ꞏꞏ R600a is a natural gas that is operational under multiple circumstances. It is flammable, so take care not
to damage any device of the chilling circuit when transporting and installing the appliance.
Refrigerant squirting out of the pipeline is flammable and can cause eye injury. In case of any leak, no
naked fire or potential fire source is allowed, in addition to several minute ventilation of the room where
the appliance is located.
To prevent generation of flammable gas when the chilling circuit leaks, the room size for placement of
this appliance shall be determined according to the amount of refrigerant used.
Do not start the appliance when any sign of damage is displayed. Please consult your dealer in case of
any questions.
One more cubic meter is required for any additional 8g of R600a refrigerant.
The dose of refrigerant is shown on the nameplate inside the refrigerator.
Make sure to protect the environment when you discard packing materials of the appliance.

Additional tips for proper usage
ꞏꞏ In the event of a power failure, call the local office of your electric company and ask how long the failure
is going to last.
-- Most power failures that are corrected in an hour or two will not affect your refrigerator temperatures.
However, you should minimize the number of door openings while the power is off.
-- Should the power failure last more than 24 hours, remove and discard all frozen food.
ꞏꞏ There is no need to disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply if you will be away for less than
three weeks. But, remove all the food if you are going away for the three weeks or more. Unplug the
refrigerator and clean it, rinse and dry.
ꞏꞏ Please observe maximum storage times and expiry dates of frozen goods.
ꞏꞏ The appliance might not operate consistently (possibility of defrosting of contents or temperature
becoming too warm in the frozen food compartment) when sited for an extended period of time below the
cold end of the range of temperatures for which the refrigerating appliance is designed.
ꞏꞏ Do not store food which goes bad easily at low temperature, such as bananas.
ꞏꞏ Any increase in temperature of frozen food during defrosting can shorten its storage life.
Saving Energy Tips
ꞏꞏ Install the appliance in a cool, dry room with adequate ventilation. Ensure that it is not exposed to direct
sunlight and never put it near a direct source of heat (a radiator, for example).
ꞏꞏ Allow warm food to cool down before placing it in the appliance.
4 English
ꞏꞏ Put frozen food in the refrigerator to thaw. You can then use the low temperatures of the frozen products
to cool food in the refrigerator.
ꞏꞏ Do not keep the door of the refrigerator open for too long when putting food in or taking food out. The
shorter the time the door is open, the less frost build-up you’ll have in the freezer.
ꞏꞏ It is recommended to install the refrigerator with clearance to the back and sides. This will help reduce
power consumption and keep your energy bills lower.
ꞏꞏ For the most efficient use of energy, please keep the all inner fittings such as baskets, drawers, shelves
on the position supplied by manufacturer.

1.If placement of the refrigerator is a little uneven, level of the
refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the leveling leg beneath
the cabinet (turning it counterclockwise to raise the height). In
lower part of the leveling leg there is an adjusting hole, through
which adjustment can be made by inserting simple tools like
a crosshead screwdriver. To protect surfaces of both sides,
protective film is applied to both sides of a new appliance before
delivery. If you are sure appearance of the appliance is free from
defects, you may remove the film for aesthetic purpose.
ꞏꞏ The refrigerator should be placed on a hard, level ground. Uneven
placement can cause noise and vibration.
ꞏꞏ Placement on weak floor will strengthen the noise.
ꞏꞏ Placement on carpet requires a solid backing plate, on which the
refrigerator stands to prevent color change of the carpet caused
by heat under the fridge or prevent the carpet from blocking heat

Food-storing guideline
It's better to pack food with preservative bag (wrap) or seal food inside
a container with a cover so as to prevent the food from dehydrating or
tainting of odor.
Hot food and beverage should be left for cooling down to room temperature
before you put it into the fridge, which can reduce power consumption.
Cooked food should be stored separately from raw food.
Food shall not be arranged too tensely. Sufficient space shall be left to
facilitate circulation of cooling air.
Do not place food close to temperature probe.
Food and container should not be placed against the back plate.
It's better to cut food into small pieces for storage.
English 9
Washable food like fruits and vegetables should be better cleaned and
dried before you put them to storage.
Fruits and vegetables should be placed in the vegetable & fruit drawer so
as to keep their moisture and freshness.
Tropical fruits like bananas and pineapples are not suitable for storage
in refrigerator. Objects that have strict requirement for temperature, such
as blood serum, vaccine and academic materials, should not be stored in
If you need to store a large amount of food, make ice, or require power
cool & power freeze, you may remove the freezer drawer and place frozen
food directly on evaporator plate.
When ambient temperature is lower than 10ºC, the fridge is subject to
electric heating.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Internal accessories
Remove all shelves, door racks, baskets, covers and drawers. Use soft cloth
dipped in warm water or mild detergent (for cleaning kitchenware) to wipe
them clean. When detergent has been used, it must be wiped clean with
water, followed by drying with dry cloth.
Door seal strip
Liquid like oil or soy sauce sticking to door seal strip for a long time can
easily damage the seal, especially the seal on bottom of upper door, which
should be carefully cleaned. A piece of chopstick wound with cotton strip can
be used to clean the grooves. When the seal strip is to be inserted into the
groove after cleaning, first secure the four corners and then insert it section
by section.
How to defrost the fridge
When frost layer gets thicker inside the fridge, refrigeration effect of the fridge may be impaired. In this
case, you may remove all food from the fridge, pack them properly, unplug the power supply and clean up
water with soft cloth after frost thaws. Plug on again the power cord and set up temperature for operation.
Generally, the freezer should be defrosted once or twice a year.
1.The power plug of fridge must be removed before defrosting. Completely clean the freezer after
2.Generally, the best time for defrosting is when the freezer is empty or nearly empty.
3.Never use metal or sharp tools to defrost the freezer in order to avoid damage to the fridge.
4.Never use an electric heater to defrost the fridge.
Precautions for cleaning interior and exterior of the fridge
ower plug must be pulled off the outlet before cleaning. The plugging on/off interval should be more
than five minutes.
No water should be allowed to enter the light box during cleaning.
Clean with soft towel dipped in warm water or mild detergent before cleaning it up with dry cloth.
10 English
o not clean with cleaner containing abrasive (such as toothpaste), acid substance, chemical solution
(such as alcohol) or polishing agent.
To ensure operational performance of the fridge, clean it regularly.
Check the following after maintenance: check the power cord for cracks and damage; check the power
plug which should be inserted into the outlet reliably; check the power plug for abnormal heating.
Disassembly of accessories

The fridge reduces internal temperature via cycles such as compressor operation and refrigerant
circulation, thus guaranteeing freshness and nutrition of food stored in fridge. When the fridge is
working, you may hear some slight noise, which is normal. Please feel relieved in using the fridge.
Ambient temperature is high in summer and the fridge dissipates heat slowly, which causes the
compressor to operate a longer time. We recommend users to set refrigerating temperature at 5℃ to
7℃ .
Ambient temperature is low in winter and its difference from internal temperature of fridge decreases,
which could make you feel that the fridge is not chilling enough, and it is a normal phenomenon. We
recommend users to set refrigerating temperature at 3℃ to 4℃ .
