Features of your air cleaner with
humidification function
Automatically set the humidity level which will optimize
skin hydration.
TOTAL AIR CARE!
Universal design
By combining the functions of purification, humidification
and S-Plasma ion, you can create a clean and fresh indoor
environment.
The appliance is designed to be user friendly and
harmonizes well with any indoor interior.
Air purification/ Humid-purification /
S-Plasma ion, the harmony of the three
powerful air treatment devices.
• The heart of a purifier: HEPA filter
Filter the fine dust completely by using the HEPA filter
which has an outstanding dust-collecting function.
• Double allergen control
Eliminate the substances in the air cause allergies by
using the anti-allergen HEPA filter and the Super plasma
ion which is Samsung’s exclusive technology.
• Outstanding hydration and purification effect:
The fine water particles produced by the air cleaner with
humidification functionare easily absorbed into the skin
and spread far and wide. In addition, it also eliminates
water soluble odor particles in the air to create a fresh
indoor environment.
• Active sterilization/control through Samsung Super
Plasma ion:
With hydroperoxy radical (HOO-) which is made by
combining active hydrogen(H) and oxygen ion(O₂-),
Samsung Super Plasma ion surrounds and sterilizes the
harmful substances floating in the air by destroying the
hydrogen bond of the protein structure. In addition,
the super plasma ion not only eliminates the germs,
viruses, and fungi but it provides fresh air because it
also combines with the active oxygen(OH-radical), to
neutralize the harmful oxygen to moisture status that is
harmless to humans.
• Clean humidification:
With antibacterial block and a positive ion filter, execute
a double sterilization of humidification water and delays
the production of white powder created by minerals
after the moisture is evaporated.
Flu prevention mode
Automatically select the level of humidity which will
minimize the possibility of getting flu.

Maintenance
1. Clean the appliance after emptying the water in the water bottle and the appliance.
•If you leave water in the appliance for a long time, germs will breed
and the foreign substances in the water will be mixed with the
ambient air, which can cause product malfunctions such as corrosion
inside the air humid purifier or blockage of the humidity exhaust.
2. Remove the water from the appliance, water bottle, and purifier filter completely.
Remove the water with a dry cloth or dry the appliance with cool breeze in the
shade.
3. When the appliance is not in use for a long time, replace it in the packing box and

against the indoor temperature.
•The increase or decrease in the flu virus survival rate is influenced mostly by the surrounding temperature.
However, the flu prevention mode is an auxiliary function, so it automatically sets the regular amount of
humidification to prevent your throat from being dry, which can reduce the possibility of getting flu.
•When selecting flu prevention mode, do not inhale the vapor produced by the air cleaner with humidification
function since the vapor is just the same as the vapor from other appliances.

Cleaning the air cleaner with humidification function
Cleaning the purifier filter (Antibacterial block + Positive ion filter)
Use the tap water for the safe and long term use of air cleaner with humidification function.
1. After detaching the purifier filter from water bottle cap, put the filter
into the tap water and clean it by shaking slowly.
2. Fit the purifier filter back into the water bottle cap.
• Initial use : When you wash the filter for the first few times, sometimes the water color can be dark red but will not
cause any harm to the human body.
• Water supply : When operating the appliance for the first time after filling the water supply bottle, the initial operation
time can be delayed since it needs time for the water supply to flow through. (Maximum 5minutes)
• Replacement time : The replacement time for the purifier filter can vary according to the elements of water and
service life. When white powder forms in the tray or disk, purchase a new filter and change.
• Maintenance : When the filter is not in use for a long time, detach the filter from the water bottle and keep the filter
in the vinyl package after drying it in the shade.
•Be careful of damage since the bottle water can be weakened by shock.
•Do not disassemble the purifier filter, do not damage it, and do not make a hole in the filter net. The antibacterial
block grain or ion resin will leak out of the filter.
•Do not drink the water filtered by a purifier filter in the air cleaner with humidification function since it is not
edible water.
Cleaning the disk
When the appliance is not cleaned for a long time, sediment powder will form on the disk, so clean the disk frequently.
1. Detach the rear cover (), and lift off the water bottle from water
bottle box () while the air cleaner with humidification function is
switched off.

Pulling both upper sides of the front panel will detach the front panel.
• The natural evaporative humidifying method produces moisture
only and impurities such as calcium dissolved in the water might
settle on the disk and tray. These are normal phenomenon of
using the evaporative humidifying method. Clean the appliance
more frequently according to the pollution level.
