The AUTO OFF function automatically deactivates the appliance to stop energy consumption when: • Before you press Start/Pause button, if you do not use the appliance for about five minutes. All settings are cancelled. Press On/Off button to activate it again. • After 5 minutes from the end of the washing programme. Once activated the appliance again, the display shows the end of the cycle. A B C D E Indicator bars: The empty indicator bars come on when the related functions are available with the set programme. In setting mode they fill accordingly to the function availability. F: TIME SAVE The symbol comes on when you set one of these functions: H G F - Extra quick. A: The temperature value. B: The spin speed value, No Spin and Rinse Hold function. C: The washing phase symbols. G: The EXTRA RINSE symbol comes on when this function is activated. H: The PREWASH/STAIN symbols. The indicator bar fills accordingly to the set function. D: The function symbols: STEAM DOOR LOCK - Shortened duration. DETERGENT OVERDOSING DELAY START E: The digit area: - The Washing programme duration. - The Delay Start set. - The Alarm codes (refer to the ‘Trouble shootING’ chapter. - The Err message when you make a wrong selection. - The end of the programme ( ). The OPTISENSE wash The appliance adjusts automatically the cycle time to the laundry load to have PERFECT washing results in the minimum necessary time. Activate the drain system: put 2 litre of water in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser. 2. Set and start a programme for cotton at the highest temperature without laundry to remove all possible dirt from the drum and the tub. Put a small quantity of detergent in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser. Daily Use 1. Open the water tap. To change the default values or to set functions press the corresponding buttons. 2. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket. 9. If necessary, set the delay start function. 3. Press On/Off button to activate the appliance. 4. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a time. Make sure that no laundry stays between the seal and the door. 5. Close the door. 6. Put the detergent and additives in the correct compartment of the dispenser. 7. Turn the programme knob to set a programme. The programme indicator comes on. 8. The display shows the default temperature, maximum spin speed and the empty indicator bar of the available functions. 10. Press Start/Pause button to start the washing programme. Press this button also to interrupt it. After approximately 15 minutes from the start of the programme, the display shows the new time value. 11. At the end of the programme the display shows a zero , the symbol of the last washing phase is on. The indicator of the Start/Pause button and the door lock symbol go off. 12. If you set the Rinse Hold function refer to ‘At the end of the programme’ chapter in the user manual. Extra Silent 95° - Cold White and coloured cotton items. Synthetics 60° - Cold Synthetic or mixed fabric items. Easy Iron 60° - Cold Synthetic items. Delicates 40° - Cold Delicate fabrics as acrylics, viscose, polyester items. Wool/Handwash 40° - Cold Machine washable wool and delicate fabrics with «hand washing» care symbol. Duvet AntiAllergy 60° - 30° 60° One synthetic blanket, duvet, bedspread and so on. Only white cotton items. Spin/Drain (all fabrics) / The maximum load of the laundry is related to the type of laundry. Rinse / All fabrics. Jeans 60° - Cold 20 Min. - 3 kg Super Eco Cottons Eco 40° - 30° 30° - Cold 60° - 40° All items in jeans. Jersey items made with hi-tech materials. Quick wash of sport items or cotton and synthetic items. Cottons, Synthetic and mixed fabrics. White and fast coloured cotton items with normal soil Steam - Refresh / Cotton and synthetic items that need to remove odour. Steam - Anticrease / Cotton and synthetic items that need to dewrinkle.
