Loading batteries:

1) Remove the lid of the battery compartment.

2) Insert 2 size AAA batteries with polarities as indicated inside the compartment.

Basic operation

Remote control introduction

1. MUTE

Press this button to shut off sound of the TV, press again to restore TV sound.

2. STANDBY

Press this button to switch to standby mode, and press it again to turn TV on.

3. TV/AV

This button is used to switch among different sources.

4. PIC MODE

This button is used to adjust user picture mode, press this button repeatedly and select one of four settings.

5. SND MODE

This button is used to select the sound mode.

6. LANG

This button is used to set OSD languge

7. SLEEP

TV will be switched off automatically at preset sleep time if you have set sleep timer. Use your remote control to set the sleep timer.

Press SLEEP button on the remote control, then press this button again or press

VOL v/w button to set sleep time: 0, 10, 30, 60, 90, 120 min. Press MENU button to exit when you have set the sleep timer. After you have set sleep timer, press

SLEEP button again, you will see the Remaining time.

Notes: The sleep timer you have set will be canceled when the TV turns off or if a power failure occurs.

8. C.SYS

This button is used to select different colour system.

9. S.SYS

This button is used to select different sound system.

10. CALL

This button is used to display current TV channel number.

11. Digital buttons(0~9)

To select channel with digital buttons.

12. RECALL

To swap to the previous program you wanted from current program.

13. PROG

r and PROGs button

Press these buttons to change channel upward or downward, they are also to select the vertical item in OSD menu.

14. VOL

v and VOLw button

Press these buttons to adjust TV volume and select horizontal item in OSD menu.

15. MENU button

Press this button to display main menu or exit the menu.

16. button

The button is used to set NICAM sound system.

17. TV/TEXT

Press this button to open teletext.

18. HOLD

Press HOLD button to toggle Hold function on or off. When Hold is switched on, the pageacquisition is stopped. W hen Hold is switched off, the page acquisition is started.

19. SIZE

This is a toggle functin among 3 different size:

Normal Size Top-half Bottom-half

Normal size: Display full screen in normal size.

Top-half: Display the upper half of the screen in double height.

Bottom-half: Display the lower half of the screen in double height.

20. EXIT

Under teletext mode, press EXIT button to exit the teletext mode.

21.Red/Green/Yellow/Cyan Command

These four buttons are used to request linked page number with the current page.

22. INDEX

Press INDEX button, then index page displays.

23. MIX

Press MIX button, the teletext page changes transparent, TV content and teletext page contentwill display at the same time. Press MIX button again to exit mix mode.

24. REVEAL

Some pages contain hidden information. The hidden text is displayed if the

REVEAL button is pressed. The hidden text will be cancelled when another page is requested if a different subpage is broadcasting or if the REVEAL button is pressed.

25. CANCEL

Press CANCEL button will remove all teletext display from the screen. If the system was already under cancel mode, press this button again to return to full screen teletext display.

26. SUBTITLE

Turning the Teletext subtitles on or off. Subtitles is a separate mode with only a few keys available. There will be no OSD visible otherthan the Teletext Subtitles.

27. SUBCODE

Subcode mode gives the possibility to select certain subcode pages of a Teletext page. Entry of digits within the range 0...9 for current subcode entry. If the digit completes the entry, a page request is started. Press PROG r/s button to change the subcode pages.

Turning the TV On and Off

1.

Insert the AC main wire into TV power port. Press

ON/OFF switch to turn power on.

2.

If TV is in standby mode, please press STANDBY button on the remote control or TV side panel to turn it on . The indicator will switch from red to green.

3.

If you want to interrupt watching TV or go out for a while, you can press STANDBY button on the remote control. If you want to watch TV again, you can press this button again.

4.

Unplug the power cord when the TV will not be used for a long period time.

Auto power-off

In case the unit under no signal status in any mode, TV will enter into standby mode automatically in 5 minutes. But in VGA mode, this time will be shorten in 45 seconds.

Memorizing the Channels

Yo ur TV c an memo rize all o f the availab le ch annels. After the available channels are memorized, use PROG r /s button to scan through channels.

Language select

Before using TV, you can set the language:

1) Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, then press PROG r /s button to enter

“Settings” menu as following:

2) Press VOL w button to enter the submemu and press VOL v/w button to select the language.

This TV has six languages for you to choose:

English, France, Spanish, Italy, Russian and

German.

3) Press MENU button twice to exit.

Setting video format

In order to meet the video format in your country, you can set the video format as following: Press PROG r/sbutton to select “Colour System” under “Picture” menu, and then press VOL v/w button to change video format as following:

AUTO PAL SECAM1 SECAM2

“SECAM1” means SECAM BG/DK system.

“SECAM2” means SECAM L/L’ system.

For example, if you are in France,you should select

“SECAM2”.

Setting input mode

Press TV/AV button on the remote control or TV side panel, so you can switch input sources as following:

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, and then press

PROG r/s to enter “Sound” menu, press VOL w button to enter the menu and select

“Sound System”, then press VOLv/w button to select sound system as following:

“BG A2” means German stereo.

Tuner setup

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, then press

PROG

r/s button to select “Tuner”, press VOL w button to enter “Tuner”

menu:

1) Display current channel

In

“Tuner” menu, Press PROGr/s button to select “ Channel”, you can see the

current channel number.

2) Search country

Under

“Tuner” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Search country”, then press VOL v/w button to change country as following :

English French Spanish Italian German Russian

3) Channel auto tune

Under

“Tuner” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Auto Search”, then press VOL w button to enter “Auto Search” menu as follows :

TV will auto tune and all programs searched will be saved into memory until the whole prccess is over automatically, please don

’t interrupt it.

Note:

1) If you use the TV for the first time, you must use

“Auto Search” to tune TV channels in order to memorize all channels.

2) If your TV is not in TV input state, you must switch it to TV state (detail operation please refer to

“Setting input mode”).

3) After TV auto search, you will find, If the channel you searched is PAL DK/

BG/I or SECAM DK/BG, the

“Colour System” item will show “Auto”.

4) If you want to stop the process of

“Auto Search”, just press MENU button twice to exit.

4) Fast search

Under

“Tuner” menu. Press PROGr/sbutton to select “Fast search”, and then press VOL w button to enter “Fast search” menu as following:

5) Channel manual search

Under

“Tuner” menu. Press PROGr/sbutton to select “Manual Search”, and then press VOL w button to enter “Manual Search” menu as following:

TV will tune from lower frequency to higher frequency when you press VOL w button,and from higher frequency to lower frequency when you press VOL v.

6) Skip

Select the channel you want to delete by using number buttons, press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, In

“Tuner” menu use PROGr/s button to select

“Skip ”, press VOL w button to set it “On”. If you want to restore

the channel you have deleted, just press digital buttons to select this channel

7) AFT

In

“Tuner” menu, press PROG r/s button to select “AFT”, then press VOL w button to select

“On” or “Off”. When “AFT” is set to “On”, the changed frequency can be showed in

“Fine Tune” submenu, that means the current channel is tracking with the frequency automatically. W hen

“AFT” is set to “OFF”, the frequency will not change in

“Fine Tune” submenu.

8) Channel Lock

If you want to lock a certain channel, please select this channel and set

“CH

Lock

” item “ON”, then in “Function” menu, select “Child Lock ” and enter it by inputting password, set

“Child Lock” item “ON”. Exit menu,turn off the TV, then turn it on again, when you turn to this channel, you will be asked to enter the password to watch this channel. If you want to cancel this function, just set the

“Child Lock” item “Off” in “Child Lock” submenu.

9) Channel Swap

This option sets the Channel Swap system.Press the VOL buttons , to select the channel.

10) Fine tune

In case of unfavorable image or sound of TV program, you can use Fine Tune function to obtain satisfied image or sound with operating steps as follows: i) Press MENU button to display the main menu on the screen, then press

PROG r /s button to select “Tuner”, press VOL w button to enter

“Tuner”submenu.

ii) Press PROG r/s button to select “Fine Tune” in “Tuner” submenu, press

VOL / w button to conduct fine tuning from high frequency to low frequency or from low frequency to high frequency till best picture or sound effect is obtained.

iii) After finishing fine tune, AFT function will be no effect for the channel and the

“AFT” item will switch to “Off”.

How to select TV channel

1) Select the channel you desired to watch

Press PROG r/s button or use number button directely to select what you want to watch. the default channel number is double-digit, if the channel you wanted is

“0” to “9”, Please press number “00”to”09” or press “0” to “9” and wait a moment. If the channel you wanted is more than

“99” (the TV set has no more than 251 channels ), please press number button

“1” or “2” until “1_ _” or

“2_ _” symbol appears on the top of screen, then you can press the last two numbers.

2) Press VOL v/w button to adjust TV sound volume you would like to enjoy.

3) Press MUTE button to cut off volume completely. To restore the volume, press

MUTE button again.

4) Press CALL button, TV will display current channel on the up-right screen.

Adjusting the picture

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, then press

PROG r/s button to select “Picture” menu and press VOL w button to enter

“Picture” menu.

1) Adjusting the brightness of picture

In

“Picture” submenu, press PROGr /sbutton to select “Brightness” , and press VOL v/w button to adjust brightness, until you like it.

2) Adjusting the contrast of picture

In the

“Picture” menu, press PROGr/sbutton to select the “Contrast”, then press VOL v/w button to set contrast to your desire.

3) Adjusting the colour of picture

In the

“Picture” menu, press PROGr/sbutton to select the “Color”, then press

VOL v/w button to set color to your desire.

4) Adjusting the sharpness of picture

In the

“Picture” menu, press PROGr/sbutton to select the “Sharpness”, then press VOL v/w button to set sharpness to your desire.

5) Adjusting the tint of picture

In

“Picture” menu, press PROG / button to select “Tint”, then press VOL / button to set tint to your desire.

Notes: Tint is only available for NTSC program.

Adjusting AUDIO

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV front panel firstly, then press

PROG r/s button to select “Sound ” menu,and press VOLw button to enter

“Sound” menu .

1) Adjusting treble of sound

In

“Audio” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Treble”, use VOLv/w button to adjust sound treble.

2) Adjusting bass of band

In

“Audio” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Bass”, use VOLv/w button to adjust sound bass.

3) Adjusting balance of sound

In

“Audio” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Balance”, use VOLv /w button to adjust sound balance.

OSD Setup

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, press PROG r/s button to select

“Settings” and press VOLv/w button to enter “Settings” menu.

Settings

1) OSD Language

Please refer to page 10.

2) OSD timer

Press PROG r /s button to select “OSD Timer” in “Settings” menu, Press

VOL v/w button to select one time from among the following time:5sec,15sec,

30sec,60sec,90sec and never.

3) Adjusting OSD Horizontal Position

Press PROG r/s button to select “OSD H.Position” and press VOLv/w button to set Horizontal position of OSD.

4) Adjusting OSD Vertical Position

Press PROG r/s button to select “OSD V.position” and press VOLv/w button to set vertical position of OSD.

Function setup

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, then press PROG r/ s button to enter “Function” menu as following:

1) Set Teletext Language

If you want to display Teletext correctly, you must select teletext language according to your country. Select the

“Text Language” item, press VOLv/w to change it, there are three languages for you to select: European, Cyrillic and

Greek.

2)

Teletext E/W

Before you enter teletext ,press PROG r/s button to select “Teletext E/W ” in

“Function” menu .press VOLv/w button to set it “East ” or “West” according to your country in Eastern Europe or Western Europe. For example ,if you are in

England ,you should select

“West”.

3)

Bluescreen

Press PROG r/s button to select “Bluescreen” in “Function” menu. press VOLv/ w button to set it “On” or “Off”.

4)

Child Lock

In

“Function” menu, press PROGr/s button to select “Child Lock”, input the password to enter the submenu(the default and omnipotent password is 1980).

If you set the

“Child Lock” item “ON”, exit the menu , turn off the TV ,wait a few seconds turn on the TV, the

“tuner”menu will be disabled. Just set the “Child

Lock

” item “OFF” to resume it, you also can change the password in “Child

Lock

” submenu.

5)

Setting the sleep timer

Please refer to page 8.

Notes:The sleep timer you have set will be canceled when the TV turns off or if a

power failure occurs.

Component setup

When the TV is in Component mode, press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel. Press PROG /

button to select

“Windows” menu, then press PROG / button to select the item you need to adjust, then use VOL / button to adjust it. (Detail information please refer to VGA setup )

Note: Auto Config function is not activated in component mode.

VGA setup

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, press PROG r/s button to select

“Windows” and press VOLv/w button to enter “Windows” menu.

W in do ws Windows

1) The TV supports 640x480 resolutions, and when it is used as monitor, please set the best resolution to 640x480.

2) This TV supports no higher than 60Hz under VGA mode, so please set the refresh frequency to 60Hz. If the frequency is higher than 60Hz, the screen maybe flicker.

3) Adjusting phase and clock

When PC is connected to TV set because of the difference of PC parameter,you should adjust the

“Phase” and “Clock” items in “Windows” menu until you get a good picture.

4) Auto Config

If there are unexpected problems happened when you adjust the items, you can select the

“Auto Config” item and set it “Off”, then set it “On” again, the TV set will resume the original settings.

5) Adjusting H.Position and V.Position

These two items are used to adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the whole picture.

6) Adjusting colour temperature

You can adjust the Red,Green,Blue level respectively to make your picture more comfortable for you. Select the

“Temp” item in “Windows” menu, you can adjust them by yourself when you set it

“User” or use the default setup when you set it

“C7500”.

Notes:

“Auto Config” item is disabled in Component mode.

Auto SCART

When you input video signal from SCART in TV mode, the TV set will auto switch to

“SCART” state, and if you don’t want to watch the video from SCART, you can press TV/AV button to switch to other source.

Notes:

“Color System” and “Sound System” items are disabled in SCART mode.

Antenna connection

The input impedance of the TV antenna is 75Ω, the 75Ωco-axial cable connecting the VHF/UHF antenna can be connected with the antenna socket on the rear board of the TV set. This is a 300Ωflat feed line as in the figure, which can be connected to the antenna socket via a 300Ω/75Ωimpedance converter.

l 75Ω, co-axial cable is recommended to prevent the interference and double image due to the unmatched input impedance of the antenna.

l The antenna/ cable and power line should not be bundled together.

Trouble shooting

If you have any problem, check the countermeasure for each symptom listed below.

The following symptoms may have caused by inappropriate adjustment rather than actual malfunction of the unit. If the trouble persists, contact the service center.

Problem

Poor picture and sound quality

No picture or sound under TV status

No sound or sound is too low at maximum volume

No color, wrong colors or tints.

Possible Solution

Try another channel.

Adjust the antenna.

Check all wire connections.

Try another channel.

Press the TV/AV button.

Make sure the TV is plugged in.

Check the antenna connections.

First, check the volume of units connected to your TV.

Adjust the TV volume accordingly.

Check sound adjustment(Volume and Mute)

Make sure the program is broadcast in color. Select the picture menu, then adjust the color or tint submenu to the proper value.

Check all wire connections.

Picture rolls vertically.

Blurred or snowy picture, distorted sound

Remote control malfunctions

Check the direction, location and connections of your antenna.

This interference is often due to the use of an indoor antenna.

Replace the remote control batteries.

Check the battery terminals.

Remote is out of range, move close to TV

Confirm there is no obstructions between remote and TV

Make sure power cord is plugged in

Image is not centered on the screen.

Adjust the horizontal and vertical position

Clean TV set

Colored point

When cleaning the LCD screen, please pull out the power plug, use dry and soft and clean cloth to clean the dust on the screen and shell. In case of further cleaning for the screen, please use clean wet cloth. Do not use naphtha, thinner or similar liquids for cleaning.

This product adopts a high-resolution LCD TV, and the colored point of some pixels may occur due to the special feature of the product. For a few of colored points, this shall not be related with terrible product performance or product reliability, and in case of this situation, the service of the product will not be influenced. For the criterion of colored points, our company has similar products with others. The colored point in conformity with the product criterion is not covered by the return scope of the product due to quality problems. We hope our respected customers will forgive us.

Picture defects and countermeasures

The most common types of television interference are as following:

SNOWY PICTURE

Snowy picture is usually caused due to weak signal. Adjust antenna or install an antenna amplifier.

DOUBLE IMAGES OR

“GHOSTS”

Double images are usually caused by reflections from tall buildings. Adjust the direction of the antenna or raise it.

RADIO WAVE INTERFEENCE

W ave pattern are moving on the screen, which are usually caused by nearby radio transmitter or shot-wave receiving equipment.

HIGH TEMPERATURE ELECTROTHERMAL INTERFERENCE

Diagonal, or herring-bone, patterns appear on the screen or part of picture is missing. This is probably caused by high temperature electro thermal equipment in the nearby hospital.

NOTE: If one of these symptoms appears on the screen when the cable from a company is connected, this may be duo to the local cable company broadcast.
