Garmin Nexus Correct Resistor for Rudder
How to get correct value of the resistor to the linear RAT, depending
on the angle of the rudder and the length of the tiller arm.
In the table below you will find (from left to right): Which length of the tiller arm you can use, which maximum
rudder angle you will get, which exact value of the resistor it will be with the specific rudder angle, which value
of the resistor that is a standard resistor, which maximum rudder angle you will get if using a standard
resistor value. The last column, “Part No. Elfa”, is a part number to a Swedish company selling the resistors.
The rudder angle transducers impedance is 11,9 kΩ
Ω.
