ARCHITECT’S SPECIFICATIONS
The device shall be a portable adaptive diversity compact
personal receiver for use with a companion transmitter
as part of a high reliability adaptive diversity wireless
broadband FM (MPX, mono) radio frequency transmission
system. The portable receiver model shall operate within 5
RF frequency ranges 470,100 – 558 MHz; 558 – 626 MHz;
626 – 698 MHz; 718 – 790 MHz; 790 – 865 MHz; with a
maximum of 32 preset channels per range, with a switching bandwidth of maximum 88 MHz. The receiver shall
include an auto-lock feature to prevent settings from being
accidentally altered.
Audio frequency response shall be 40 – 15,000 Hz. Signal-to-noise ratio shall be ≥ 90 dBA. The earphone audio
output shall utilize a 3.5 mm audio socket with an output
power of 100 mW at 32 Ω (adjustable via receiver external control). Menubased software adjustments for channel designation shall be made using a backlit LCD user
display; display shall indicate operating channel number,
programmable channel name and battery state of charge.
The receiver shall provide function for copying settings
between receivers.
The receiver shall be fully compatible with Sennheiser
2000 series (range AW+, GW, BW, CW, and DW) and G3
/ G4 series transmitters (range A1, A, GB, G. B, C and E).
Power shall be supplied to the portable receiver by 2 “AA”
size batteries (1.5 VDC) or by one Sennheiser BA 2015
rechargeable battery pack. Operating time shall be typical
8 hours. A rechargeable batter pack shall be in the delivery. The receiver case dimensions shall be approximately
3.23“ x 2.52“ x 0.94“ (82 x 64 x 24 mm). Weight including
battery shall be approximately 7.05 oz (200 grams). Operating conditions shall be ambient temperature +32 °F to
+104 °F (0 °C to +40 °C). The portable adaptive diversity
compact personal receiver shall be Sennheiser model
EK 1039.
