Rosslare's SA-16 is one of a powerful line of high performance indoor wireless smoke and heat detectors, ideal for residential, commercial and institutional applications. This heat detector provides continuous protection against fire hazards even during power outages. Encased in a compact elegantly designed shell, the SA-16 provides the most reliable, convenient and cost effective solution for heat and fire detection.

With the SA-16, you can sleep easy. This battery-powered unit packs advanced features such as a fieldproven electronic NTC precision temperature sensor , detector removal tampering and low battery messages, a test button to verify the detection electronics are working as intended, and local alarm sounder.

General Description

The SA-16 Wireless Heat Detector is an indispensable component in any security system.

The heart of the SA-16 is a built-in electronic NTC precision temperature sensor, a built-in local Piezoelectric siren for alarms, and beeps to indicate a low battery condition. On the head there is a self-test button with an integral LED. The unit will beep every 60 seconds when the battery is low.

The SA-16 Wireless Heat Detector comes in one package with the integrated SA-13 RF Base, adaptor, and two new

9-Volt Alkaline batteries (one for Head and one for Base).

The unit is ready to install and enroll onto one of

Rosslare’s wireless security and automation panels, or universal receivers at the press of the test button.

When sufficient heat is detected, the detector will sound its alarm horn and the transmitter will send an alarm message to the security system.
