Product applications
Heat detector 2318 is a conventional combination heat detector, i.e. it "gives an
alarm" at a certain fixed temperature (58°C)
and/or at a certain temperature increase
within a certain time, ("rate-of-rise").
The sensing element is a thermistor.
This conventional heat detector can be used
in the systems EBL500 / 512 / 128 / 1000 /
2000.
The detector is intended for indoor use and
in dry premises.
Product applications are small rooms where
the temperature can be expected to rise
rapidly in case of a fire or places where
smoke detectors can not be used.
