Panduan keselamatan berikut ditujukan untuk mencegah risiko tak
terduga atau kerusakan akibat pengoperasian produk yang salah
atau tidak aman.
Panduan ini dibagi menjadi 'PERINGATAN' dan 'PERHATIAN'
seperti yang dijelaskan di bawah.
Simbol yang ditampilkan menunjukkan masalah dan
pengoperasian yang berisiko. Baca bagian dengan simbol
ini dengan cermat dan ikuti petunjuk guna menghindari
risiko.
PERINGATAN
Ini menunjukkan bahwa kegagalan mengikuti petunjuk dapat
mengakibatkan cedera serius bahkan kematian.
PERHATIAN
Ini menunjukkan bahwa kegagalan mengikuti petunjuk dapat
mengakibatkan cedera ringan atau kerusakan produk.
PETUNJUK KESELAMATAN PENTING
PERINGATAN
Guna mengurangi risiko ledakan, kebakaran, kematian,
sengatan listrik, cedera, atau melepuh akibat panas bagi orang
yang menggunakan produk ini, ikuti tindakan pencegahan
dasar, termasuk yang berikut:
Anak-anak di dalam Rumah
Alat ini tidak ditujukan untuk digunakan oleh orang (termasuk anakanak) yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik, pancaindra, atau mental, atau
orang yang kurang pengalaman serta pengetahuan, kecuali jika orang
tersebut mendapat pengawasan atau petunjuk penggunaan alat dari
orang yang bertanggung jawab atas keselamatan mereka. Anak-anak
harus diawasi guna memastikan bahwa mereka tidak bermain dengan
alat.

Pemasangan
•• Jangan pernah mencoba mengoperasikan peralatan ini jika rusak,
terdapat kesalahan fungsi, dibongkar sebagian, atau ada komponen
yang hilang atau rusak, termasuk kabel atau steker yang rusak.
•• Alat ini hanya boleh dipindahkan oleh dua orang atau lebih yang
memegang alat dengan aman.
•• Eratkan selang pembuangan untuk mencegahnya terlepas.
•• Jika kabel daya rusak atau lubang pada stopkontak longgar, jangan
gunakan kabel dan hubungi pusat layanan resmi.
•• Pastikan steker dimasukkan sepenuhnya ke stopkontak.
•• Jangan pasang alat di tempat yang lembap dan berdebu. Jangan
memasang atau menyimpan alat di luar ruangan, atau di area yang
terkena kondisi cuaca seperti sinar matahari langsung, angin, atau
hujan atau suhu di bawah titik beku.
•• Bukaan ventilasi tidak boleh terhalang oleh karpet.
•• Jangan mencolokkan alat ke stopkontak multi outlet atau kabel
ekstensi.
•• Peralatan ini harus dibumikan. Apabila terjadi kesalahan fungsi atau
kerusakan, pembumian akan mengurangi risiko sengatan listrik
dengan memberikan jalur resistansi minimal untuk arus listrik.
•• Alat ini dilengkapi kabel daya dengan konduktor arde perlengkapan
(equipment-grounding conductor) dan steker berarde. Steker harus
dicolokkan ke stopkontak yang sesuai yang dipasang dan dibumikan
sesuai dengan peraturan dan tata cara setempat.
•• Sambungan konduktor pembumian perlengkapan yang tidak benar
dapat menimbulkan risiko sengatan listrik. Hubungi teknisi listrik atau
personel servis yang memenuhi syarat jika Anda ragu apakah alat
dibumikan dengan benar.
•• Jangan mengubah kabel daya yang disediakan bersama dengan alat.

Pengoperasian
•• Jangan menggunakan benda tajam seperti bor atau jarum untuk
menekan atau memisahkan unit operasi.
•• Jaga area di bawah dan di sekitar peralatan bebas dari bahan yang
mudah terbakar seperti serat, kertas, kain, bahan kimia, dll.
•• Jangan memasukkan binatang, seperti hewan piaraan ke dalam alat.
•• Jangan membiarkan pintu peralatan terbuka. Anak-anak dapat
bergelantungan di pintu atau merayap ke dalam peralatan sehingga
menyebabkan kerusakan atau cedera.
•• Gunakan selang atau set selang baru yang disediakan bersama
peralatan. Menggunakan kembali selang lama dapat menyebabkan
kebocoran air dan kerusakan properti ke depannya.
•• Matikan keran air untuk mengurangi tekanan pada selang dan katup
dan meminimalkan kebocoran jika ada yang rusak atau pecah.
Periksa kondisi selang pengisian air; selang ini mungkin perlu diganti
setelah 5 tahun.
•• Jangan menggapai ke dalam peralatan ini selagi beroperasi. Tunggu
hingga tabung berhenti sepenuhnya.
•• Jangan memasukkan, mencuci, atau mengeringkan barang yang
sudah dibersihkan dalam, dicuci dalam, direndam dalam, dibersihkan
nodanya dengan bahan yang mudah terbakar atau meledak (seperti
lilin, penghapus lilin, minyak, cat, bensin, minyak pelumas, pelarut
dryclean, minyak tanah, bensin, penghilang noda, terpentin, minyak
sayur, minyak goreng, aseton, alkohol, dll.). Penggunaan yang tidak
tepat dapat menyebabkan kebakaran atau ledakan.
•• Apabila terjadi banjir, cabut steker dan hubungi pusat informasi
pelanggan LG Electronics.
•• Jangan menggunakan atau menyimpan zat yang mudah menyala
atau terbakar (eter, benzena, alkohol, bahan kimia, LPG, semprotan
yang mudah terbakar, insektisida, penyegar udara, kosmetik, dsb.) di
dekat alat.
•• Jika terdapat kebocoran gas (isobutana, propana, gas alam,
dll.), jangan menyentuh peralatan atau steker listrik dan segera
sirkulasikan udara.

•• Jika selang pembuangan atau selang masuknya air membeku saat
musim dingin, hanya gunakan setelah es dicairkan.
•• Jauhkan deterjen cuci, pelembut, dan pemutih dari jangkauan anakanak.
•• Jangan menyentuh steker atau kontrol alat dengan tangan yang
basah.
•• Jangan membengkokkan kabel daya secara berlebihan atau
menaruh benda yang berat di atasnya.
•• Jangan letakkan tangan, kaki Anda atau apa pun di bawah mesin
cuci sementara mesin cuci sedang beroperasi.
•• Tangan tidak boleh dimasukkan ke dalam tabung pengering yang
sedang beroperasi.
•• Pastikan saluran pembuangan bekerja dengan baik. Jika air tidak
dibuang dengan baik, lantai Anda mungkin akan kebanjiran.
•• Jika, selama berputar, membuka pintu tidak menghentikan tabung
dalam sekitar 15 detik, segera hentikan pengoperasian alat dan
hubungi dealer Anda atau pusat layanan LG Electronics.
•• Jangan menggunakan stopkontak dan perlengkapan kabel lebih dari
nilai kapasitasnya.
•• Saat suhu udara tinggi dan suhu air rendah, pengembunan mungkin
terjadi dan membasahi lantai.
•• Bersihkan kotoran atau debu pada kaki-kaki steker.
•• Pada kondisi tertentu gas hidrogen dapat diproduksi dalam
pemanas air yang tidak digunakan selama dua minggu atau lebih.
Gas hidrogen dapat meledak dalam situasi seperti ini. Jika air
PANAS belum digunakan selama dua minggu atau lebih, cegah
kemungkinan kerusakan atau cedera dengan menyalakan semua
keran air Panas dan membiarkannya untuk mengalir selama
beberapa menit. Lakukan ini sebelum menggunakan alat listrik apa
pun yang tersambung ke sistem air PANAS. Prosedur sederhana
ini akan memungkinkan setiap gas hidrogen yang menumpuk untuk
keluar. Karena gas tersebut mudah terbakar, jangan merokok atau
menggunakan api yang menyala atau alat selama proses ini.

Pemeliharaan
•• Cabut steker saat Anda membersihkan alat.
•• Colokkan steker ke stopkontak setelah benar-benar memastikan
tidak ada air dan debu.
•• Jangan menyemprotkan air ke dalam atau ke bagian luar alat untuk
membersihkannya.
•• Jangan pernah mencabut alat dengan menarik kabel daya. Selalu
pegang steker dengan kuat dan cabut keluar dari stopkontak.
•• Hanya teknisi ahli dari pusat layanan LG Electronics yang boleh
membongkar, memperbaiki, atau mengubah alat. Hubungi pusat
informasi Pelanggan LG Electronics jika Anda memindahkan dan
memasang alat ke tempat yang berbeda.
Pembuangan
•• Sebelum membuang peralatan lama, cabut stekernya. Potong kabel
tepat di belakang peralatan untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan.
•• Buang semua bahan kemasan (seperti tas plastik dan styrofoam)
dan jauhkan dari anak-anak. Bahan kemasan dapat menyebabkan
tercekik kekurangan udara.
•• Lepaskan pintu sebelum membuang peralatan ini demi menghindari
bahaya anak-anak atau hewan kecil terperangkap di dalamnya.

Pemosisian
•• Pasang alat di lantai keras dan rata.
•• Pastikan sirkulasi udara di sekitar alat tidak
terhalang karpet, keset, dsb.
•• Jangan pernah mencoba mengakali lantai yang
tidak rata dengan meletakkan sepotong kayu,
karton, atau bahan serupa di bawah alat.
•• Jika tidak mungkin untuk menghindari
meletakkan alat di sebelah kompor gas, atau
pembakar batu bara, insulasi (85x60 cm)
berlapis aluminium foil di sisi yang menghadap
kompor harus disisipkan di antara kedua alat.
•• Jangan memasang alat di ruangan tempat
suhu beku dapat terjadi. Selang yang membeku
dapat pecah di bawah tekanan. Keandalan unit
kontrol elektronik dapat terganggu pada suhu di
bawah titik beku.
•• Pastikan bahwa saat alat dipasang, mesin
mudah diakses oleh teknisi apabila terjadi
kerusakan.
•• Jika alat dikirim saat musim dingin dan suhu
di bawah titik beku, letakkan alat di ruangan
bersuhu ruang selama beberapa jam sebelum
mengoperasikannya.
PERINGATAN
•• Peralatan ini tidak dirancang untuk penggunaan
maritim atau penggunaan dengan pemasangan
bergerak, misalnya di karavan, pesawat, dsb.
Sambungan Listrik
•• Jangan menggunakan kabel sambung atau
adaptor ganda.
•• Selalu cabut steker alat dan matikan pasokan
air setelah digunakan.
•• Sambungkan alat ke soket arde sesuai dengan
peraturan tentang pengabelan yang berlaku.
•• Posisi alat harus diatur agar steker mudah
diakses.
•• Perbaikan alat hanya boleh dilakukan oleh
personel yang memenuhi syarat. Perbaikan
yang dilakukan oleh orang tak berpengalaman
dapat menyebabkan cedera atau kesalahan
fungsi berat. Hubungi pusat layanan setempat.

Menyambungkan Selang ke
Keran Air
•• Sebelum menyambungkan selang pasokan air
ke keran air, periksa jenis selang dan kemudian
pilih petunjuk yang benar.
•• Selang pasokan air yang disertakan mungkin
berbeda-beda dari satu negara ke negara
lainnya. Pastikan untuk menyambungkan selang
pasokan biru ke keran air DINGIN, dan selang
pasokan jingga ke keran air PANAS.
•• Tekanan pasokan air harus berkisar antara 30
kPa dan 800 kPa (0,3 - 8,0 kgf / cm²).
•• Jangan terlalu mengencangkan selang pasokan
air.
•• Jika tekanan pasokan air lebih dari 800 kPa,
perangkat dekompresi harus dipasang.
•• Periksa kondisi selang secara berkala dan ganti
selang jika diperlukan.

periksa suhu airnya.

•• Setelah selesai menyambung, apabila air
bocor dari selang, ulangi langkah yang sama.
Gunakan jenis keran paling konvensional untuk
pasokan air. Bila keran berbentuk persegi atau
terlalu besar, lepas Pelat pemandu sebelum
memasukkan keran ke dalam adaptor.
•• Selang pembuangan tidak boleh diletakkan
lebih tinggi dari 120 cm di atas lantai. Air di
dalam mesin cuci mungkin tidak dapat dibuang
atau terbuang dengan perlahan.
•• Memasang selang pembuangan dengan benar
akan melindungi lantai dari kerusakan akibat
kebocoran air.
•• Jika selang pembuangan terlalu panjang,
jangan paksa masuk ke dalam mesin cuci. Ini
akan menyebabkan bunyi yang tidak normal.
•• Bila memasang selang pembuangan ke
wastafel, kencangkan dengan tali.

Pemeriksaan Diagonal
Saat mendorong tepi pelat atas alat secara
diagonal, alat tidak boleh bergerak ke atas dan ke
bawah sama sekali (Periksa kedua arah). Jika alat
bergoyang saat menekan pelat atas mesin secara
diagonal, sesuaikan lagi kaki-kakinya.
CATATAN
•• Lantai jenis kayu atau gantung dapat menjadi
salah satu penyebab getaran yang berlebihan
dan ketidakseimbangan.
•• Jika Anda memasang mesin cuci di alas yang
ditinggikan, mesin cuci harus dikencangkan
dengan aman guna menghilangkan risiko mesin
terjatuh.
•• Jika mesin cuci dipasang pada lantai yang tidak
rata, lapuk atau miring, itu dapat menyebabkan
getaran yang berlebihan, kegagalan berputar
atau kesalahan "UE" terjadi. Alat harus
diletakkan pada lantai yang kokoh dan rata
untuk mencegah kegagalan berputar.

•• Tekan tombol Program (Program) berulang
kali sampai program yang diinginkan
terpilih.
Sebelum pencucian pertama, pilih program
pencucian (Normal (Normal)), dan biarkan
mesin cuci mencuci tanpa pakaian. Ini akan
membersihkan residu dan air dari tabung yang
mungkin tertinggal selama proses produksi.

Pilih program pencucian yang diinginkan.
Pilah cucian dan masukkan.
•• Sortir cucian berdasarkan jenis kain, tingkat
kekotoran, warna, dan ukuran muatan
seperlunya. Buka pintu dan masukkan
cucianke dalam mesin cuci.

Memulai program.
•• Tekan tombol START/PAUSE (MULAI/JEDA)
untuk memulai program. Mesin cuci akan
mengaduk-aduk sebentar tanpa air untuk
mengukur berat muatan. Jika tombol
START/PAUSE (MULAI/JEDA) tidak
ditekan dalam 60 menit, mesin cuci akan
mati dan semua pengaturan akan hilang.

Tambahkan produk pembersih dan/atau
deterjen serta pelembut.
•• Tambahkan deterjen dalam jumlah yang
tepat ke dalam laci dispenser deterjen. Jika
ingin, tambahkan pemutih atau pelembut
kain ke area dispenser yang sesuai.

Nyalakan mesin cuci.
•• Tekan tombol POWER (DAYA) untuk
menyalakan mesin cuci.

Akhir program.
•• Saat program selesai, akan terdengar
suatu melodi. Segera keluarkan pakaian
Anda dari mesin cuci untuk mengurangi
kekusutan.
CATATAN
•• Fungsi Mulai Ulang Otomatis memungkinkan
program untuk memulai ulang program apabila
listrik padam. Program akan dimulai lagi dari
tahap di mana program tersebut berhenti.

Perhatikan label perawatan di baju Anda.
•• Label ini memberikan informasi tentang
konten kain pakaian Anda dan cara
mencucinya.

item saja. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan
muatan tidak seimbang. Tambahkan satu
atau dua item serupa.
•• Periksa semua saku untuk memastikan
semuanya kosong. Benda seperti paku,
jepit rambut, korek, pena, koin, dan kunci
dapat merusak mesin cuci dan juga pakaian
Anda.

Normal (Normal)
Gunakan program ini untuk mencuci muatan
normal. Sensor built-innya akan mendeteksi
ukuran muatan, mengatur pengaturan pencucian,
pembilasan dan putaran yang sesuai.
•• Jika air atau cucian basah sudah berada di
dalam tabung sebelum dimulai, ketinggian air
akan ditingkatkan.
•• Untuk muatan yang besar tetapi ringan,
ketinggian air mungkin terlalu rendah dan harus
ditingkatkan secara manual.
Wool (Wol)
Gunakan program ini untuk mencuci kain yang

Connecting the Supply
Hose
•• Before connecting the water supply hose to the
water tap, check the hose type and then choose
the correct instruction.
•• The water supply hose supplied may vary from
country to country. Make sure to connect the
blue supply hose to the COLD water tap, and

Attach the hot water line to the hot water inlet on
the back of the washing machine. Attach the cold

Before connecting the drain hose, check your drain

Pump Model
•• The drain hose should not be placed higher than
120 cm above the floor. Water in the washing
machine may not drain or may drain slowly.
•• Securing the drain hose correctly will protect the
floor from damage due to water leakage.
•• If the drain hose is too long, do not force it
back into the washing machine. This will cause
abnormal noise.
•• When installing the drain hose to a sink, secure
it tightly with string.
•• After completing connection, if water leaks from
the hose, repeat the same steps. Use the most
conventional type of tap for the water supply.
In case the tap is square or too big, remove
the guide plate before inserting the tap into the

If the floor is uneven, turn the adjustable feet as

product care label on the item permits machine

Adding Cleaning Products
Detergent Dosage
•• Detergent should be used according to the
instruction of the detergent manufacturer and
selected according to type, colour, soiling of the
fabric and washing temperature.
•• If too much detergent is used, too many suds
can occur and this will result in poor washing
results or cause heavy load to the motor.
•• If you wish to use liquid detergent follow
the guidelines provided by the detergent
manufacturer.
•• You can pour liquid detergent directly into the
main detergent drawer if you are starting the
cycle immediately.
•• Do not use liquid detergent if you are using
Time Delay, or if you have selected
Pre Wash+ Normal, as the liquid may harden.
•• If too many suds occur, reduce the detergent
amount.
•• Detergent usage may need to be adjusted for
water temperature, water hardness, size and
soil level of the load. For best results, avoid
oversudsing.
•• Refer to the label of the clothes, before
choosing the detergent and water temperature.
•• When using the washing machine, use
designated detergent for each type of clothing
only:

•• Do not let the detergent harden. Doing so may
lead to blockages, poor rinse performance or
odour.

Adding Detergent
•• Follow the detergent package directions.
Using too little detergent is a common cause of
laundry problems. Use more detergent if you
have hard water, large loads, greasy or oily soils
or lower water temperature.
•• Soap flakes or granulated soap powders should
not be used in your washing machine. When
washing woolens, remember to use detergent
suitable for washing woolens.

liquid detergent into the drum might cause

Adding Liquid Bleach
•• Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Overfilling
can cause early dispensing of the fabric
softener, which may stain clothes. Close the
dispenser drawer slowly.
•• Check clothing care label for special instructions
and separate the laundry to be bleached.
•• Dilute liquid chlorine bleach.
•• Measure the recommended amount of liquid
bleach carefully following instructions on the
bottle.
•• Before starting the washing machine, pour the
measured amount of bleach directly into the
bleach dispenser. Avoid splashing or overfilling.
Powdered bleach should be mixed with water
before being poured into the dispenser.
•• Do not leave the fabric softener in the detergent
drawer for more than 2 days (Fabric softener

•• Softener will automatically be added during the
last rinse cycle.

Use this programme to wash normal loads.
The built-in sensor detects the size of the
load, calculating wash, rinse and, spin settings

before starting, the water level will be increased.
•• For lightweight bulky loads, the water level may
be too low and should be increased manually.
Wool
Use this programme to wash delicate fabrics such
as lingerie and woolens. Before washing, check
the care label for the washing instructions.
•• This programme uses a slow spin to extract
water from laundry, so the laundry has more
moisture than normal.
•• Only cold water will be used for this programme
as hot water may damage laundry.
NOTE
•• Hang or lay flat to dry your delicates.

Use this programme to wash a blanket or
bedclothes with hand wash sign.
•• Cashmere bedclothes, acrylic blanket, mixed
spinning blanket, woolen blanket, infilling
(polyester 101), and bed sheet might be
damaged by floating. Please purchase a
separate laundry net to wash.
•• Separate bed clothes from general clothes. It
might cause laundry to askew and results in
abnormal washing.
•• Spin dry might take longer to spread out laundry
if bedclothes are lumped to a side.
•• Never wash an electric blanket and a carpet. It

Using Smart Diagnosis™
Smart Diagnosis™ Through the
Customer Information Centre
Use this function if you need an accurate diagnosis
by an LG Electronics customer information center
when the appliance malfunctions or fails. Use this
function only to contact the service representative,
not during normal operation.

Care After Wash
•• If you always use COLD water, we recommend
that a WARM or HOT wash be used at regular
intervals e.g. every 5th wash should be at least
a WARM one.
•• Turn off taps to prevent the chance of flooding
should a hose burst.
•• Always unplug the power cord after use.
•• After the cycle is finished, wipe the door and the
inside of the door seal to remove any moisture.
•• Leave the door open to dry the drum interior.
•• Wipe the body of the washing machine with a
dry cloth to remove any moisture.
Cleaning the Exterior
Proper care of your washing machine can extend
its life.
Exterior:
•• Immediately wipe off any spills.
•• Wipe with a damp cloth.
•• Do not press the surface or the display with
sharp objects.

Tub Clean
Tub Clean is a special cycle to clean the inside of
the washing machine. Perform this cycle regularly.

•• Before using this programme, remove lint inside
the lint filter.
•• After using this programme, remove dirt inside
the lint filter.
•• After finishing this programme, open the
washing machine door to remove irritant odor.
•• Do not pour bleach into the tub directly. It might
cause damage to the tub.
•• Do not leave diluted oxygenated bleach inside
the tub for a long time. It might rust the tub.
Drain the remaining oxygenated water out.
•• Use this programme once a month.
•• Do not use this programme repeatedly.
•• For models without a lint filter, the lint is
discharged when the water drains during
washing. Clean 1-2 times a month using the Tub
Clean programme.
Detergent and fabric softener may build up in the
dispenser drawer. Remove the drawer and inserts
and check for buildup once or twice a month.

(Optional)
•• Turn off the supply taps to the machine if the
washing machine is to be left for any length of
time (e.g. holiday), especially if there is no floor
drain (gully) in the immediate vicinity.
•• ’ ’ error message will be displayed on the
control panel when water is not entering the
detergent drawer.
•• If water is very hard or contains traces of lime
deposit, the water inlet filter may become
clogged. It is therefore a good idea to clean it
occasionally.
The filter is an important part for an efficient
washing performance result, so it needs special
care from you. It is recommended that the filter be
cleaned regularly.

•• Clean the lint filter after using it at least 2-3
times.
•• Do not drop the filter on the floor.
•• Be careful not to have your nails caught in the

your laundry items. Do not operate the machine
with the Lint filters removed.
•• If the mesh hole of the lint filter is clogged,
foreign objects in the laundry may not be
filtered.
•• Do not leave iron objects (such as clothes pins,
hairpins, etc.), which rust easily in the lint filter.

Caution on Freezing
During Winter
•• When frozen, the product does not operate
normally. Make sure to install the product where
it will not freeze during winter.
•• In case the product must be installed outside
on a porch or in other outdoor conditions, make
sure to check the following.
