4-Port USB Hub Troubleshooting Guide

Plug the USB A-plug of the cable into a
USB Extension not plugged into HUB or free USB connection of your computer

Red (PWR) LED indicator does not
illuminate

Plug the Power Supply Unit into a wall
outlet with suitable operating voltage.

voltage plug to the HUB's
corresponging input socket
HUB is not being powered
Check Red (PWR) LED indicator to
make sure it is illuminated
USB A-plug is not connected to a
computer
Plug the USB A-plug of the cable into a
free USB connection of your computer
Device is unable to transfer data
Confirm device can transfer data to
computer
Device is capable of transfering data
HUB not intended for this purpose
*The hub functions in “Bus-Powered-Mode”. This
means that the current of 500mA supplied by the
computer via USB is divided among the four ports.
The total current consumption of all devices
connected at any one time must not be higher than
this value. Alternatively, you can power the USB hub
with the power supply. If the power supply is used,
then each port could be loaded with 500mA.
