Below you will find brief information for explosion-proof housing EXH. The explosion-proof housing EXH is designed for use in industrial environments where there may be explosive atmospheres due to gas, vapors, mists, or air or powder mixtures. The housing comprises solid, cast Anticorodal aluminum alloy from the AlSi7Mg EN AB-42000 group. Depending on the model, all parts are powder-painted and oven-cured or treated with special coatings that give excellent resistance to UV light, salt spray, and atmospheric pollutants. The explosion-proof housing EXH has a version with a glass protection device, installed on the front opening of the housing. The housing has two holes for 3/4" NPT cable glands. These cable glands guarantee an IP66 protection level. The device must be installed only and exclusively by qualified technical personnel.
