User guide

When the time switch is mounted in the controller, voltage cut-in will start charging the battery built into the time switch. The time switch can be set when figures and symbols become visible.

Start the time switch by pressing

“Res.” and then . The time switch will now start at Monday 20.00 with the standard programme: MON-

TUE-WED-THU-FRI, 06.00 to 22.00

and SAT-SUN, 07.00 to 23.00.

Day, time and standard programme can be changed as follows:

Setting the correct day and time

Press at the same time as “h”

(hours), “m” (minutes) and “

Day” to make the setting. Weekdays are numbered 1 - 7, Monday being no. 1.

Setting and changing start and stop times (changing the standard programme)

CH 1 (channel 1) and CH 2 (channel 2) can be set simultaneously or individually. There are 42 memory settings available for both channels. Start and stop times can be in any order.

Please note: A stop time will always override a start time if several block or day programmes overlap or if stop and start times are identical.

Press:

1. “Prog.” until the required memory setting, or a vacant memory setting (- - : - -) is displayed.

2.

1 and 2 to select (start time), (stop time) or

“no symbol” (no programming) for channels 1 and 2 respectively.

3. “h” to set hours and “m” to set minutes.

4. “

Day” to go to the required weekday or “Sel ← ” to select or deselect weekdays.

Combinations (blocks) of several days can be selected at random.

Repeat points 1 - 4 to program the next start or stop time.

Manual override

By pressing 1 or 2 the programme can be overidden to give one of the following functions:

Auto ON - Manuel OFF - FIX ON - FIX OFF or

Auto OFF - Manuel ON - Fix ON - FIX OFF

*) At the next change in the programme, manual override returns to Auto.

Programme check

By repeatedly pressing “Prog.” it is possible to check the programme point by point.

When the display shows “- - : - -” the first vacant memory setting has been reached.

The next press will display the number of free memory settings that can be used.

Example: “Fr 29” (29 points free).

Deletion of programmes a) Deletion of whole programme

Press “Res.” (Reset) to delete all settings, incl. time.

b) Deletion of one memory setting

1. Press “Prog.” until the required memory setting is found.

2. Press “h” or “m” until the display shows “- -” in either hours or minutes.

3. Press “Prog.” or for 3 seconds to delete the selected memory setting (“- -” flashes).

Summertime and wintertime

The time switch has a built-in year time switch that automatically sets the time 1 hour back or forward on the days agreed throughout most of

Europe for the beginning/end of summertime and wintertime. The day, month and year must be set when automatic changeover is required:

Day and month: Press “±1 h” at the same time as “

Day”. The display will now show the date 31:12. The date can be changed by pressing

“h“, the month by pressing “m”.

Year: Press “±1 h” to change the display to year. Press “m” to change the year.

When day, month and year have been set, the programme must be started by pressing .

Note: If the above settings are not made, the time can be set 1 hour forward or back by pressing “±1 h”.
