You can recharge Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery while using them.

1. Press down the battery cover and then slide cover to the direction as indicated.
2. Insert two batteries with correct polarity and close the battery cover.

● Using AC Adapter
1. Connect AC adapter to AC adapter plug.
2. Open the cover of USB port and connect the AC adapter to the USB port as the
drawing shows below.

You can recharge Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery by connecting the
device with AC adapter while using it.
2. Connect USB.
Select recharging mode after connecting to the USB port.

● Notes for Recharge
- Recharge the battery only where the temperature is in 0~40℃. Recharging in high
temperature may cause to activate the recharge protection system and block the
replenishment.
- You can recharge nothing but Ni-MH, Ni-CD battery.
- Replace the battery with new one, if the battery lifetime gets shorter.
- You can not recharge the battery any longer when the battery lifetime is up.
- You can not recharge the rechargeable battery with general alkaline battery, using both
of them at the same time.
● Notes for using battery
- Use same kind of battery.
- Remove the battery from the device if you will not use it for a long time.
- Do not peel off the cover of battery.
- Place the battery in a case when it is carried or stored. If the battery contacts with metal
like keys or rings, it may cause overheating or a short.
- Do not connect the battery polarities with +, - serially. It may cause fire.

- Do not make the battery contact with the consent. It may cause an explosion.
- Do not disassemble or modify the battery at your will. It may cause a dangerous
accident such as fire, battery explosion, etc.
- If the harmful elements of battery contaminated your eyes or skin, clean the area with
fresh water and consult a doctor immediately.
If the LCD display does not work with the new battery, check the polarity of
battery immediately. If the LCD display does not work even when the polarity of
battery is right, remove the battery from the device immediately and request for
repairing service as soon as possible.

Basic Operation
● Battery On/Off Switch
Select “ON” to connect the power.
※ If you will not use the device for a long time, select “OFF” to disconnect
the power and prevent the loss of electric current.

Using Micro SD Card
You can save, play, copy or move the recorded files to the internal
memory and the external Micro SD card.
The device supports Micro SD card and SDHC card.
※ Do not eject SD card or turn off the power when it is performing
operations such as record, copy, move, erase or combining files.
It may damage the data.
● Insert Micro SD Card
1. Open the micro SD slot cover and slide the SD card into the slot completely.
2. Check if the right side of the micro SD card is up.
3. Push micro SD card inward to be unlocked and ejected.
Using Micro SD Card

Recording Quality Setting
- Set Voice, Encode or FM recording quality.
- Select PCM, SP or LP recording mode by using Rec Mode

- The file can be recorded with various bit rates of sound quality by

Automatic Recording System
- Auto Recording System makes it possible to record the sound automatically detected by
the device. If there is no sound, ARS pauses the recording or stands by new recording from
the next file according to ARS mode.
- The ARS feature works in voice recording according to ARS mode.
◆ ARS-A: The several contents are recorded into one file and if there is no sound, ARS
pauses the recording.
◆ ARS-B: If there is no sound, ARS stops the recording and stands by new recording from
the next file.

Management of Folder & File
PC recognizes the device as removable disk when it connects to PC. Music and Record
folder are created in the drive. You can create a folder, read, write, delete file and format
disk as the device is recognized a separate drive.
Music Folder
Music files can be numbered upto 999. Play a file in the music folder.
※ You can play music files in the sub folder under Music Folder.
Voice Folder
Under the Voice Folder, the voice recorded files are stored. The file can be created in
order of A, B, C, D folder, while recording. Maximum 999 files can be stored in each
folder. If the number of file is 999 in a folder, a new file will be stored in next folder.
※ The device can only play the file recorded by itself.
TM Folder
Recorded File
The Timer Recorded File of FM/MIC mode is stored in TM folder. While recoding, the

● Warranty (Service Policy)
- Free repair services will be provided in compliance with the free repair policy of
DIASONIC Technology.
- If a breakdown occurs during the warranty period, bring the product with warranty card
to the sales agency or the service center of DIASONIC Technology.
- Free repair service will be provided only when the purchase date and the name of the
sales agency appear on the warranty card.
- Please check all information is written when purchasing the product from the sales

- The warranty card is not reissuable so we recommend you keep it safe.
