Step 2: Remove the (4) Philips head screws that fasten the tape head guard, and retain them for reassembly. Step 3: Remove the guard and retain for reassembly. Step 4: Install the Sensor Assembly onto the rear tape head spacer. Use the M5x12 hex head screw along with the M5 split washer and M5 flat washer to secure the assembly into the middle hole of the spacer. The sensor assembly should be mounted on the inside of the tape head. Step 6: Route the sensor wires over the top of the bracket and under the tape head spacer. Step 7: Replace the tape head guard, and hand tighten the front (2) screws. Step 8: Install the Counter assembly on top of the tape head guard. Use the screws that originally held the guard in place. The wires from the sensor assembly fit in the gap on the guards side. Step 9: Press the quick disconnect terminals together. It doesn’t matter which wire is connected to which terminal, there is no polarity to match. Step 5: Install the magnet on the applying mechanism spacer. Pull the applying mechanism spacer towards the sensor and check the alignment of the magnet. The magnet should be to either side of the sensor, it won’t function in the center of the sensor. Step 10: Press the grey reset button to return the count to zero. This completes the installation of the Throughput indicator.
