CAUTION:

Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided
for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of
the product and to protect it from over heating.
The openings should never be blocked by
placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug or other

in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or
rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the
manufacturer’s instruction has been adhered to.

the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a
soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use strong
solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or
thinner, as these might damage the
surface of the unit.
yy Do not use volatile liquids such as
insecticide spray near the unit. Wiping with
strong pressure may damage the surface.
Do not leave rubber or plastic products in
contact with the unit for a long period of
time.
yy Do not place the unit over the vehicle’s
air bag. When the air bag deploys, it may
result in injury. Before using in the car, fix
the unit.

y Do not use the handsfree function during
driving a car.
yy Do not leave the unit on an unstable place
such as high shelves. it may fall down
because of the vibration of the sound.
yy Do not use high voltage products around this
product. (ex. Electrical swatter) This product
may malfunction due to electrical shock.

environments of low humidity.
yy It may cause static electricity in environments
of low humidity.
yy It is recommended to use this product after
touching any metal object which conducts
electricity.

13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning
storms or when unused for long periods

Set up
Step 1. Connect the AC
adapter
After connecting the AC adapter, the
speaker starts booting. Then Function
LED rotates for 10 seconds (Approx. 30
~ 50 seconds) during booting.

Home" App
Step 3. Set up the
Wi-Fi connection with app
Download the Google Home App from
the Google Play or App Store.
a Connect your smart device to the
Wi-Fi network that you’ll use for
your speaker.

NOTE
The speaker is not compatible with the
“Smart ThinQ” app. So it can not be
used for setup or for control by using
the “Smart ThinQ” app.

In case of iOS devices, it should be
turned on Bluetooth setting on your
smart device.
b Launch the “Google Home” app.
c Follow the steps for Wi-Fi
connection on the app.
NOTE
When connected to Wi-Fi, this app may
request to create a Google Account.
You will need a Google account to use
this app.
d When successfully connected Wi-Fi,
blinking Function LED will be solid
white.
NOTE

Comfortable Function
“LG Wi-Fi Speaker” app is provided
by LG electronics. This App provides
more features (Sound effect etc.) on
the speaker. To Enjoy it, download “LG
Wi-Fi Speaker” app on the App Store or
Google Play.
With the Google Assistant built in, you
can control compatible smart home
devices such as TV’s, lights, switches,
plugs, thermostats and more by simply
using your voice.

Sound effect
This system has a number of pre-set
surround sound fields. You can select a
desired sound mode by using “LG Wi-Fi
Speaker” app.

Tap the Button to change functions.
Function LED will be blinking in blue.
Step 1. Connect the Wi-Fi
Make sure the speaker connects to
Wi-Fi by using “Google Home” app
(Page 9-11).
NOTE
The Bluetooth connection may not
work properly before connecting
to Wi-Fi.

speaker name
Select speaker name that is set on
“Google Home” app from phone’s
smart device list. When successfully
connected Bluetooth, Function LED will
be solid blue.
