If using a sump pump with 1-1/4 in. female NPT discharge, connect the included 1-1/4 in. male NPT x 1-1/4 in. insert (barb) to the pump discharge b. If using a sump pump with 1-1/2 in. female NPT discharge, connect the included 1-1/2 in. male NPT x 1-1/4 in. insert (barb) to the pump discharge c. If using a utility pump, make sure the pump comes with a 1-1/4 in. insert (barb) adapter. 2. Using the included clamp, clamp the hose to the insert (barb) adapter. To minimize leaks, make sure clamp is secure.
