ALWAYS OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING

Do not open (or modify in any way) the unit or its
AC adaptor.
Do not attempt to repair the unit, or replace
parts within it (except when this manual provides
specific instructions directing you to do so). Refer
all servicing to your retailer, the nearest Roland
Service Center, or an authorized Roland distributor,
as listed on the “Information” page.
Never install the unit in any of the following
locations.
• Subject to temperature extremes (e.g., direct
sunlight in an enclosed vehicle, near a heating
duct, on top of heat-generating equipment);
or are
• Damp (e.g., baths, washrooms, on wet floors);
or are
• Exposed to steam or smoke; or are
• Subject to salt exposure; or are
• Humid; or are
• Exposed to rain; or are
• Dusty or sandy; or are
• Subject to high levels of vibration and
shakiness.
Make sure you always have the unit placed so
it is level and sure to remain stable. Never place
it on stands that could wobble, or on inclined
surfaces.
Be sure to use only the AC adaptor supplied
with the unit. Also, make sure the line voltage
at the installation matches the input voltage
specified on the AC adaptor’s body. Other AC
adaptors may use a different polarity, or be
designed for a different voltage, so their use
could result in damage, malfunction, or electric
shock.
Use only the attached power-supply cord. Also,
the supplied power cord must not be used
with any other device.
Do not excessively twist or bend the power
cord, nor place heavy objects on it. Doing
so can damage the cord, producing severed
elements and short circuits. Damaged cords
are fire and shock hazards!
This unit, either alone or in combination with
an amplifier and headphones or speakers,
may be capable of producing sound levels
that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do
not operate for a long period of time at a high
volume level, or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or
ringing in the ears, you should immediately
stop using the unit, and consult an audiologist.
Do not allow any objects (e.g., flammable
material, coins, pins); or liquids of any kind
(water, soft drinks, etc.) to penetrate the unit.

WARNING
Immediately turn the power off, remove the AC
adaptor from the outlet, and request servicing
by your retailer, the nearest Roland Service
Center, or an authorized Roland distributor, as
listed on the “Information” page when:
• The AC adaptor, the power-supply cord, or the
plug has been damaged; or
• If smoke or unusual odor occurs
• Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been
spilled onto the unit; or
• The unit has been exposed to rain (or otherwise
has become wet); or
• The unit does not appear to operate normally
or exhibits a marked change in performance.
In households with small children, an adult
should provide supervision until the child is
capable of following all the rules essential for
the safe operation of the unit.
Protect the unit from strong impact.
(Do not drop it!)
Do not force the unit’s power-supply cord to
share an outlet with an unreasonable number
of other devices. Be especially careful when
using extension cords---the total power used
by all devices you have connected to the
extension cord’s outlet must never exceed the
power rating (watts/amperes) for the extension
cord. Excessive loads can cause the insulation
on the cord to heat up and eventually melt
through.
Before using the unit in a foreign country,
consult with your retailer, the nearest Roland
Service Center, or an authorized Roland
distributor, as listed on the “Information” page.
Batteries must never be recharged, heated,
taken apart, or thrown into fire or water.
Never expose Battery to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
CAUTION
The unit and the AC adaptor should be located
so their location or position does not interfere
with their proper ventilation.
Always grasp only the plug on the AC adaptor
cord when plugging into, or unplugging from,
an outlet or this unit.
At regular intervals, you should unplug the AC
adaptor and clean it by using a dry cloth to
wipe all dust and other accumulations away
from its prongs. Also, disconnect the power
plug from the power outlet whenever the unit
is to remain unused for an extended period of
time. Any accumulation of dust between the
power plug and the power outlet can result in
poor insulation and lead to fire.
CAUTION
Try to prevent cords and cables from becoming
entangled. Also, all cords and cables should be
placed so they are out of the reach of children.
Never climb on top of, nor place heavy objects
on the unit.
Never handle the AC adaptor or its plugs with
wet hands when plugging into, or unplugging
from, an outlet or this unit.
Before moving the unit, disconnect the AC
adaptor and all cords coming from external
devices.
Before cleaning the unit, turn off the power
and unplug the AC adaptor from the outlet
(p. 4).
Whenever you suspect the possibility of
lightning in your area, disconnect the AC
adaptor from the outlet.
If used improperly, batteries may explode
or leak and cause damage or injury. In the
interest of safety, please read and observe the
following precautions (p. 4).
• Carefully follow the installation instructions
for batteries, and make sure you observe the
correct polarity.
• Avoid using new batteries together with used
ones. In addition, avoid mixing different types
of batteries.
• Remove the batteries whenever the unit is to
remain unused for an extended period of time.
• If a battery has leaked, use a soft piece of cloth
or paper towel to wipe all remnants of the
discharge from the battery compartment. Then
install new batteries. To avoid inflammation of
the skin, make sure that none of the battery
discharge gets onto your hands or skin.
Exercise the utmost caution so that none of
the discharge gets near your eyes. Immediately
rinse the affected area with running water if any
of the discharge has entered the eyes.
• Never keep batteries together with metallic
objects such as ballpoint pens, necklaces,
hairpins, etc.
Used batteries must be disposed of in compliance with whatever regulations for their safe
disposal that may be observed in the region in
which you live.
Do not remove the speaker grille and speaker
by any means. Speaker not user replaceable.
Shock hazardous voltages and currents are
present inside the enclosure.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• When installing or replacing batteries, always turn off the power on
this unit and disconnect any other devices you may have connected.
This way, you can prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or
other devices.
• Before connecting this unit to other devices, turn off the power to all
units. This will help prevent malfunctions and/or damage to speakers
or other devices.
Placement
• Using the unit near power amplifiers (or other equipment containing
large power transformers) may induce hum. To alleviate the problem,
change the orientation of this unit; or move it farther away from the
source of interference.
• This device may interfere with radio and television reception. Do not
use this device in the vicinity of such receivers.
• Noise may be produced if wireless communications devices, such as
cell phones, are operated in the vicinity of this unit. Such noise could
occur when receiving or initiating a call, or while conversing. Should
you experience such problems, you should relocate such wireless
devices so they are at a greater distance from this unit, or switch them
off.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, place it near devices that
radiate heat, leave it inside an enclosed vehicle, or otherwise subject
it to temperature extremes. Also, do not allow lighting devices that
normally are used while their light source is very close to the unit (such
as a piano light), or powerful spotlights to shine upon the same area
of the unit for extended periods of time. Excessive heat can deform or
discolor the unit.
• For everyday cleaning wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth or one that
has been slightly dampened with water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a
cloth impregnated with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Afterwards, be
sure to wipe the unit thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid
the possibility of discoloration and/or deformation.
Additional Precautions
• Use a reasonable amount of care when using the unit’s buttons, sliders,
or other controls; and when using its jacks and connectors. Rough
handling can lead to malfunctions.
• When connecting / disconnecting all cables, grasp the connector
itself—never pull on the cable. This way you will avoid causing shorts,
or damage to the cable’s internal elements.
• To avoid disturbing your neighbors, try to keep the unit’s volume at
reasonable levels. You may prefer to use headphones, so you do not
need to be concerned about those around you (especially when it is
late at night).
• When you need to transport the unit, package it in the box (including
padding) that it came in, if possible. Otherwise, you will need to use
equivalent packaging materials.
• Some connection cables contain resistors. Do not use cables that
incorporate resistors for connecting to this unit. The use of such cables
can cause the sound level to be extremely low, or impossible to hear.
For information on cable specifications, contact the manufacturer of
the cable.

• The AC adaptor will begin to generate heat after long hours of
consecutive use. This is normal, and is not a cause for concern.

by an electrical appliance that is controlled by an inverter (such as a
refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, or air conditioner), or
that contains a motor. Depending on the way in which the electrical
appliance is used, power supply noise may cause this unit to malfunction or may produce audible noise. If it is not practical to use a separate
electrical outlet, connect a power supply noise filter between this unit
and the electrical outlet.

Connecting the Power
The AC-33 can be operated using either an AC adaptor or batteries. Use the type of power that’s appropriate for your situation.

Removing the battery case
Although it is possible to replace the batteries without removing the
battery case, battery replacement will be easier if you remove the
battery case.

* We recommend that you keep batteries installed in the unit even
though you’ll be powering it with the AC adaptor. That way, you’ll be
able to continue a performance even if the cord of the AC adaptor
gets accidently disconnected from the unit.
* To prevent malfunction and speaker damage, make sure to switch
off the AC-33’s power before you insert or replace its batteries, and
before connecting it to other devices.
* Take care that no metal object touches the contacts of the battery
case. This can short-circuit the batteries, causing the case to
overheat or burn.
About batteries
Batteries that can be used
The AC-33 uses eight AA alkaline or nickel-metal hydride batteries.
* Nickel-metal hydride batteries cannot be recharged by the AC-33
itself. You’ll need to use a commercially available battery manufacturer.
* When using nickel-metal hydride batteries, please be aware that the
battery life will normally shorten each time they are recharged.
Caution regarding batteries
• Insert the batteries as directed, taking care to observe the correct polarity (+/- orientation).
• Do not mix new and used batteries, or batteries of different types.
• Carefully read and observe the cautions and handling instructions that accompany the batteries.
When using nickel-metal hydride batteries, you must use the charger that is specified by the battery manufacturer.
• Remove the batteries if you won’t be using the unit for several months.
• If any electrolyte leaks from a battery, use a dry cloth to carefully wipe off any electrolyte that might be on the battery case, and then install new
batteries. Battery electrolyte that contacts your skin may cause a rash. Battery electrolyte is hazardous to your eyes; if any electrolyte gets into
your eyes, flush them immediately with water.
• Do not carry or store batteries together with metallic objects such as pens, necklaces, or hairpins.

Producing Sound
Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your
various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the
wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers
and other devices.
Make sure that the power to all equipment is turned off.

Connect your external equipment.

Set each of the AC-33’s [VOLUME] knobs and the [MASTER]
knob to 0.
4.
Switch on the power to any external equipment connected
to the AUX IN jacks.
5.
Switch on the AC-33’s power.

Connect your guitar, and switch on the AC-33’s power.
Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack of the GUITAR CHANNEL.
Any guitar that has a pickup can be connected.
If your guitar has a pickup as well as a built-in preamp, you can also
connect it to the MIC/LINE CHANNEL.

Set the [VOLUME] knob of the input you’re using to the 5
position (center).

While producing sound, use the [MASTER] knob to adjust the
volume.
Switch on any equipment connected to the LINE OUT jack.
To turn the power off, reverse these steps.
NOTE
• Always make sure to have the volume level turned down before
switching on power. Even with the volume all the way down, you
may still hear some sound when the power is switched on, but this
is normal, and does not indicate a malfunction.
Adjusting the tone
1.
Use the [BASS] (low range), [MIDDLE] (mid range), and
[TREBLE] (high range) knobs of the desired channel to adjust
the tone.

• If you’re operating the AC-33 only on batteries, the POWER indicator
will become dim as the batteries run low.
When the batteries run even lower, the POWER indicator will blink.
Replace the batteries as soon as possible.

Adjusting the tone

Use the [BASS] (low range), and [TREBLE] (high range) knobs
of the desired channel to adjust the tone.
If headphones are connected, sound will not be output from the
AC-33’s speakers.
Applying an effect
1.
Reverb/Ambience
Set each channel’s [CHORUS] switch to the WIDE or SPACE
position.
WIDE
This is a stereo chorus that processes the three bands
independently.
By applying band-appropriate chorusing to each of the low,
mid, and high-frequency bands, this effect creates a deep and
spacious chorusing that is appropriate for the sound of an
acoustic guitar.
The low range remains firmly localized in the center, and the
sound will become more spacious as you go from the mid to the
high range.
SPACE
This is a chorus that mixes the sounds in the air, a method that
is possible only with a stereo system. On the AC-33, the effect
sound is emitted by the right speaker (as you face the unit), and
the direct sound is emitted by the left speaker. The chorus effect
is produced as the sound from the left and right speakers is
mixed in the air.
Compared to an electrically mixed chorus effect, this effect
has a broader left/right spread and a more natural-sounding
spaciousness.

No chorus effect will be applied.

Use the [REVERB/AMBIENCE] knob to adjust the amount of
effect.
REVERB
This is a stereo reverb that was developed specifically for
acoustic instruments and produces a spacious and natural
sound. The position of the knob adjusts the volume of the
reverb.
AMBIENCE
This effect adds spatial depth. It produces a broader sound
field and a sense of presence.
The position of the knob adjusts the volume and depth of the
ambience.
REVERB

Chorus
The left half of the knob’s range applies reverb, and the right half
applies ambience.
Turning the knob toward the right will deepen the effect.

About foot switches
If you use a foot switch (BOSS FS-5U or FS-6; sold separately) you’ll be able to turn chorus on/off and reverb/ambience on/off with your foot.
If a foot switch is connected, the pedal(s) will operate as follows.
If you use a phone plug (mono) cable to connect only one foot switch,
it will only turn chorus on/off.
Chorus on/off operations apply in common to the GUITAR CHANNEL
and the MIC/LINE CHANNEL.

Playing back the phrase
This function lets you record a phrase you perform, and then play it
back repeatedly. You can also overdub additional phrases onto the
recording.
On the AC-33, this is called the Looper function.

The AC-33’s memory can record a phrase approximately 40 seconds
long. When you reach the maximum recording time, recording will
stop automatically and playback will start.

Anti Feedback Function
Turn the [ANTI-FEEDBACK] switch ON.
The anti-feedback function will be applied to the
microphone or guitar connected to the GUITAR
CHANNEL and MIC/LINE CHANNEL inputs.
What is acoustic feedback?
This is an unpleasant oscillation (a whine, buzz, or howl) that occurs
when the output from a speaker is re-input to a microphone or pickup,
amplified, and output again from the speaker.
This is more likely to occur when you point the microphone at a
speaker or raise the volume to a high level.

What is the anti-feedback function?
This function suppresses the acoustic feedback that can occur
between a guitar or microphone and the amp. It does this by attenuating the sound in the frequency range at which feedback is occurring.
Feedback will be suppressed automatically when you use the
anti-feedback function.

Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät immer
waagerecht und stabil steht. Platzieren Sie es
nicht auf wackeligen Ständern oder schiefen
Flächen.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich den im
Lieferumfang des Geräts enthaltenen
Netzadapter. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzspannung am Aufstellungsort mit der auf dem
Netzadapter angegebenen Eingangsspannung
übereinstimmt. Andere Netzadapter haben
möglicherweise eine andere Polarität oder
sind auf eine andere Spannung ausgelegt. Ihre
Verwendung kann deshalb eine Beschädigung,
Fehlfunktion oder einen elektrischen Schlag
zur Folge haben.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das angeschlossene Netzkabel. Außerdem darf das
mitgelieferte Netzkabel nicht für ein anderes
Gerät eingesetzt werden.
Verdrehen oder biegen Sie das Netzkabel nicht
zu stark, und stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Kabel. Dadurch kann das Kabel
beschädigt werden, was zu Unterbrechungen
und Kurzschlüssen führen kann. Schadhafte
Kabel können Brände und elektrische Schläge
verursachen!
Dieses Gerät kann einzeln oder in Kombination
mit einem Verstärker und Kopfhörern oder
Lautsprechern Schallpegel erzeugen, die zu
dauerhaftem Gehörverlust führen können.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht über längere Zeit
mit hoher oder unangenehmer Lautstärke.
Sobald Sie eine Beeinträchtigung Ihres Gehörs
oder ein Klingeln in den Ohren bemerken,
sollten Sie den Betrieb des Geräts sofort
einstellen und sich an einen HNO-Arzt wenden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass weder Gegenstände
(z. B. leicht entzündliches Material, Münzen,
Nadeln) noch Flüssigkeiten jeglicher Art
(Wasser, Getränke usw.) in das Gerät gelangen.

Wenn einer der folgenden Fälle eintritt, ziehen
Sie den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose, und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler, ein
Roland-Service-Center in Ihrer Nähe oder an
einen der autorisierten Roland-Vertriebspartner,
die auf der Seite „Informationen“ aufgeführt sind:
• Der Netzadapter, das Netzkabel oder der
Stecker wurde beschädigt
• Rauch oder ein ungewöhnlicher Geruch tritt auf
• Gegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten sind in das
Gerät gelangt
• Das Gerät war Regen (oder sonstiger
Feuchtigkeit) ausgesetzt
• Das Gerät scheint nicht normal zu funktionieren
oder seine Leistung weist eine deutliche

In Haushalten mit Kleinkindern sollte ein
Erwachsener anwesend sein und den Betrieb
überwachen, bis das Kind alle wesentlichen
Regeln beachten kann, die für den sicheren
Betrieb des Geräts unerlässlich sind.
VORSICHT
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Kabel und Leitungen
nicht durcheinander geraten. Achten Sie
zudem darauf, dass sich alle Kabel und
Leitungen außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern befinden.
Steigen Sie niemals auf das Gerät, und stellen
Sie keine schweren Gegenstände darauf ab.
Fassen Sie den Netzadapter niemals mit nassen
Händen an, wenn Sie ihn in eine Steckdose
oder das Gerät stecken oder herausziehen.
Bevor Sie das Gerät bewegen, trennen Sie
die Verbindung des Netzadapters mit der
Steckdose sowie aller weiteren Kabel mit
externen Geräten.
Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, schalten Sie es
aus, und ziehen Sie den Netzadapter aus der
Steckdose (S. 4).
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor starken Stößen.
(Lassen Sie es nicht fallen!)
Bei angekündigtem oder heraufziehendem
Gewitter sollten Sie immer den Netzadapter
aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Betreiben Sie den Netzadapter nicht zusammen
mit einer zu großen Anzahl von Geräten an einer
einzigen Netzsteckdose. Seien Sie besonders
vorsichtig beim Einsatz von Verlängerungskabeln.
Die Gesamtleistung aller an der Verlängerung
betriebenen Geräte darf die für das Verlängerungskabel angegebene zulässige Leistung
(Watt-/Ampère-Zahl) nicht überschreiten.
Übermäßige Last kann dazu führen, dass sich die
Isolierung erhitzt und ggf. schmilzt.
Bei falscher Handhabung können Batterien
explodieren oder auslaufen und Schäden
oder Verletzungen verursachen. Lesen und
beachten Sie daher im Interesse der Sicherheit
die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen (S. 4).
Bevor Sie das Gerät in einem anderen
Land betreiben, wenden Sie sich an Ihren
Fachhändler, ein Roland-Service-Center in
Ihrer Nähe oder an einen der autorisierten
Roland-Vertriebspartner, die auf der Seite
„Informationen“ aufgeführt sind.
Sie dürfen Batterien niemals neu aufladen,
erhitzen, in ihre Einzelteile zerlegen oder in
Feuer oder Wasser werfen.
Setzen Sie eine Batterie niemals übermäßiger

VORSICHT
Das Gerät und der Netzadapter sollten so
aufgestellt werden, dass deren Aufstellort
oder -position nicht die erforderliche Belüftung

Fassen Sie das Netzkabel des Netzadapters
immer am Stecker an, wenn Sie diesen in eine
Steckdose oder in das Gerät stecken oder
herausziehen.
Sie sollten den Netzadapter in regelmäßigen
Abständen aus der Steckdose herausziehen
und die Kontakte am Stecker mit einem
trockenen Tuch von Staub und anderen
Ablagerungen befreien. Ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker auch dann aus der Steckdose,
wenn das Gerät längere Zeit außer Betrieb
ist. Jegliche Staubansammlung zwischen
Netzstecker und Steckdose kann die Isolierung
beeinträchtigen und zu Bränden führen.
• Befolgen Sie sorgfältig die Anweisungen zum
Einlegen der Batterien. Achten Sie dabei genau
auf die richtige Polarität.
• Vermeiden Sie es, neue Batterien zusammen
mit alten bzw. gebrauchten Batterien zu
verwenden. Vermeiden Sie außerdem die
Verwendung unterschiedlicher Batterietypen.
• Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät
heraus, wenn dieses längere Zeit außer
Betrieb ist.
• Wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist, wischen Sie
Rückstände der ausgelaufenen Flüssigkeit mit
einem weichen Tuch oder einem
Papiertaschentuch aus dem Batteriefach.
Legen Sie dann neue Batterien ein. Um
Hautentzündungen zu vermeiden, achten Sie
darauf, dass keine Batterieflüssigkeit auf Ihre
Hände oder Haut gelangt. Achten Sie äußerst
genau darauf, dass die Batterieflüssigkeit nicht
in die Nähe Ihrer Augen gelangt. Spülen Sie den
betroffenen Bereich sofort unter fließendem
Wasser aus, falls Batterieflüssigkeit in die Augen
gelangt sein sollte.
• Bewahren Sie Batterien nicht zusammen
mit metallischen Gegenständen wie
Kugelschreibern, Halsketten, Haarnadeln
usw. auf.
Gebrauchte Batterien müssen gemäß den
Bestimmungen für die sichere Entsorgung
entsorgt werden, die in Ihrer Region gelten.
Entfernen Sie auf keinen Fall die Lautsprecherabdeckung oder den Lautsprecher. Der
Lautsprecher darf nicht durch den Benutzer
ausgetauscht werden. Innerhalb des Gehäuses
treten Ströme und Spannungen auf, die zu
elektrischen Schlägen führen können.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE
• Schalten Sie alle beteiligten Geräte aus, bevor Sie dieses Gerät an
andere Geräte anschließen. Auf diese Weise können Sie Fehlfunktionen
und/oder Schäden an den Lautsprechern oder anderen Geräten
vermeiden.
Aufstellung
• Der Einsatz des Geräts in der Nähe von Leistungsverstärkern (oder
anderen Geräten mit großen Transformatoren) kann ein Brummen
verursachen. Um dieses Problem zu umgehen, ändern Sie die
Ausrichtung dieses Geräts, oder stellen Sie es in größerer Entfernung
zur Störquelle auf.
• Dieses Gerät kann den Empfang von Radio- und Fernsehsignalen

• Wenn Sie Kabel anschließen oder abziehen, fassen Sie das Kabel
immer am Stecker an – ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel. Auf diese
Weise vermeiden Sie Kurzschlüsse oder Schäden an inneren
Kabelbestandteilen.

im Originalkarton (einschließlich des Verpackungsmaterials), in dem
es geliefert wurde. Anderenfalls sollten Sie versuchen, ähnliches
Packmaterial zu verwenden.
• Einige Anschlusskabel enthalten Widerstände. Verwenden Sie für
Anschlüsse an diesem Gerät keine Kabel mit Widerständen. Die
Verwendung solcher Kabel kann dazu führen, dass der Signalpegel
sehr niedrig oder sogar unhörbar ist. Informationen zu den

* Wir empfehlen Ihnen, auch dann Batterien im Gerät installiert zu

versehentlich von der Stromversorgung getrennt wird.
* Um eine Fehlfunktion oder eine Beschädigung der Lautsprecher
zu verhindern, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie den AC-33 von der
Stromversorgung trennen, bevor Sie Batterien einlegen oder
austauschen und bevor Sie ihn an andere Geräte anschließen.
* Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Objekt aus Metall in Berührung mit den
Kontakten im Batteriefach kommt. Dies kann einen Kurzschluss der

Informationen zu Batterien
Zulässige Batterien
Für den AC-33 werden acht AA Alkali-Batterien oder
Nickel-Metallhydridakkus benötigt.
* Nickel-Metallhydridakkus können nicht vom AC-33 aufgeladen werden.
Hierzu ist ein handelsübliches Akku-Ladegerät erforderlich.
* Wenn Sie Nickel-Metallhydridakkus verwenden, sollten Sie beachten,
dass sich deren Lebensdauer mit jedem Ladevorgang verkürzt.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen beim Umgang mit Batterien und Akkus
• Legen Sie die Batterien wie angegeben ein. Achten Sie dabei insbesondere auf die richtige Polarität (Ausrichtung der Pole +/-).
• Mischen Sie nicht neue und gebrauchte Batterien oder Batterien unterschiedlichen Typs.
• Lesen und beachten Sie die alle Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und Anweisungen zu den von Ihnen verwendeten Batterien.
Wenn Sie Nickel-Metallhydridakkus verwenden, müssen Sie das vom Hersteller angegebene Ladegerät verwenden.
• Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät mehrere Monate lang nicht verwenden.
• Wenn aus einer Batterie Batterieflüssigkeit ausläuft, wischen Sie diese vorsichtig mit einem trockenen Tuch aus dem Batteriefach. Legen Sie
dann neue Batterien ein. Wenn Batterieflüssigkeit in Kontakt mit Ihrer Haut kommt, kann dies zu Hautirritationen führen. Batterieflüssigkeit ist
schädlich für Ihre Augen. Sollte sie in Ihre Augen gelangen, spülen Sie diese sofort gründlich mit Wasser aus.
• Lagern oder transportieren Sie Batterien nicht zusammen mit Metallobjekten, wie Kugelschreibern, Halsketten, Haarnadeln usw.

Benutzung des AC-33
Ein-/Ausschalten des Geräts
Nachdem Sie die Verbindungen hergestellt haben, schalten Sie Ihre
Geräte in der angegebenen Reihenfolge ein. Wenn Sie die Geräte in der
falschen Reihenfolge einschalten, besteht die Gefahr von Fehlfunktionen
und/oder Schäden an Lautsprechern und anderen Geräten.

Schließen Sie Ihre externen Geräte an.

Stellen Sie alle [VOLUME]-Regler und den [MASTER]-Regler
des AC-33 auf 0.
Spielen der Gitarre
1.
Schließen Sie Ihre Gitarre an, und schalten Sie den AC-33 ein.
Schließen Sie Ihre Gitarre an die INPUT-Buchse des GUITAR-Kanals an.
Jede Gitarre mit einem Tonabnehmer kann angeschlossen werden.
Wenn Ihre Gitarre über einen Tonabnehmer und einen integrierten
Vorverstärker verfügt, können Sie sie auch an den MIC/LINE-Kanal
anschließen.

Reverb/Ambience
1.
Bringen Sie den [CHORUS]-Schalter jedes Kanals in die
Position WIDE oder SPACE.
Hierbei handelt es sich um einen Stereo-Chorus-Effekt, bei dem
drei Frequenzbänder unabhängig voneinander verarbeitet werden.
Indem ein geeigneter Chorus-Effekt für das tiefe, mittlere und

Beim AC-33 gibt der rechte Lautsprecher (Gerät von vorne) den
Soundeffekt aus. Der linke Lautsprecher erzeugt den direkten
Sound. Der Chorus-Effekt entsteht, wenn sich die Ausgaben des
linken und rechten Lautsprechers im Raum mischen.
Gegenüber einem elektrisch gemischten Chorus-Effekt hat dieser
Effekt eine größere Reichweite nach links und rechts und eine
natürlichere Klangfülle.
Kein Chorus-Effekt wird angewendet.
REVERB
Dies ist ein Stereo-Halleffekt, der speziell für akustische
Instrumente entwickelt wurde. Er erzeugt einen vollen,
natürlichen Sound. Mit dem Regler passen Sie den Umfang
des Halleffekts an.

Dieser Effekt sorgt für einen leichten Raumklang, der Stimme/

und dann erneut über den Lautsprecher ausgegeben wird.
Die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer Rückkopplung ist höher, wenn Sie
das Mikrofon in die Richtung eines Lautsprechers halten oder die
Lautstärke sehr hoch drehen.

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL EN TOUTE SÉCURITÉ
AVERTISSEMENT
Branchez la prise d’alimentation de cet appareil sur
une prise secteur mise à la terre.
N’ouvrez pas (ni ne modifiez d’aucune façon)
l’appareil ou son adaptateur secteur.
N’essayez pas de réparer l’appareil ou d’en remplacer
des pièces (sauf si le présent manuel fournit des
instructions spécifiques dans ce sens). Pour toute
opération de maintenance, prenez contact avec
votre revendeur, avec le centre de service Roland le
plus proche, ou avec un distributeur Roland agréé
(voir la page « Information »).
N’installez jamais l’appareil dans l’un des
emplacements suivants.
• exposé à des températures élevées (par
exemple, emplacement exposé à la lumière
directe du soleil dans un véhicule fermé, près
d’une canalisation de chauffage, ou sur un
équipement émettant de la chaleur) ;
• embué (par exemple, salle de bains, cabinet de
toilette, sols mouillés) ;
• exposé à la vapeur ou à la fumée ;
• exposé au sel ;
• humide ;
• exposé à la pluie ;
• poussiéreux ou sableux ;
• soumis à de fortes vibrations et secousses.
Assurez-vous que l’appareil est toujours placé
sur une surface plane et qu’il est stable. Ne placez jamais l’appareil sur un support susceptible
d’osciller ou sur des surfaces inclinées.
Servez-vous exclusivement de l’adaptateur
secteur fourni avec cet appareil. En outre,
assurez-vous que la tension à l’installation
correspond à la tension en entrée indiquée sur
l’adaptateur secteur. Les autres adaptateurs
secteur pouvant utiliser une polarité différente
ou être réservés à une tension différente, leur
utilisation risque de provoquer des dommages,
des dysfonctionnements ou une décharge
électrique.
AVERTISSEMENT
Mettez immédiatement l’appareil hors tension,
débranchez l’adaptateur secteur de la prise
de courant, et demandez l’intervention d’un
technicien à votre revendeur, au centre de service Roland le plus proche, ou à un distributeur
Roland agréé (voir la page « Information »),

Ne forcez pas sur le cordon d’alimentation de
l’appareil afin de partager une prise murale
avec un nombre déraisonnable d’appareils

vigilant lorsque vous utilisez des cordons
prolongateurs : la puissance totale utilisée par
l’ensemble des appareils reliés à la prise murale
du cordon prolongateur ne doit jamais dépasser
la puissance nominale (watts/ampères) du
cordon prolongateur. Des charges excessives
peuvent provoquer un réchauffement de
l’isolation du cordon et parfois même sa fonte.
Avant d’utiliser l’appareil dans un pays
étranger, prenez contact avec votre revendeur,
avec le centre de service Roland le plus proche,
ou avec un distributeur Roland agréé (voir la
page Information).
Utilisez uniquement le cordon d’alimentation
fourni. De plus, le cordon d’alimentation fourni
ne doit pas être utilisé avec un autre appareil.
Les piles ne doivent jamais être rechargées,
chauffées, retirées ou jetées dans le feu ou
l’eau.
Ne tordez ni ne pliez le cordon d’alimentation
de manière excessive, et ne placez pas d’objets
lourds dessus. Ce faisant, vous risqueriez
d’endommager le cordon et de provoquer de
graves dommages ou des courts-circuits. Les
cordons endommagés présentent un risque
d’incendie et d’électrocution.
N’exposez jamais les piles à une chaleur
excessive telle que le soleil, un feu, etc.
Utilisé seul ou en association avec un amplificateur et un casque stéréo ou des haut-parleurs,
cet appareil peut produire des niveaux sonores
susceptibles d’entraîner une perte auditive
définitive. Ne travaillez pas pendant longtemps
à un niveau de volume élevé, ou à un niveau
inconfortable. Si vous constatez une perte
auditive ou des bourdonnements d’oreille,
vous devez immédiatement cesser d’utiliser
l’appareil et consulter un audiologiste.
Ne laissez aucun objet (matières inflammables,
pièces, épingles, par exemple) ni aucun liquide
(eau, boissons, etc.) s’introduire dans l’appareil.

ATTENTION
L’appareil et l’adaptateur secteur doivent être
placés de telle sorte qu’ils n’interfèrent pas
avec leur propre ventilation.
Saisissez toujours le cordon de l’adaptateur
secteur par la fiche lorsque vous voulez le
brancher ou le débrancher de la prise secteur.
Débranchez régulièrement l’adaptateur
secteur et nettoyez-le à l’aide d’un chiffon
sec afin de débarrasser les broches de la
poussière et des autres dépôts accumulés.
Débranchez également la prise de courant
de la prise murale chaque fois que l’appareil
n’est pas utilisé pendant une longue période.
L’accumulation de poussière entre la prise de
courant et la prise murale peut entraîner un
défaut d’isolation et provoquer un incendie.
ATTENTION
Évitez que les cordons d’alimentation et les
câbles ne s’emmêlent. Les cordons et les câbles
doivent également être placés hors de portée
des enfants.
Ne montez jamais sur l’appareil et ne déposez
pas d’objets lourds dessus.
Ne manipulez jamais l’adaptateur secteur ou sa
fiche avec les mains mouillées lorsque vous le
branchez ou le débranchez de la prise murale.
Avant de déplacer l’appareil, débranchez
l’adaptateur secteur et tous les cordons
provenant des périphériques externes.
Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, mettez-le hors

En cas de risque d’orage, débranchez
l’adaptateur secteur de la prise murale.
En cas d’utilisation incorrecte, les piles peuvent
exploser ou présenter des fuites, entraînant des
dommages matériels ou des blessures. Pour
votre sécurité, lisez et respectez les précautions
suivantes (p. 4).
• Suivez avec attention les instructions
d’installation des piles, et respectez la polarité
correcte.
• Évitez d’associer des piles neuves avec des piles
usagées. Évitez également d’associer différents
types de piles.
• Retirez les piles de l’appareil chaque fois que ce
dernier n’est pas utilisé pendant une période
prolongée.
• Si une pile présente une fuite, éliminez le
produit déversé du compartiment à piles à
l’aide d’un chiffon ou d’une serviette en papier.
Installez ensuite de nouvelles piles. Pour éviter
toute irritation de la peau, veillez à ce que
l’acide de la pile n’entre pas en contact avec les
mains ou la peau. Soyez extrêmement vigilant
afin d’éviter toute projection à proximité des
yeux. En cas de contact du produit déversé avec
les yeux, rincez immédiatement la zone touchée
à l’eau courante.
• Ne conservez jamais les piles à proximité
d’objets métalliques, comme des stylos à bille,
des colliers, des épingles à cheveux, etc.
Les piles usagées doivent être mises au rebut
conformément à la réglementation en vigueur
dans votre pays.
Ne retirez en aucun cas la grille du hautparleur, ni celui-ci. Le haut-parleur ne peut
pas être remplacé par l’utilisateur. Des
risques d’électrocution sont possibles lors de
l’ouverture du boîtier de l’appareil.
REMARQUES IMPORTANTES
• Avant de connecter cet appareil à d’autres équipements, mettez
tous les appareils hors tension. Cela vous permettra d’éviter tout
dysfonctionnement et/ou dommage des haut-parleurs ou d’autres
appareils.
Emplacement
• Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé à proximité d’amplificateurs de puissance
(ou de tout autre équipement contenant d’importants transformateurs
de puissance), un bourdonnement peut être émis. Pour atténuer ce
problème, modifiez l’orientation de l’appareil, ou éloignez-le de la
source d’interférence.
• Cet appareil peut interférer avec la réception radio et télévision.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité de tels récepteurs.
• Il peut y avoir production de bruit si des appareils de communication
sans fil (par exemple, des téléphones portables) sont utilisés à
proximité de l’appareil. Ce bruit peut se produire lors de la réception
ou de l’émission d’un appel, ou encore pendant une conversation. Si
vous rencontrez ces problèmes, vous devez soit déplacer les appareils

à proximité d’appareils qui émettent de la chaleur, ne le laissez pas

ce que la lumière d’appareils d’éclairage, souvent proches de l’appareil
(par exemple une lampe de piano), ou de projecteurs puissants, ne soit
pas toujours dirigée sur une même zone de l’appareil pendant une
longue période. Une chaleur excessive peut déformer ou décolorer
l’appareil.
• N’utilisez jamais d’essence à nettoyer, de diluants, d’alcool ou de
solvants de quelque type que ce soit, afin d’éviter tout risque de
décoloration et/ou de déformation.
Précautions supplémentaires
• Manipulez avec précaution les boutons, curseurs ou autres
commandes de l’appareil, ainsi que les prises et les connecteurs. Une
manipulation un peu brutale peut entraîner des dysfonctionnements.
• Lors du branchement/débranchement de tous les câbles, saisissez
le connecteur et ne tirez jamais sur le câble. Vous éviterez ainsi les
courts-circuits ou une détérioration des composants internes du câble.
• Pour éviter de déranger vos voisins, essayez de maintenir le volume de
l’appareil à des niveaux raisonnables. Vous pouvez également utiliser
un casque d’écoute afin de ne pas déranger votre entourage (en
particulier à une heure tardive).
• Lorsque vous devez transporter l’appareil, utilisez si possible
l’emballage d’origine (y compris ses protections). Sinon, utilisez un
emballage équivalent.
• Certains câbles contiennent des résistances. N’utilisez pas de câbles
qui comportent des résistances pour la connexion de cet appareil.
Avec ce type de câble, le niveau sonore peut être extrêmement faible,
voire inaudible. Pour plus d’informations sur les caractéristiques

* Aucun objet métallique ne doit entrer en contact avec les bornes
du compartiment à piles. Cela pourrait provoquer un court-circuit
au niveau des piles et entraîner la surchauffe ou l’embrasement du

Piles pouvant être utilisées
L’AC-33 utilise huit piles alcalines LR6 (AA) ou à hydrure métallique de
nickel.
* L’AC-33 ne permet pas de recharger les piles à hydrure métallique de
nickel. Vous devrez utiliser un dispositif vendu dans le commerce.
* Sachez que la durée de vie des piles à hydrure métallique de nickel
diminuera avec le nombre de cycles de charge effectués.
Mise en garde à propos des piles
• Insérez les piles comme indiqué et assurez-vous que leur polarité est correcte (orientation +/-).
• Ne mélangez pas des piles neuves et usagées, ou différents types de piles.
• Lisez et respectez les précautions et les instructions de manipulation qui accompagnent les piles.
Si vous utilisez des piles à hydrure métallique de nickel, vous devez utiliser le chargeur préconisé par le fabricant des piles.

Une fois les branchements effectués, mettez sous tension vos appareils

• Assurez-vous toujours que le volume est réglé au minimum avant
de mettre l’amplificateur sous tension. Même si le volume est réglé
au minimum, il est possible que vous entendiez un son lors de la
mise sous tension de l’appareil. C’est normal et cela n’indique pas
de dysfonctionnement.

Il s’agit d’un chorus stéréo qui traite les trois bandes de
fréquences séparément.
En appliquant le chorus approprié aux bandes de fréquences
basses, moyennes et hautes, cet effet crée un chorus profond et
ample qui convient bien au son d’une guitare acoustique.
Les basses fréquences restent fermement positionnées au centre,
et le son devient de plus en plus ample au fur et à mesure que
vous allez du centre vers les hautes fréquences.
SPACE
Il s’agit d’un chorus qui mélange les sons dans l’air, une méthode
possible uniquement avec un système stéréo. Sur l’AC-33, le son
de l’effet est émis par le haut-parleur de droite (lorsque vous
faites face à l’appareil) et le son direct est émis par le haut-parleur
de gauche. L’effet de chorus est produit lorsque les sons des
haut-parleurs de gauche et de droite sont mélangés dans l’air.
Comparé à un effet de chorus électrique, cet effet offre une
plus large diffusion sur la gauche et sur la droite, ainsi qu’une
meilleure amplitude naturelle.

Il s’agit d’une réverbération stéréo qui a été mise au point

UTILIZZO SICURO DELL'UNITÀ
AVVERTENZA
Collegare la spina dell'alimentazione di questo
modello a una presa dotata di messa a terra.
Non aprire né modificare in alcun modo l'unità o il
relativo adattatore CA.
Non tentare di riparare l'unità o di sostituirne
parti interne, ad eccezione dei casi in cui il
presente manuale fornisca istruzioni specifiche
indicando all'utente le modalità di esecuzione di tali
operazioni. Per qualsiasi tipo di assistenza rivolgersi
al proprio fornitore, al Centro di assistenza Roland
più vicino o a un distributore Roland autorizzato,
come indicato nella pagina "Informazioni".
Non installare l'unità nei luoghi con le caratteristiche
indicate di seguito:
• Aree soggette a temperature eccessive
(ad esempio, la luce solare diretta in un
veicolo chiuso, vicino a una fonte di calore, su
apparecchiature che generano calore);
• Ambienti umidi (ad esempio bagni, lavanderie o

Assicurarsi che l'unità sia sempre posizionata in
piano e in modo stabile. Non appoggiarla mai su
supporti instabili o superfici inclinate.
Utilizzare esclusivamente l'adattatore CA fornito
assieme a questa unità. Assicurarsi inoltre che
la tensione della linea all'installazione corrisponda
alla tensione in ingresso specificata sul corpo
dell'adattatore CA. Altri adattatori CA potrebbero
utilizzare una polarità diversa o essere indicati
per una tensione di corrente diversa, pertanto
il loro utilizzo potrebbe causare danni,
malfunzionamenti o produrre scosse elettriche.
AVVERTENZA
Spegnere immediatamente l'unità, rimuovere

In presenza di bambini, è necessario che un
adulto fornisca supervisione finché il bambino
non è in grado di seguire tutte le norme essenziali
per il funzionamento in sicurezza dell'unità.
Proteggere l'unità da impatti di forte entità.
Prestare molta attenzione a non farla cadere.
Per collegare il cavo di alimentazione dell'unità
a una presa di corrente non utilizzare una presa
a cui è collegato un numero eccessivo di altri
dispositivi. Prestare particolare attenzione
quando si utilizzando prolunghe, la potenza
massima utilizzata da tutti i dispositivi collegati
alla presa della prolunga non deve mai superare
la potenza prevista (watt/ampere) per la
prolunga in uso. Carichi eccessivi possono
causare il surriscaldamento del materiale
isolante del cavo e provocarne la fusione.
Prima di utilizzare l'unità in un paese straniero,
consultare il proprio fornitore, il Centro di
assistenza Roland più vicino o un distributore
Roland autorizzato, in base all'elenco della
pagina "Informazioni".
Non ricaricare, riscaldare, aprire o gettare nel
fuoco o nell'acqua le batterie.
Utilizzare solo il cavo di alimentazione fornito
con il prodotto. Inoltre, non utilizzare il cavo
fornito con nessun altro dispositivo.
Non sottoporre a torsione né piegare in modo
eccessivo il cavo di alimentazione, né posizionare
oggetti pesanti su di esso. In caso contrario
è possibile che il cavo venga danneggiato,
causando la rottura di elementi e producendo
cortocircuiti. I cavi danneggiati costituiscono un
rischio di incendi e di scosse elettriche.
Questa unità, sola o in abbinamento con un
amplificatore e cuffie o casse, è in grado di
produrre livelli di suono che possono causare
la perdita permanente di udito. Non lasciare in
funzione l'unità per periodi di tempo prolungati
a un livello di volume elevato o fastidioso. Se
si verifica perdita di udito o si avvertono ronzii
nelle orecchie, è necessario interrompere
immediatamente l'utilizzo dell'unità e consultare
uno specialista dell'udito.
Evitare che qualsiasi tipo di oggetto (ad esempio
materiale infiammabile, monete, spilli) o liquido
(acqua, bevande, ecc.) penetri nell'unità.

Non esporre mai la batteria a un calore eccessivo,
come la luce diretta del sole, il fuoco o fonti simili.
ATTENZIONE
Posizionare l'unità e l'adattatore CA in modo
che la posizione non interferisca con la corretta
ventilazione.
Tenere sempre ferma solo la spina sul cavo
dell'adattatore CA quando si collega o si
scollega una presa o questa unità.
A intervalli regolari, è necessario scollegare
l'adattatore CA e pulirlo utilizzando un panno
asciutto per eliminare tutta la polvere e altri
accumuli dai relativi denti. Inoltre, scollegare
la spina dalla presa di alimentazione ogni
volta che l'unità deve restare inutilizzata per
un periodo di tempo prolungato. Eventuali
accumuli di polvere tra la spina e la presa di
alimentazione possono provocare uno scarso
isolamento elettrico e causare incendi.
ATTENZIONE
Evitare che cavi e fili elettrici si aggroviglino.
Inoltre, è necessario posizionare tutti i cavi e i
fili elettrici fuori dalla portata di bambini.
Mai montare sull'unità né collocare oggetti
pesanti su di essa.
Mai maneggiare l'adattatore CA o le relative
spine con mani bagnate quando si collega o si
scollega una presa o l'unità.
Prima di spostare l'unità scollegare l'adattatore
CA e tutti i cavi provenienti da dispositivi
esterni.
Prima di effettuare la pulizia dell'unità,
spegnerla e scollegare l'adattatore CA dalla
presa (p. 4).
Qualora si sospetti la possibilità di fulmini nella
zona scollegare l'adattatore CA dalla presa.
Se utilizzate in modo improprio, le batterie
possono esplodere o lasciar fuoriuscire del
liquido e causare danni o lesioni. Per motivi
di sicurezza, leggere e osservare le seguenti
precauzioni (p. 4).
• Seguire attentamente le istruzioni di
installazione per le batterie, avendo cura di
rispettare la polarità corretta.
• Non utilizzare insieme batterie nuove e usate
oppure di tipo diverso.
• Rimuovere sempre le batterie se si prevede di
non utilizzare l'unità per un tempo prolungato.
• In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido da una batteria,
utilizzare un panno o un tovagliolo di carta per
eliminarne ogni residuo dall'alloggiamento
delle batterie, quindi installare batterie nuove.
Per evitare infiammazioni cutanee, evitare che il
liquido fuoriuscito dalla batteria entri a contatto
con la pelle o con le mani. Prestare la massima
attenzione affinché il liquido fuoriuscito non
entri in contatto con gli occhi. Qualora il liquido
fuoriuscito dalla batteria dovesse entrare in
contatto con gli occhi, sciacquare subito l'area
interessata con acqua corrente.
• Non tenere mai le batterie a contatto con
oggetti metallici come penne a sfera, collane,
fermagli per capelli ecc.
Per l'eliminazione delle batterie usate, seguire le
disposizioni in materia in vigore nella regione
di utilizzo.
Non rimuovere in nessun modo la griglia
dell'altoparlante né l'altoparlante. Gli
altoparlanti non devono essere sostituiti
dall'utente. La custodia contiene elementi
sotto tensione e quindi pericolosi.
NOTE IMPORTANTI
• Spegnere tutti dispositivi prima di collegarli a questa unità per evitare
malfunzionamenti e/o danni agli altoparlanti o ad altri dispositivi.
Posizionamento
• L'utilizzo dell'unità vicino ad amplificatori di potenza (o altre
apparecchiature contenenti trasformatori di potenza di grandi
dimensioni) potrebbe causare un ronzio. Per ridurre il problema
modificare l'orientamento dell'unità o allontanarla dall'origine di
interferenza.
• Questo dispositivo potrebbe interferire con la ricezione di apparecchi
radio e televisivi. Non utilizzare questo dispositivo in prossimità di tali
ricevitori.
• Se si utilizzano dispositivi di comunicazioni wireless, ad esempio
telefoni cellulari, in prossimità dell'unità, è possibile che si produca del
rumore. Tale rumore potrebbe verificarsi quando si riceve o si avvia
una chiamata o durante la conversazione telefonica. Se si verificano

Precauzioni aggiuntive
• Utilizzare i pulsanti, i cursori o altri controlli, nonché i jack e i
connettori dell'unità prestando ragionevole attenzione. Se l'unità
viene maneggiata in modo poco attento, potrebbero verificarsi dei
malfunzionamenti.
• Quando si collegano/scollegano tutti i cavi, tenere fermo il connettore
senza mai tirare il cavo. In tal modo si eviterà di causare cortocircuiti o
di danneggiare gli elementi interni del cavo.
• Per evitare di provocare disturbo ai vicini, cercare di mantenere il
volume dell'unità a livelli ragionevoli. È preferibile utilizzare le cuffie, in
modo da assicurarsi di non provocare rumori molesti alle persone nelle
vicinanze (soprattutto durante le ore notturne).

• Durante l'installazione o la sostituzione delle batterie, spegnere sempre
l'unità e scollegare eventuali altri dispositivi collegati per evitare
malfunzionamenti e/o danni agli altoparlanti o ad altri dispositivi.
• Per la pulizia quotidiana pulire l'unità con un panno morbido e asciutto
oppure leggermente inumidito con acqua. Per rimuovere lo sporco
ostinato utilizzare un panno imbevuto di un detergente delicato e non

• Per trasportare l'unità, imballarla nella scatola originale, includendo
l'imbottitura, se possibile. Altrimenti, è necessario utilizzare materiali di

• Alcuni cavi di connessione contengono resistori. Non utilizzare cavi
con resistori incorporati per il collegamento di questa unità. L'utilizzo
di tali cavi può causare una riduzione eccessiva del livello del suono o

conseguente surriscaldamento o fusione del vano.
Informazioni sulle batterie
Batterie utilizzabili
Il modello AC-33 utilizza otto batterie alcaline o NiMH AA.
* Il modello AC-33 non è in grado di ricaricare le batterie NiMH ed è
necessario utilizzare un caricabatterie disponibile in commercio.
* Se si utilizzano batterie di tipo NiMH ricordare che la loro durata si
riduce a ogni ricarica.
Precauzioni sull'uso delle batterie
• Inserire le batterie come indicato e prestando attenzione a rispettare la polarità corretta (segno +/-).
• Non utilizzare batterie nuove e usate insieme né tipi di batterie diversi.
• Leggere e rispettare con attenzione le precauzioni e istruzioni per l'utilizzo relative alle batterie.
Se si utilizzano batterie NiMH, servirsi del caricabatterie specificato dal produttore.
• Rimuovere le batterie dal vano se si prevede di non utilizzare l'unità per diversi mesi.
• In caso di fuoriuscita di elettrolito asciugare la perdita sul vano con un panno e quindi inserire batterie nuove. Evitare il contatto dell'elettrolito
con la pelle per non provocare irritazioni cutanee. L'elettrolito della batteria è pericoloso per gli occhi; in caso di contatto con gli occhi risciacquarli
abbondantemente con acqua.
• Non trasportare né stoccare batterie assieme a oggetti metallici come penne, collane o forcine per capelli.

Riproduzione dei suoni
Dopo aver completato i collegamenti, accendete i vari dispositivi
nell'ordine specificato. Se si segue un ordine di accensione sbagliato
si rischiano malfunzionamenti e/o danni agli altoparlanti e agli altri
dispositivi.
1.
Verificate che tutti i dispositivi siano spenti.
2.
Collegate il dispositivo esterno.
3.
Impostate ciascuna manopola [VOLUME] e la manopola
[MASTER] del modello AC-33 su 0.
Suonare la chitarra
1.
Collegate la chitarra e accendete il modello AC-33.
Collegate la chitarra al jack INPUT di GUITAR CHANNEL (canale chitarra).
È possibile connettere qualsiasi chitarra dotata di pickup.
Se la chitarra è dotata di pickup e di preamplificatore incorporato, è
possibile anche collegarla a MIC/LINE CHANNEL (canale microfono/
linea).


Accendete tutti i dispositivi esterni collegati ai jack AUX IN.

Accendete il modello AC-33.

Regolate su 5 la manopola [VOLUME] dell'ingresso utilizzato
(posizione centrale).
3.
Durante la generazione del suono utilizzate la manopola
[MASTER] per regolare il volume.
Accendete tutti i dispositivi collegati al jack LINE OUT.
Per spegnere i dispositivi, seguite in senso inverso questa procedura.
NOTA
• Assicuratevi sempre di abbassare il livello del volume prima di
accendere l'impianto. Anche con il volume al minimo è possibile
udire dei suoni al momento dell'accensione, ma questo è normale e
non indica un malfunzionamento.
Regolazione del tono
1.
Per regolare il tono, utilizzate le manopole [BASS] (frequenze
basse), [MIDDLE] (frequenze medie) e [TREBLE] (frequenze
alte) del canale desiderato.

• Se il modello AC-33 è alimentato solo a batterie, l'indicatore POWER
si indebolisce con l'esaurirsi delle batterie.
Quando la carica si riduce ulteriormente, l'indicatore POWER
lampeggia. Sostituite le batterie appena possibile.
