Thank you for purchasing IOGEAR®’s HDMI Automatic Switch.
IOGEAR's patented HDAS automatic switching technology allows you to maintain a
single Universal Remote to control your home entertainment center.
IOGEAR's patented HDAS automatic switching technology will automatically switch to
the active device which eliminates the need for a dedicated remote for the switch. It's
very simple — just turn on the device that you want viewed on your HDTV using a
Universal remote or source remote. If you want to switch over to another source
device, simply use the Universal remote or source remote to power on the desired
device. In addition, since all the source devices will be connected to a single HDMI
connection on the HDTV via the switch, it eliminates the need to manually switch
among the AV inputs to display the video from the different source devices.
The 4-port HDMI Automatic Switch comes with an optional switch remote. The switch
remote enables you to switch among the devices by selecting the desired video port.
A Learning Universal Remote can learn the functions of the switch remote. This way,
at a press of a button, you can switch among devices without powering on and off the
devices.
IOGEAR’s HDMI switch is HDCP™ Compliant and supports 1080p resolution.
It is an ideal solution for connecting multiple HD digital content media devices such
as video game consoles, media PCs, set top boxes from satellite or cable providers,
DVRs, HD DVD players, A/V receivers and many more.

Product Installation
STEP 1
Connect the supplied HDMI cable from your HD TV/display to the Output port of
the HDMI switch.
STEP 2
Connect the power supply to the video switch.

Connect an HDMI cable from the 1st HDMI source to the Input 1 port of the HDMI
switch.
STEP 4
Repeat Step 3 for Input 2, 3 and 4 ports as needed.

You are now able to switch between your HDMI sources by turning on the device.
The switch will switch to the last device turned on, if you wish to jump back to the
previous device simply push the override button on the front of the device or
power off the other device or use the switch remote. A blue LED on the front of
the switch will indicate the selected video source.
