THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING VELLO
The Vello Selfie Trigger infrared remote control is a wireless
remote that lets you take photos with your camera from up
to 16 feet away. It's ideal for when you want to take a picture
from in front of the camera, as in group photos or just for
your selfie shots. The remote is also a key aid when you
would like to minimize camera shake while shooting macro
or long-exposure photographs. Simply set up the camera
where you need it, point the remote at the IR sensor on
the camera, and trigger the shot. The Vello Selfie Trigger
is sleek, lightweight, and easy to stash in your pocket.
USING YOUR SELFIE TRIGGER
The Vello Selfie Trigger works with an infrared signal
that requires line of sight between the remote and the
camera from up to 16 feet away. Make sure there are no
physical obstructions between the camera and remote.
1. Set your camera for remote triggering. Consult your
camera’s manual for more information about the remote
triggering feature.
2. Set up your shot and make sure everything is in focus.
3. Aim the remote at the infrared sensor on the front or back
of your camera, and press the shutter release button.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
The Vello Selfie Trigger is powered by a 3 V CR2025
battery. To replace the battery, follow these steps:
1. Turn the remote upside
down.
2. Push the locking tab in
the direction indicated by
the arrow, and pull the
battery tray out of the
remote.
3. Remove the old battery
and replace it with a new
one. Make sure the side
marked with a plus sign
(+) is facing up.
4. Push the battery tray
back into the remote
until it locks in place.
