Frequently asked questions

Follow the First Charge Procedure in the 'Getting Started' section of the manual. Make sure to fully charge the battery for the first time, even if it turns green before 24 hours.

Follow the steps in the 'How To Go From One Function Set To Another' section. Unscrew the tail cap slightly, press and hold the switch button, screw the tail cap back in, and release the switch button after the desired number of blinks.

Follow the steps in the 'How To Fine-Adjust The Flashlight’s Beam Alignment' section. Unlock the skirt, slide it down, focus the light to the tightest spot, adjust the alignment ring for optimal beam centering, and lock the skirt back in place.

A fully depleted battery should fully recharge in about 2 hours. The battery life will vary depending on the light setting and how often it is used. Remember to train the battery’s memory after many charge and discharge cycles. If you expect a long period of non-use, you need to protect your battery from ‘deep discharge’ damage.

A blinking red light indicates one of three fault conditions: (1) Battery has been inserted backwards; (2) Cradle and/or battery exceeds maximum charging temperature; (3) Cradle and/or battery below minimum charging temperature.

A steady green LED light means the charging cradle is connected to AC power and ready to accept a battery. When a battery is first inserted, a green LED light indicates that the battery was inserted before the cradle was plugged in. A green LED light after some time means that the battery is approaching full charge.
