Setting temperature
Set the temperature 1°F higher than actually desired. This can
reduce your cooling costs by up to about 10%.

The front intake grille can be easily removed for
cleaning purposes (refer to page 7 - Remove the
front intake grille).
Gently wash with water and a sponge. (Do not
use a scrubbing brush or other hard cleaning aids).

The filter can be easily cleaned using a vacuum cleaner
(To remove the air filter, please refer to page 25 for
Air Filter Removal). Vacuum the front of the filter
and then wash the back with water. If it is badly soiled,
wash with a mild household detergent.
It is recommended that you replace the

no. CZ-SF6P) every 3 months.

The following sounds are normal during operation:

• a soft clicking sound when the compressor is turned on and off.
• a flowing sound due to circulation of the refrigerant when the compressor is turned on.

Note: If the unit is installed at the other than normal window height and/or has been
custom-installed (e.g., through the wall), the customer is responsible for removing
the unit from its installation prior to the performance of in-home service.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of the original purchase is
required for service and parts replacement under this warranty.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials and workmanship and does not cover normal wear or cosmetic
damage. The warranty does not cover damages which occur in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by
