DESCRIPTION
FEATURES
The FB-100 is a low-frequency sound subwoofer system
suitable for playing BGM/FGM in restaurants, boutiques,
meeting rooms, AV rooms, etc. The system is compact and
doesn't take up a lot of space. Because the system is
trapezoidal in shape, it can be installed in corners as well as
on ceilings and flat wall surfaces.
The urethane-painted enclosure is made of a strong, 15mmthick Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and can be easily
repainted to match the interior of any buildings.
The FB-100 is a powerful speaker with a 25cm high amplitude
woofer capable of handling 450 watts of program input. The
system consists of a woofer unit having an extended voice coil
with diameter of 50 mm, a large 120mm ferrite magnet, nonpressed paper cone designed to withstand large output of lowfrequency sounds, and a wide, durable damper with strong
damping power indispensable for clear low-frequency sound
reproduction.
The system can reproduce super-low frequencies of down to
35Hz thanks to its Acoustic Super Woofer enclosure that
creates an acoustic band-pass filter. The Acoustic Super
Woofer enclosure construction cuts mid and high frequencies
even if band limitations, such as a low-pass filter, are not
performed for input signals, permitting the system to function
as a subwoofer even if music signals are input without band
limitations.
Six external mounting screws are positioned along the sides
of the enclosure to facilitate eye bolt-suspended installations.
The unit's input terminals employ detachable connectors for
easy wiring. Also, the unit's removable top panel facilitates
maintenance work after installation.
The system can be converted to high-impedance applications
with the addition of the optional MT-S0601 matching
transformer.
