RUST-OLEUM®
CLEANER & DEGREASER
DESCRIPTION AND USES
PRODUCT APPLICATION
Rust-Oleum® Cleaner & Degreaser is formulated to break
down oil, grease, stains, tire marks, dirt, harmful silicates
and more to properly clean and prepare surfaces for
coatings, paint, stains and sealers. Thoroughly cleaning the
surface and removing contaminants is an essential step to
ensure adhesion is achieved. Diluted Cleaner & Degreaser
can be used to clean a coated surface.
Use only when air (ambient) temperature is 50-90°F (1032°C) and relative humidity is below 85%.
Pour diluted mixture of Rust-Oleum Cleaner & Degreaser
onto the entire floor. Allow to soak into the surface for 20
minutes (longer soak times may be necessary for removal of
curing compounds). Mist the surface as needed to keep it
damp. Work into the surface with a stiff bristle broom. After
scrubbing the floor, rinse thoroughly with water or power
wash to remove all cleaner residue. Squeegee or broom
excess moisture from the surface.
Cleaner & Degreaser is suitable for use on bare concrete
surfaces, including garage floors, basements, driveways,
carports, patios, walkways and pool decks.
Re-application may be necessary for extremely dirty, stained
floors, or hard to remove stains. When using to clean an
already coated surface, dilute at a 10:1 ratio. Always test in
an inconspicuous area prior to using on entire floor
