Bunk Top Bunk Base Drawer 20 Bunk Face Drawer Box Forward A/C Unit 47 Sedan Bridge 47 Sedan Bridge Owners Manual 19. Inverter (Optional) 20. Canvas Your 47DB may be equipped with a 120V AC inverter. The inverter provides power to 120V AC outlets throughout the boat and to the microwave oven in the galley. Power to these systems from the shore power connection or generator passes through the inverter. The standard canvas on the 47DB consists of: Aft Curtain Bridge Enclosure Windshield Cover Windshield Shades ! WARNING ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD If vessel is equipped with a DC to AC power inverter, in addition to disconnecting all AC power to the vessel, disconnect inverter DC input before servicing vessel's electrical systems. Canvas not offered on boats with the CE option An optional bridge cover and dash cover are also available. ! DANGER Exhaust fumes from engines contain deadly carbon monoxide gas (CO). Boats enclosed with canvas or with poor ventilation are most likely to collect fumes. CO sickness symptoms include headache, nausea and dizziness. Do not mistake these symptoms for sea sickness. The inverter automatically detects the presence of external AC power and switches between the inverter and charger modes. If AC power is available from the shore power connection or generator, the inverter passes that power to the connected systems as well as to its internal battery charger to recharges its dedicated battery bank. If no AC power is available, or if the power from the shore power or generator are interrupted, the inverter switches to draw power from its dedicated battery bank and to supply power to the connected AC systems. 21. Electrical Schematics The DC power side of the inverter is protected by a battery switch and fuse located under the access hatch in the floor at the bottom of the cabin steps. The AC side of the inverted is protected by a circuit breaker on the MDP. A control panel display unit is also located and the MDP. This control panel display unit provides information on the condition of the inverter/charger and provides the ability to turn the unit ON and OFF. If the inverter/charger is OFF, AC power from the shore power connection or generator will still pass through to the connected AC systems, but the charger will not recharge the batteries. This owner's manual contains electrical schematics and wiring harness illustrations for your boat. These electrical schematics were generated by electrical CAD designers at the engineering division for technical reference and service technicians. Sea Ray® does not recommend that you attempt to work on the boat’s electrical system yourself. Instead, we recommend that you take your boat to your authorized Sea Ray® dealer for service. Sea Ray® reserves the right to change or update the electrical system on any model at any time without notice to the consumer and is NOT obligated to make any updates to units built prior to changes. Ventilate boat. See Section 1.4, Carbon Monoxide, for more details. Do not use the rear (aft) curtain while engine is running or boat is moving. NOTE: WHEN LEAVING THE BOAT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME AND DISCONNECT THE SHORE POWER, THE INVERTER MUST ALSO BE TURNED OFF IN ORDER TO SHUT OFF POWER TO THE CONNECTED AC SYSTEMS.
