can cause minimal side effects, and the effects and safety of the
device are verified by an external qualified agency, so the device
is safe to use.
y However, in the case of people who have serious diseases or
who are under treatment, please consult your doctor before use.
y Regardless of product use, the condition of your skin may
change temporarily due to the change of season and external
elements. In addition, internal factors such as drinking or stress
can change the condition of skin. If the condition of skin
changes, discontinue use. We recommend using the device after
the skin condition returns to a normal state or after consulting

y If you had thyroid-related diseases or if you are under treatment,

“Can I open my eyes when I use this
mask? ”
Although the eye shield (eye protection guide) is applied to prevent
the LED light from being used, it is recommended that you close your
eyes as much as possible because some LED light may be generated
depending on the user.

-- The intense pulse light RED / IR LED is transferred from the surface
to the skin. It helps to improve elasticity and tone.

Mask Band Wearing Guide (Optional)
If the Derma LED mask is not to fit into your face tightly, Wear the
Derma LED mask by using a supplied mask band.
Combine the mask band as shown below.
For the attaching method detail, refer to the How to combine mask
band.

How to combine mask band
1. Put on the mask band on one side of each eye frame's leg.
Attach the band to the Derma LED mask as shown below.

2. Put in the mask band in the same way on the other eye frame's
leg.
3. Reattach a velcro of the mask band to match the head
circumference and fix it.
,,Note
If you feel pressure during band wear, loosen the band.
When using the mask in a lying position, it is recommended that
use the mask without wearing the mask band.

How to use the unit
Instructions
1. Apply the appropriate lotion to your skin.
2. Connect the cable of Derma LED Mask to controller port.

Before using the unit, make sure that the controller is sufficiently
charged.

3. Turn on by pressing the 1 (Power) button.
4. Wear the Derma LED Mask as if wearing eye glasses.
Make sure that the eye shield completely covers your eyes for
preventing LED lights from entering your eyes. Only when properly
worn, LED care is started.
>>Caution
yy Do not stare at operating LED within hazard distances.
yy Use the Derma LED Mask after taking off your glasses.

5. Press the N (Start/Pause) button to begin skincare routine.
LED Mask Care is started and a voice guide is provided.

If it does not work after wearing the mask, please let your skin
close adhere to the proximity sensor in the middle of the wearing
part.

Relax with the Derma LED Mask in place for the 9 minutes.
During the care time, voice guide is provided every 3 minutes to
notice the remaining time. As shown below, the LED lights up in
orange corresponding to the remaining time.

skin care, the voice guide will feedback remaining skin care time.
(Voice guidance is provided for the remaining time only in voice
guide mode except Sound effect guide / Guide off (Mute) mode.)
7. The LEDs in the mask and the controller are turn off automatically
after 9 minutes. Voice guide announces the end of skin care.

If you need to turn the Derma LED Mask off during skin care,
press the 1 button shortly.

8. Insert the controller into the cradle and mount the Derma LED
Mask after wrapping the cable around the controller.
,,Note
Recommend using the product once a day. Using more than
twice a day may cause burning sensation on skin.

Pause and restart during skin care
1. If you want to pause while skincare is in progress, Press the
N (Play/Pause) button or take off the Derma LED Mask.
The LEDs in the mask will be turned off and paused.
During pause, the LED of the controller is blinking in orange
corresponding to the remaining time.

2. To restart the skin care, put on the mask again and press the
N (Play/Pause) button. From the remaining time you can
continue your skin care.
3. The unit will turn off automatically after the care time is finished.

Charging the battery
Charging
Charge the battery enough before using the unit.

yy Always use the provided charging adapter.
yy Using other charging adapters may cause malfunction and can
not be repaired.

1. Connect the charging adapter using USB cable.
2. Connect USB cable to the charging cradle.
3. Connect the charging adapter to the power outlet.
4. Charging is started, when you connect the controller into the
charging pins of charging cradle. Refer to checking the charging
status and Checking battery status regarding the charging
status of battery. (33 - 34 Page)

yy This unit can be used during charging.
yy You can charge the unit to USB port (for charging) on the
bottom of unit.
yy After the battery is fully charged, unplug the power to save
energy.
yy The unit can be charged with a secondary battery with a
current output of 1 A and more at 5 V voltage.
yy Keep the charging pins of unit free of moisture. Moisture can
cause the charging pins to corrode.

Checking the charging status
When you place the unit on the
charging cradle, you can check the
charge status of the battery through
the battery status LED.

Checking battery status
When you disconnect the controller from the charging cradle, you can
check the charge status of the battery through the battery status
LED.
If the power turned on, you can check the charging status by pressing
1(power) button.
The battery status LED will change depending on the battery
charging status.

The battery is low and needs to be charged.
“Battery is low.” An voice guidance or sound effect
is provided and the red LED blinks. Then the power
is automatically turned off.

then disappears.

If you set the voice guidance function to mute, the unit doesn’t

How to keep (manage) the Derma LED Mask
If the area touching the face gets dirty, wipe it by using a cloth
dampened with water or a wet tissue, and keep it in a cool and dry
place.

Maintenance
Handling the Unit
When shipping the unit
Please save the original shipping carton and packing materials. If you
need to ship the unit, for maximum protection, re-pack the unit as it
was originally packed at the factory.
Keeping the exterior surfaces clean
yy Do not use volatile liquids such as insecticide spray near the unit.
yy Wiping with strong pressure may damage the surface.
yy Do not leave rubber or plastic products in contact with the unit for
a long period of time.
Cleaning the unit
To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. If the surface is too dirty, use a
soft cloth with water or a wet tissue.
Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinner, as
these might damage the surface of the unit.

Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from over
heating. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product
on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. This product shall not
be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless
proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instruction has
been adhered to.
NOTICE: For safety marking information including product
identification and supply ratings, please refer to the main label on the
bottom or the other surface of the product.
1. The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children aged

CAUTION concerning the Power Cord
The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency,
the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.
Check the specification page of this owner’s manual to be certain of
the current requirements.
Do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded wall outlets, loose or
damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, or
damaged or cracked wire insulation are dangerous. Any of these
conditions could result in electric shock or fire. Periodically examine
the cord of your device, and if its appearance indicates damage or
deterioration, unplug it, discontinue use of the device, and have
the cord replaced with an exact replacement part by an authorized
service center. Protect the power cord from physical or mechanical
abuse, such as being twisted, kinked, pinched, closed in a door, or
walked upon. Pay particular attention to plugs, wall outlets, and the
point where the cord exits the device.
CAUTION: Only use the AC adapter supplied with this device. Do not
use a power supply from another device or another manufacturer.

For models using a battery
This device is equipped with a portable battery or accumulator.
How to Safely remove the batteries or the battery pack from
the equipment: To Remove the old batteries or battery pack, follow
the assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent contamination of
the environment and bring on possible threat to human and/or
animal health, the old batteries or the battery pack must be put
in an appropriate container at designated collection points. Do not
dispose of batteries or battery pack together with other waste. It
is recommended that you use local, free reimbursement systems
batteries or battery packs, (may not be available in your area). The
batteries or the battery pack should not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Precautions for use
POWER: This unit operates on a mains supply of
100 - 240 V ~ 50 / 60 Hz.
Wiring: This unit is supplied with a BS 1363 approved main plug.
When replacing the fuse, always use a fuse of the same rating
and approved to BS 1362. Never use this plug with the fuse cover
omitted. To obtain a replacement fuse cover contact your dealer. If
the type of plug supplied is not suitable for the mains sockets in your
home, then the plug should be removed and a suitable type fitted.
Please refer to the wiring instructions below:
Warning: A mains plug removed from the mains lead of this unit
must be destroyed. A mains plug with bared wires is hazardous if
inserted in a mains socket. Do not connect either wire to the earth
pin, marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol 6 or coloured
green or green and yellow. If any other plug is fitted, use same rating
of fuse in the plug.
Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following codes:
- BLUE: NEUTRAL, BROWN: LIVE - As the colours of the wires in
the mains lead of this unit may not correspond with the coloured
marking identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is
coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.

drain or sink or place it in a place where it may fall into water
