal Considerations.
Assistance with selection, use and maintenance of worker protection equipment is generally available from equipment
manufacturers.
Engineering Controls: Where engineering controls are indicated by use conditions or a potential for excessive exposure exists,
the following traditional exposure control techniques may be used to effectively minimize employee exposures general area
dilution/exhaust ventilation.
Ventilation: Provide general or local exhaust ventilation systems to maintain airborne concentrations below OSHA PELs
(Sec. 2). Local exhaust ventilation is preferred because it prevents contaminant dispersion into the work area by controlling it at
its source.
Administrative Controls: N/A

Revision:
Respiratory Protection: When respirators are required, select NIOSH/MSHA approved equipment based on actual or potential
airborne concentrations and in accordance with the appropriate regulatory standards and/or industrial recommendations. For
reasonable foreseeable industrial end uses of this material, respiratory protection should not be necessary. Seek professional
advice prior to respirator selection and use. Follow OSHA respirator regulations (29 CFR 1910.134) and, if necessary, wear a
MSHA/NIOSH-approved respirator. Select respirator based on its suitability to provide adequate worker protection for given
working conditions, level of airborne contamination, and presence of sufficient oxygen. For emergency or nonroutine
operations (cleaning spills, reactor vessels, or storage tanks), wear an SCBA.
Protective Clothing/Equipment: Wear chemically protective gloves, boots, aprons, and gauntlets to prevent prolonged or
repeated skin contact. Wear protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles, per OSHA eye- and face-protection regulations
(29 CFR 1910.133). Contact lenses are not eye protective devices. Appropriate eye protection must be worn instead of, or in
conjunction with contact lenses.
Safety Stations: Make emergency eyewash stations, safety/quick-drench showers, and washing facilities available in work area.
Contaminated Equipment: Separate contaminated work clothes from street clothes. Launder before reuse. Remove this
material from your shoes and clean personal protective equipment.
Comments: Never eat, drink, or smoke in work areas. Practice good personal hygiene after using this material, especially before
eating, drinking, smoking, using the toilet, or applying cosmetics.
Work Practice Controls: Personal hygiene is an important work practice exposure control measure and the following general
measures should be taken when working with or handling this material:
1. Do not store, use, and/or consume foods, beverages, tobacco products, or cosmetics in areas where this material is stored.
2. Wash hands and face carefully before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet.
3. Wash exposed skin promptly to remove accidental splashes of contact with this material.
