Bettis M3 AND M3HW Jackscrew
The Bettis M3 AND M3HW Jackscrews are designed to provide manual override capability for Bettis actuators in the event of a loss of hydraulic or pneumatic power. They are capable of overriding the actuator in either direction, allowing for precise positioning and control. The jackscrew is easy to operate, requiring only a simple clockwise or counterclockwise rotation to engage or disengage. It is also self-locking, ensuring that the actuator will remain in position even if the power is lost.
The M3 AND M3HW Jackscrews are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit a wide range of actuator applications. They are constructed from high-quality materials and are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

1.1 Operating Procedure for M3 Jackscrew
1.1.1 Bleed off and remove all pressure to the actuator. On double-acting actuators, make sure that both ends of cylinder (s) are exhausted and vented to atmosphere.
1.1.2 Apply a generous coating of grease to the M3 threads before operating.
1.1.3 Loosen the M3 locking nut and turn M3 counterclockwise sufficiently to allow for the customers' desired actuator travel (that is, to screw in and override the actuator).
