The Flat Wall Count ert op Support Bracket
is t he hidden st eel bracket support of choice for support ing a kit chen count ert op,
where t he count ert op is balanced in t he middle of t he knee wall or pony wall.
St ep #1:
Inst allat ion Guide:
Measure 3"-6" from the outer edge of the cabinet to place the first bracket.
Then place brackets every 16"-20" apart for countertop protection.

Use the correct tools.
Wear safety goggles &
proper safety equipment.
Follow fixture, power tools
& paint manufactures
instructions & user
manuals.
Use common sense
& follow good
construction practices.
Consult a professional
when installing brackets for
load bearing application.
Be sure the bracket has a
substructure that is able to
support the bracket & any
other additional weight that
may be added to it.
When in doubt, consult a
professional installer.
Rout or chisel a 2.5" wide by 0.5" deep
section on top pf the knee/pony wall.
This "pocket" will allow the bracket to
sit flush with the top of the knee/pony
wall.
NOTE: It isimportant the bracket be flush
with the knee/pony wall in order for the
countertop to sit level.
St ep #3:
Once the "pocket" is made in the
knee/pony wall, simply insert the
support bracket & screw the bracket
into place making sure your screws are
flush with the brackets.
NOTE: We have provided screws
HOWEVER make sure the length of the
provided screwsare appropriate for your
project. If not appropriate DO NOT use
the screwsprovided. Each project is
different so protect your project by
measuring before you add the screws.
St ep #4:
Using a level, make sure your brackets
are level; use shims where necessary
until the brackets are completely level.
St ep #5:
Place your countertop on top of the
cabinet & brackets.
St ep #6:
Check once again that the countertop
is level. Once level, caulk around the
brackets with clear silicone to hold your
countertop securely in place.
