Features and Benefits:
The DMS-OUT is loaded with features designed to provide the best audio experience. Enjoy features such as:
● 3rd Party Room Linking: When connected to a 3rd Party AVR, the DMS-OUT allows this device to become a DMS Zone. All DMS Zones provide the ability to link zones
together and control a single menu for volume of individual or all linked zones.
● Fixed or Variable Output Settings: The DMS-OUT allows for fixed or variable volume control. When set to variable the 3rd party AVR controls the audio level settings.
When set to fixed the DMS-OUT controls the audio level settings.
● 3rd Party Volume Pop-Up: In conjunction with supported 3rd Party AVRs, the DMS-OUT creates a basic and simple volume pop-up menu that provides real time twoway feedback and control of volume and mute.
● 3rd Party Audio Device Integration
DMS-OUT grants 3rd party devices the ability to use sources that are available from DMS Audio Streams.
● Flexible Power Source
Use the supplied 5V DC power adapter or take advantage of the DMS-OUT’s PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability using CAT 5/6 wiring.

Parts & Pieces:
Requirements:
Contained within the DMS-OUT box:
As with all Total Control products, the DMS-OUT is not a plug-and-play device. It
requires programming by a certified Total Control programmer to function properly.
● 1x DMS-OUT device
● 1x Wall Mount
● 1x 5V DC Power Adapter
● 4x Mounting Screws
Be sure the system contains at least one (1) of the following:
● MFS-8 or MFS-POE8
● MRX Advanced System Controller
● URC Interface (TRC, TKP, or URC Mobile 2.0 devices)
DMS Room Linking:
The DMS-OUT permits 3rd party AVRs to “link” with other DMS Zones. Doing so creates
a volume pop-up menu providing feedback to control volume of all linked rooms as well
as individual rooms.
Receive real-time two-way feedback on:
● Power Status
● Volume
● Mute Status
