The Velocitykvm line of extenders continues to evolve and add value with exciting new capabilities. The Velocitykvm
T-4200 chassis is a high reliability, rack space saving solution. What was typically housed in two 1U chassis’ is now
scaled down to a 1U chassis size, with a dual interface and current sharing power supplies. The dual interface design
provides for two separate interface modules and users have the ability to combine module options within one
chassis. These modules support a variety of video display options such as, RGB, single-link DVI, two single-link DVI
displays, one dual-link DVI display, SDI, 3G, or dual-link SDI. In addition, all modules support PS2, full duplex stereo
audio, stereo emitter, and serial (RS-232). Depending on your requirements, module model options feature either
USB 1.0 HID (only), and/or USB 2.0 (up to 480 Mbps) device ports. Using multi-mode or single-mode fiber, the system
allows users to locate a DVI monitor and peripherals via fiber from just a few meters up to 40 kilometers away from
the controlling computer securely without the loss of resolution.
Powered by Thinklogical’s cutting edge, patent-pending MRTS (Multi Rate Transmission System) technology, the
module transports every frame of a DVI video stream seamlessly, with no compression, or dropped frames. In
addition, all high speed peripherals function with no latency making it ideally suited for a wide range of applications
in the broadcast and post-production field, as well as command and control centers, universities, air traffic control,
energy production and exploration, and any other commercial KVM applications.

High Reliability System Architecture Saves Rack Space
The Velocitykvm T-4200 is the only extension product in the marketplace that provides high reliability with all
of the essential features and functions necessary in mission critical environments. System architecture provides
hot-swappable, current sharing power supply modules, a critical component in high up-time environments
which typically are supported by more than one power grid as a failover option. In the unlikely event that a
power module fails, there is no interruption to the component because they are both functioning. In addition, a
dry contact annunciator provides an alarm warning in the event of a power failure or a unit overheating and a
replacement may be installed with minimal downtime.
The Velocitykvm T-4200 has a versatile modular design which allows the unit to be used in a variety of
applications, as either a transmitter, receiver, or even a transceiver. In addition, the T-4200 is designed with
dual, hot-swappable interface modules. Video interface options include support for one RGB connection, one
single-link DVI connection, two single-link DVI connections, one dual-Link DVI display connection, up to four
SD/HD signals or up to two 3G/dual-link signals. Peripheral options include PS2, full duplex stereo audio, serial
(RS-232), USB 2.0 and/or USB 1.0. This enables two functional source computers to be connected to one T-4200
transmitter, which then extends video and peripheral signals to two separate Velocitykvm stand alone
receiver destinations at various workstation locations. For a complete routing and extension system, the
T-4200 offers unprecedented integration with Thinklogical’s entire line of Velocitykvm (stand alone) extenders,
SDI Xtreme 3G+ extenders and the VX Router family of products.

Thinklogical VX160 routers. The T-4200 unit connects to the CPU with the supplied peripheral
cables.
VIDEO EXTENSION - Series
Leveraging standard SFP+ transceivers, the system allows for the usage of either multi-mode or single-mode fiber optic
cable. The Velocitykvm T-4200 dual module design requires two or three fibers for each module, with one or two fibers
dedicated to the video and data and one dedicated to the back channels for the USB and DDC. The DDC (Display Data
Channel) or EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) information is provided to the CPU by either a generic table stored
inside the transmitter, or the displays table via an active link between the receiver and transmitter.
The Velocitykvm T-Series offers best-in-class fiber optic performance with advanced peripheral and interface capability.
The Velocitykvm T-Series modules offer the following model options:
USB 2.0, PS2, Serial (RS-232), and Analog Stereo Audio (bidirectional)
Complete support for USB high speed (2.0) devices (along with USB 1.1 support), ideal use for DVD drives, CDROM,
Memory Stick, and other high speed storage and desktop peripherals. Supports 480Mb/second transfer rates.
USB 1.0 (HID ONLY), PS2, Serial (RS-232), and Analog Stereo Audio (bidirectional)
Designed for security conscious customers. No physical support for USB thumb drives or other full speed devices.
Supports human interface devices only, such as keyboard, mouse, and tablets. Provides PS2/USB conversion.
