This knob selects the final spin speed. To select a speed, press down and turn until the desired speed coincides with the selector mark. The final spin cycle reaches the maximum speed selected in non-delicate programmes. The middle and final spin cycles for mixed, synthetics and delicate programmes is carried out at 400 r.p.m. If you do not want a spin cycle, coincide the spin exclusion symbol with the selector mark. THE KNOB CAN BE TURNED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. 23 24 TABLE OF PROGRAMMES MAX. SEL. LOAD PROG. The washing machine is designed to incorporate fabric softener automatically in the last rinse of each washing cycle. RAPID 32 MINUTE PROGRAMME The rapid 32 minute programme enables a complete washing cycle for a maximum 2 kg wash at a temperature of 50°C to be carried out in 30 minutes. The temperature of the wash can be reduced via the temperature selector knob. The soap powder must be loaded into the pre-wash dispenser (compartment I). The maximum amount of soap powder which can be used for this programme is indicated by the 32 minute mark in the dispenser. The rapid 32 minute programme can also be used as a pre-wash cycle in the case of a heavily soiled wash, following with the main programme as desired. — *, according to EN 60456 Regulations The first program in each group is the longest and thus ensures the most effective wash at a given temperature. The other programs should be selected for clothes which are only lightly solied or are particularly delicate. 25 26
