• An additional safety timer shuts off the charger if the maximum charging time is exceeded.

• A precise, process-controlled – ∆ V shutoff for each charging slot ensures that each battery is charged to its optimal level. It also prevents the batteries from overcharging.

• 1,2,3 or 4 batteries can be charged either individually or together. Different sizes (AA/AAA) and types (NiCd/ NiMH) can be combined. The charging current is adjusted accordingly.

Charging:

Insert the batteries in the correct direction.

Each of the 4 charging compartments is monitored separately. The charging status of the battery before charging is not important. Once the batteries are inserted, charging begins automatically. After charging is fi nished, the charger automatically switches each compartment separately to trickle charge. Batteries can stay in the charger and remain ready for use.

Indicator:

When more than one battery is in the charger, the LED does not indicate that charging is complete until the last battery is fully charged.

Red: Charging Green: Flashing red: One or more batteries are defect.

Charged, trickle charge Remove all batteries. Insert them individually and wait up to 10 seconds.

If the LED fl ashes: the battery is defect - dispose of it. Repeat test with next battery.
