Rice Cooker Operating Instructions

Congratulations on owning this fine WINCO Rice Cooker!

Please kindly take a moment to read through the following important information.

OPERATION

1. Measure rice into the pan and add proper amount of water. As a rule of thumb, the ratio of 1.5

cups of water to 1 cup of rice is preferable.

2. Place the pan in the rice cooker body and turn it slightly so it is properly seated onto the heating

plate with full contact to ensure even heating.

3. Close the lid and plug the power cord to a wall outlet.

4. Press down the switch button. The ‘Rice Cooking’ lamp lights up. If the pan is not placed in

the body, the cooker should not be switched ON.

5. When the rice is cooked, the switch is turned OFF automatically with ‘Rice Cooking’ lamp

going off while ‘Keep Warm’ lamp turns ON.

6. Keep the lid on for another 15 minutes to ensure that the rice is thoroughly cooked.

7. Please unplug the power cord after the cook and keep warm operation is completed.

CLEANING:

1. Be sure to unplug the power cord and wait till the body is cooled off.

2. Clean the body with mild detergent and a damp cloth, wipe dry using a clean, soft cloth.

3. Remove the pan and inner lid from the body and clean them with mild detergent and rinse

completely; dry with soft cloth.

4. Do not use abrasive powder or steel wool for cleaning the lid and the pan. It will cause

damages to the surface.

5. Grains of rice or other foreign matter may stick to the heating plate. These must be removed

to ensure proper and full contact of the pan with the heating plate.

* OPERACIÓN:

1. Mida el arroz y poner adentro del molde y agregue la cantidad apropiada de agua. Como regla

general, la proporción de 1.5 taza de agua para 1 taza de arroz es preferible.

2. Coloque el molde en el cuerpo de la arrocera, girar ligeramente para que quede bien asentada sobre

la placa de calentamiento. Con pleno contacto para asegurar un calentamiento uniforme.

3. Cierre la tapa y enchufe el cable de alimentación a un enchufe de pared.

4. Presione el botón del interruptor. El botón cocinar arroz se ilumina. Si el molde no se comercializa

en el cuerpo de la cocinera, entonces no debe estar encendido.

5. Cuando el arroz se termina de cocinar, el interruptor se apaga automáticamente y al mismo tiempo

se ilumina la lámpara de mantener caliente.

6. Mantenga la cocinera cubierta por otros 15 minutos para garantizar que el arroz esté bien cocido.

7. Desconecte el cable de alimentación después que los funcionamientos de cocinar y mantener

caliente se hayan completado.

* LIMPIEZA:

1. Asegúrese de desenchufar el cable de alimentación y espere hasta que la cocinera se enfríe.

2. Limpie la cocinera con un detergente suave y con un paño húmedo y seque con un paño suave y

limpio.

3. Retire la olla y la tapa interior de la cocinara y límpielos con un detergente suave y enjuague

completamente. Seque con un paño suave.

4. No use polvos abrasivos o lana de acero para la limpieza de la tapa o de la olla. Esto causará daños

a la superficie.

5. Granos de arroz o cualquier otro material extraño puede adherirse a la placa de calentamiento.
