The Fender AT-3 Automatic Tuner uses advanced digital signal processing for simple hands-free tuning of your instrument. The AT-3 can fune both an electronic instrument with the built-in input jack and an acoustic instrument with the convenient built-in microphone. Before you plug in your instrument o ECO 5 DDD or play make sure the A1-3 is equipped w ry. Ea meter will light up from the left and move towards the right one by one. 2. Play an open guitar string(the low-E. for example) and adjust the instrument s pitch until the desired note lights up. 3. Fine tune the instrument by observing the flat-in tune-sharp indicator. If the red LED on the left light up, the pitch of the instrument needs to be raised. If the red LED on the right light up, the pitch needs to be lowered. 4. Continue fine-tuning your instrument until the green LED lights up at the center of the LED indicator. 5. Repeat the process with other open guitar strings until you achieve the desired results. The AT-3 is a rugged tuner that should provide you with years of trouble-free operation. Still a reasonable amount of care is recommended to keep the unit in top operating condition. I. Keep the AT-3 away from excessive moisture, dust or extreme heat or cold temperature. 2. Periodically wipe the indicator screen with a clean, soft cloth to maintain ideal visibility. 3. Do not remove the cord from the input jack by pulling on the cable. Removing the tip of the cord gently will assure that the contact points within the tuner will stay intact.
