Digital Lithium Scale

USER INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: BEFORE USING THE SCALE, REMOVE THE

RED TAB TO ACTIVATE BATTERY OR THE SCALE

WILL NOT OPERATE.

Scale Use

1. Choose pounds (LB) or kilograms (KG) using the selector switch located on the back of the scale.

2. Place the scale on a flat surface. A hard surface is best for maximum accuracy. Placing the scale on a soft, deep pile rug may affect the weighing accuracy.

3. Before each weighing, tap on the lower corner of the scale.

The scale will calibrate and display "- - -", then " either "LB" or "KG".

4. Step on the scale and position your feet in a manner that will distribute your weight evenly over the entire scale platform.

The LCD display will flash "- - -" several times for a few seconds before displaying your weight. Stand still while reading the display.

5. If you remain standing on the scale after your weight has displayed, your weight will continue to display for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

6. If you step off of the scale immediately after your weight has displayed, your weight will continue to display for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

If "

" is displayed, the scale needs to be calibrated or it has exceeded the 350LB (159KG) maximum weight load. To recalibrate the scale repeat Step 3 in Scale Use.

NOTE: It is normal for your weight to vary during a day and from day to another. Slight changes in your weight are generally normal.

Battery

This scale includes two CR2032 long-life 3-volt Lithium battery.

" appears on the digital display, replace the battery.

Battery Replacement

a) Locate the battery cover on the back of the scale. b) Open the compartment by pushing the locking tab and pulling the cover up.

c) Use a flat screwdriver to loosen the batteries and discard them d) Insert a new battery, pressing it firmly into the slot (check orientation). e) Replace the battery cover.

CARE: Periodically wipe scale surface down with a DRY cloth to remove dust.

CAUTION: Weight exceeding the capacity (350LB/159KG) may damage your scale. This scale is designed for personal use only, not commercial/industrial use. This scale is not waterproof; avoid contact with excessive moisture.

Operación de la Báscula

1. Seleccione libras (LB) ó kilogramos (KG) utilizando el interruptor localizado en la parte trasera de la báscula.

2. Coloque la báscula en una superficie plana. Es preferible una superficie firme para obtener una mayor precisión en el peso. Si coloca la báscula en una alfombra suave y profunda, se puede ver afectada la precisión del peso indicado.

3. Cada vez que vaya a pesarse, presione brevemente con el pie la esquina inferior de la báscula, para calibrarla. La pantalla mostrará

0 " con, ya sea, "LB" ó "KG".

4. Párese sobre la báscula y coloque los pies de tal manera que su peso quede distribuido uniformemente sobre toda la plataforma de la báscula. La pantalla titilará "- - -" por unos segundos antes de mostrar su peso. No se mueva durante este proceso.

5. Si permanece sobre la báscula después de que su peso ha sido mostrado, su peso continuará en la pantalla por unos segundos y luego la báscula se apagará automáticamente.

6. Si abandona la báscula inmediatamente después de que su peso ha sido mostrado, su peso continuará en la pantalla por unos segundos antes de apagarse automáticamente.
