Connect the audio/video out sockets of
external equipment to these sockets.
10. S-VIDEO/AUDIO IN SOCKETS (S-AV) (option)
Connect the video out socket of a S-VIDEO
VCR to the S-VIDEO socket. Connect the
audio out sockets of the S-VIDEO VCR to the
audio sockets as in AV2.
11. HEADPHONE SOCKET (option)
Connect the headphone plug to this socket.

operation

1.Press the main power button to switch the set on.
2. If the set is in standby mode, press the POWER, ¡a/¡a or
NUMBER buttons on the remote control handset to switch it on
fully.
Press the POWERbutton on the remote control handset.
The set reverts to standby mode.
4.Press the main power button on the set again. It switches the
set off and the power/standby indicator goes out in a few
seconds.

Exchanging programmes
1.Press the ¢¸/¢º button to change the left hand programme
number. The viewing station corresponding to the new
programme number is shown on the screen.
2.Press the NUMBER buttons to enter the desired right hand
programme number. Any number under 10 is entered with a
numeric '0' in front of it, i.e. '05' for 5.
3.Press the OKbutton. The station stored in the right hand
programme number will now appear as the left hand
programme number.
4.Repeat steps 1 to 3 to exchange other programmes.

Auto AV setting (option)
This is optional function. In euro scart model, AUTOAV ONor
OFF appears. If your VCR outputs a switching voltage when it is
switched to playback, select AUTO AV ONwith the VCR
connected to Euro scart 1.
The set is automatically switched to AV1 mode when an AV signal
is input. But if you want to keep on watching TV mode, set AUTO
AVtoOFF.

To recall your preferred setting, press the PSMbutton until the
desired picture (STANDARD, USER, DYNAMICor MILD)

the factory for good picture reproduction appropriate to each
programme character and cannot be changed.
Note : If you press the PSM button after making appropriate
adjustment in the Picture menu, the display USER automatically
appears even though you have already set a factory preset setting;

You can watch the TV in three picture formats; STANDARD,
WIDEand ZOOM.

This is the normal picture size 4

This is the cinema screen picture format. Some TV stations

picture are lost.
