DETERGENT DISPENSER
The detergent dispenser is divided into 4 compartments:
• Compartment I, is for prewash powder detergent. The recommended quantity is
60 gm of detergent (for 4,5 kg of laundry).
• Compartment II, is for wash powder detergent. The recommended quantity is 120
gm of detergent (for 4,5 kg of laundry).
• The
compartment is for bleach. The recommended quantity is 7 cl.
• The
compartment is for fabric conditioners, scenting agents and special
additives. The recommended quantity is 5 cl.
The detergent compartment has two guidance lines:
• RECOMMENDED (lower line). This indicates the recommended level for the prewash
and wash compartments.
• MAX. This indicates the maximum level which should never be exceeded.

ACTIVE SYSTEM
The Active system owes its efficiency to its capacity to take advantage of all the force of the
water. During the washing phases the water in the drum is pumped towards an injector
located in the drum which injects a powerful water jet onto the wash. This action with an
increase of rotation speed up to 100 revolutions guarantees an optimum quality of wash
and more thorough rinsing.
This washing machine automatically adapts the water level to the type and quantity of clothes
to be washed. So it is possible to obtain a «customised» wash, even in terms of energy. This
system reduces water and energy consumption and provides an appreciable reduction in
wash time
PROGRAMME SELECTION
Select as follows:
• Check the programme table and set the desired programme using selector
(A)
• Select the options as permitted: the options available via the keys depend on
which programme is selected. If a key flashes when pressed, the options it offers are
not available. If it remains lit, they are. Options can be seen on the display (V).
• Press the Start/ Pause button. The door lock lamp will light up and the display will
show three dashes (- - -) and then the average duration of the programme selected.
After 10-15 minutes, during which time the water temperature, amount of washing,
etc. are determined, the display will show the time remaining to the end of the wash
cycle.
• Because the machine is electronic, the programme may take up to one minute to
commence. Its fuzzy logic programming technology gives this machine smart
monitoring capabilities, enabling it to adapt water levels, washing rates and spin
speeds with no further intervention by the user.
NOTE: A special memory unit stores the programme choice in case of power failure, so that
the machine will resume washing at the point where it left off when power is restored.
END OF CYCLE: At the end of the cycle the lights go out and the display reads (0 0 0). After
2 minutes, the display begins to flash. This means that the washing can be removed.
Press Start/ Pause and set the control to OFF.

USE OF THE SELECTION CONTROLS
D. SUPER FAST BUTTON
This function decreases programme time to a maximum of 50 minutes,
depending on the programme and wash temperature selected. The Super Fast button can be used with loads of 1 – 4.5 kg, but only with cotton
and mixed/ synthetics programmes.
E. ACTIVA RINSE BUTTON
This button engages a rinse function with high water levels and repeated
filling/ emptying combined with drum rotation cycles to ensure a perfect
rinse. Its use is recommended for children’s clothes or highly soiled clothing
requiring more washing powder than usual, and for fabrics whose fibres
have a tendency to retain washing products.
F. EASY IRON BUTTON
This button works in all programmes except the cotton programme, the
32-minute cycle and the Mix & Wash System.

works in different ways with different programmes.
In cotton programmes the machine stops on the last rinse, leaving the clothes soaking. To
spin clothes and complete the programme, press the button again to release it.
In mixed/ synthetics programmes this button cuts out the intermediate spins and runs the
final spin at low speed to minimise twisting of clothes.

clothes soaking. To spin clothes and complete the programme, press the button again to
release it.
To empty the machine only:
- Press Start/ Pause.
