—_ INSTALLATION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT! DISCONNECT POWER AT MAIN FUSE BOX TO
PREVENT POSSIBLE INJURY FROM ELECTRICAL SHOCK.
Remove all parts and parts packages from carton. NOTE: The design,
shape, and size of your fixture may vary from that shown at right, but the
assembly and installation is the same.
Mount crossbar (2) to outlet box (1) with screws (3) provided with your
outlet box (not included).
Thread nipple (4) into center hole of crossbar (2) a few turns.
Splice the black fixture wire (6) to the black supply wire and the white
fixture wire (5) to the white supply wire using wire connectors (7) (not
provided).
CAUTION: Be certain that no bare wire strands are exposed outside of the
wire connectors
Attach house ground wire and fixture ground wire to crossbar (2) using
green ground screw (3).
Carefully tuck all spliced wires into the outlet box (1).
‘Mount the backplate assembly (9) and front cover assembly (11) to the
wall allowing nipple (4) to pass through center hole and secure with cap
nut (10).
Note: front cover assembly (11) has been attached to backplate (9) with
two screws (12) along sides. |
Install light bulb (sold separately) into socket. Refer to label on fixture for |
maximum wattage.
Slide the glass cover (13) down over front cover and onto metal holder
(14).
