For desktop use:
1. Attach the protective rubber feet to the mounting bracket
as shown.
2. Slide the scanner into the bracket, aligning the scanner’s
side holes with the holes in the bracket, and then screw the
mounting knobs into the scanner.

AC Power
1. Connect the supplied adapter to the scanner’s DC
13.8V jack.
2. Plug the adapter into a standard household power
socket.
3. To disconnect, unplug the adapter from the power
source first.

We recommend programming your local radio systems
using a Windows PC. You will need a membership in
www.radioreference.com and a free 30-day download from
either PSREdit.com or Starrsoft.com. This method does
not require you to retype any frequencies or names
and you do not need to know anything about trunking
systems, you only need to know what you want to
monitor from the radioreference lists.
If you wish to program by hand, look up your local
frequencies at www.radioreference.com and refer to
the owner’s manual for detailed instructions.
