Care and Maintenance

To help ensure reliable operation, the following care and maintenance guidelines are recommended :

• Avoid exposing the unit to extreme environmental conditions for a prolonged period of time. The unit is IPX4 rated and resistant against water splashes from any direction, but is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water at any depth, or exposed to heavy rain or other strong streams of water.

• Avoid severe impacts on the unit.

• You may clean the unit occasionally with a soft, damp cloth.

• DO NOT expose the unit to strong chemicals such as gasoline and alcohol, as they will damage the unit.

• Store the unit in a dry place when it is not in use.

WARNING

Do not attempt to open the Phantom.

Risk of explosion if battery is replaced with incorrect type.

• Do not attempt to open, disassemble or service the internal battery. The battery must be replaced by a qualified technician.

• Do not crush, puncture or short the battery’s external contacts. Do not expose to temperatures above 140 o F (60 o C).

• Properly recycle or dispose of the battery. Do not dispose in fire or water.

Additional Information

The Global Positioning System (GPS), a network of 32 satellites orbiting Earth, is operated and maintained by the U.S. government. This GPS device requires at least 3 satellites to be acquired to accurately determine your position. Any change made to the system by the government could affect the accuracy and performance of this product.

is the best online resource for all our Golf GPS product owners, including product support, FAQs, etc. It also serves as a portal to access iGolf.com GPS course files to use with these Bushnell products. Registering your Phantom via www.bushnell.igolf.com

is not required, but will ensure you have access to the latest updated GPS course data.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

The rechargeable battery of the Phantom is long lasting and provides up to 16 hrs (3 rounds of golf typically) on a charge. However, battery life may be reduced due to a variety of factors (external temperature, etc). All rechargeable batteries lose their effective charge length over time. At the end of your round, be sure to completely power off your Phantom by pressing and holding the PWR button until the display goes off.

To check your remaining battery life, select “Battery” from the PLAY GOLF menu (pg. 8), or from the SETTINGS menu

(pg. 9) . To recharge the battery, attach the smaller plug on the included USB cable to the port at the bottom side of the unit and connect the large (standard) USB plug to your computer. The Phantom and USB cable are compatible with all USB ports, including iPhone/other smartphone USB chargers. Once connected, press the PWR button-the display will read “CHARGING”. When thePhantom is fully charged (about 4 hrs from totally discharged state, less if partial charge remains) and ready to use, “CHARGING COMPLETED” will be displayed (press PWR to check charge status if not displayed) .

1. SHOT Button: Press at starting point, walk to ball position to fi nd length of shot (shot distance).

*Note: Backlight is activated with any button push. The backlight will remain lit for 10 seconds after last button push. Backlight is disabled in Play

Golf Mode.

GETTING STARTED

1. First, be sure the battery has a full charge. If you are using it for the fi rst time, it should be charged until full (see pg. 4) . Next, make sure you are outdoors, in a location with a clear view of the sky overhead, to ensure good reception of GPS satellite signals. Now, you’re ready to power up and use your Phantom.

2. Press and hold the PWR button on the top side of the unit until it powers on (start screen as shown on right) . Press and hold again to turn off the power.

3. To turn on the backlight after the unit is powered on, briefl y press and release the PWR button. The backlight will turn off automatically after about 10 seconds.

4. The display will show the Main Menu, with a choice of two operating modes: PLAY GOLF or SETTINGS.

USING THE PLAY GOLF MODE

1. Make sure you are outdoors, with an unobstructed view of the sky. Highlight PLAY GOLF and press the SELECT button.

Display will show ”SEARCHING” as the Phantom looks for multiple available GPS satellite signals and locks onto them.

Once locked (note that this can take several minutes the fi rst time you use the Phantom, but will be faster when used in the same general area in the future), you’ll see a list of course names.

2. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select (highlight) the course you want to play from the list of nearby courses (closest course at top of list), then press SELECT .

3. The display then shows: Current hole # (at upper left), Par for the hole (upper right), and distances to the center (large number at top center), front (lower left) and back (lower right) of green.

4. Press SELECT to view distances to up to 4 Hazard callouts per hole, variable depending on the most signifi cant hazards located near a specifi c hole on the current course. Press the SELECT button to cycle between the primary distances screen (Center/Front/Back) and Hazards distances (up to 2 screens). See “ Hazard Glossary ” for a list of all abbreviations used to designate various hazards.

5. Press UP or DOWN buttons to manually advance to the next hole (useful for “shotgun” starts), or go back to the previous hole.

6. Press the SHOT button while at the tee (this is your start “point A”)-as you walk, the display will update to indicate distance from point A to your current location (“point B”). This is useful to measure the length of your shot. Press SHOT again to set a new starting point (“0”).

USING THE GOLF MENU IN PLAY GOLF MODE

1. In PLAY GOLF Mode, press the MENU button to view the GOLF MENU.

2. Select item from menu using UP/DOWN buttons to highlight it, then press SELECT button.

3. If multiple options are available for a setting, use UP/DOWN to highlight your choice, then press select.

4. A solid (filled in) checkbox to the left of a setting indicates the current setting (to change it, highlight a different setting and press

SELECT ).

5. Press MENU button to return to previous menu screen.

GOLF MENU ITEMS

• RESUME: from any screen, returns display to showing current hole and distances based on your current position on the course.

• BATTERY*: press SELECT button to see battery condition (charge %). (*also provided in the SETTINGS Menu)

• SET UNITS*: press SELECT . Solid checkbox indicates current setting (default=YARDS). To change how distances are displayed, highlight

YARDS or METERS, press SELECT . (*also provided in the SETTINGS Menu) .

• CHANGE COURSE: select another golf course from list of nearby courses.

• EXIT ROUND: stops tracking course, ends current game.

USING THE SETTINGS MODE

1. Highlight SETTINGS (if you are in PLAY GOLF mode, press MENU and select EXIT ROUND to go to the main menu) and press SELECT .

2. Select item from menu using UP/DOWN buttons to highlight it, then press SELECT button.

3. If multiple options are available for a setting, use UP/DOWN to highlight your choice, then press SELECT .

4. A solid checkbox to the left of a setting indicates the current setting (to change it, highlight a different setting and press SELECT ).

5. Press MENU button to return to previous menu screen.

SETTINGS MENU ITEMS

• TEE TIMES: Tee Time is a convenience feature that allows you to set up a tee time (golf date) in advance. To set a Tee Time, select TEE

TIMES from the SETTINGS Menu (with TEE TIMES highlighted, press the SELECT button). From the ADD TEE TIME screen, press the

SELECT button, then use the UP/DOWN buttons set the desired hour. Press SELECT and repeat the same process to set minute, AM/PM, month, date and year. After pressing SELECT for the last time, you’ll be back on the TEE TIMES screen, and see that your Tee Time has been entered into the unit’s memory. To edit or delete a Tee Time, press DOWN to highlight it, then press SELECT . You’ll see the date and time you previously set when adding a new Tee Time. Press SELECT . You can then choose to EDIT or DELETE the Tee Time.

When a Tee Time is set, the Phantom will automatically enter Play Golf mode and search for local courses 7 minutes prior to the set time.

Simply select your course from the list, and enjoy your round of golf!

• BATTERY*: press SELECT button to check battery condition (charge %). (*also provided in the PLAY GOLF Menu)

• BLUETOOTH: The Phantom can connect to the BUSHNELL GOLF smartphone app via Bluetooth. Once connected the app can be used configure the Phantom (select menu options) and wirelessly update the Phantom’s internal golf course database. Tee Times may also be set via the app. The BUSHNELL GOLF app can be obtained from the Apple Store and Google Play store for iPhone and Android devices, respectively. Download and install the app on your mobile device. Go to the mobile devices’ settings page to turn on Bluetooth, then launch the BUSHNELL GOLF app. To connect your Phantom to the smartphone app follow the steps below:

1. On your smartphone, make sure you have Bluetooth turned on.

2. On your Phantom, go to the “Main Menu”, enter the SETTINGS menu, then scroll down to BLUETOOTH and press SELECT .

3. Select “ON” to turn Bluetooth on.

4. Your Phantom will then give you a code. Enter that code into the smartphone app when requested.

5. Once paired correctly, your smartphone app will display a confirmation. The device is now paired with your smartphone.

• SET UNITS*: press SELECT . The solid (filled in) checkbox indicates the current setting (default=YARDS). To change how distances are displayed, highlight YARDS or METERS, press SELECT . (*also provided in the PLAY GOLF Menu)

• AUTO OFF: press SELECT . Solid checkbox indicates current setting. Use UP/DOWN buttons and press SELECT to change the setting. DISABLED

(default setting)=unit will stay powered on until user manually powers off by holding PWR button. 1.5 HOUR to 9 HOUR=unit will automatically power off after the selected time period if no buttons have been pressed (or if unit has not auto advanced to next hole as you walk the course).

NOTE: selecting an auto off time such as “8 HOUR” can help avoid running down the battery charge if you forget to power off after a round-but there is the possibility of losing GPS satellite contact, along with all data generated since your start of play if you select a time shorter than it takes to play your round.

• TIME/DATE: press SELECT then highlight and select from these three time/date related settings:

1) SET TIME: press SELECT and highlight a method:

• BY GPS: press SELECT to automatically set the time based on your current GPS location.

• MANUALLY: use the UP/DOWN buttons to enter the correct current time and date yourself.

2) DAYLIGHT: press SELECT and highlight current daylight savings time status for your location:

• DST ON +1

• DST OFF -1

3) FORMAT: press SELECT and highlight your preference for time display format:

• 12 HOUR

• 24 HOUR

• LANGUAGE: The Phantom features 5 menu language settings (ENGLISH, SPANISH, GERMAN, FRENCH, ITALIAN). By default, the user interface is in English. Press SELECT , use UP/DOWN to scroll between options on the Language menu, then press the SELECT button to confi rm and set all menus to your preferred (highlighted) language.

• CONTRAST: press SELECT then use UP/DOWN to select the display contrast level for best viewing quality, from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

Lower contrast can improve screen viewing in bright sun, as can higher contrast settings on cloudy days.

• ABOUT: press SELECT to display your unit’s fi rmware version, FCC ID and IC#.

• RESET DEVICE: to restore the unit to all of its original settings, press SELECT , then select DEFAULT SETTINGS and confi rm you want to do this. The other two options under RESET DEVICE (CHECK UPDATE and REFORMAT) should only be used by qualifi ed service technicians.

ACCESSING UPDATED GOLF COURSE DATA

Your Phantom is pre-loaded with data for over 33,000 courses located worldwide. It is ready to use right out of the box, with no need to download software or pay any membership fees.

But you might be thinking, “What if a new course opens sometime after my unit was made? Is there a way to update the database in my unit to add it?” The answer is yes, and it’s simple to do.

Go to www.bushnellgolf.com and view the product page for any of the diff erent color versions of the Phantom. You’ll fi nd three orange links you can click:

Click this link to go to a form you can fi ll out and email to iGolf to submit a course that is not included in the database, or if you fi nd information (data for a hole) that is not mapped correctly on an existing course.

• Search for Available Courses on Your Bushnell Golf GPS

Click this link to search the current iGolf database to verify a course you are interested in is included.

You can also go to: https://igolf.com and click “Join Now”, fi ll in your contact info on the registration form then select “I Have A GPS Device” to access course updates.

Use the provided USB cable to connect your Phantom to your PC or Mac. Once connected, the screen will display “USB MODE”.

MAGNETIC ACCESSORY w/ BITE TECHNOLOGY (Included)

The Phantom features a powerful BITE magnet incorporated into the rear center of its housing, which allows the device to be securely attached to a golf cart bar or attached to the included bag/belt clip. To use the BITE bag/belt clip, simply slide it onto your golf bag or belt

(round concave part facing out) , then place the convex BITE magnet on the back of the Phantom near the round concave area on the BITE clip (below) .

WARNING: Mounting accessory included with device contains a Neodymium magnet. Magnets could aff ect the functioning of pacemakers and implanted heart defi brillators. If you use these devices, keep suffi cient distance from magnet. Warn other who wear these devices from getting too close to magnets.

• Unsafe handling could cause jamming of fi ngers or skin under magnet.

• Magnet may lose part of its adhesive force permanently if exposed to temperatures above 175 o F (80 o C).

• Magnets produce far-reaching, strong magnetic fi eld. They could damage TVs and laptops, computer hard drives, credit and ATM cards, data storage media, mechanical watches, hearing aids and speakers. Keep unit away from devices and objects that could be damaged by strong magnetic fi elds.

HOW TO FIND THE PRODUCT ID / SERIAL NUMBER

The serial # (Product ID) of yourPhantom can be found on the back of the unit. Write it down below for future reference. You will need it to register on the iGolf site so you can access newly added golf courses or update data for existing courses.

Your Bushnell ® product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the date of purchase. In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided that you return the product postage prepaid. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling, installation, or maintenance provided by someone other than a Bushnell Authorized Service Department.

Entretien et maintenance

Pour assurer un fonctionnement fiable, nous vous recommandons de suivre les directives d'entretien et de maintenance suivantes :

RECHARGE DE LA BATTERIE

PRISE EN MAIN

7. Assurez-vous d’abord que la batterie est entièrement chargée. Si vous utilisez la montre pour la première fois, chargez la batterie entièrement (voir page 4) . Assurez-vous ensuite d’être à l’extérieur, dans un endroit off rant une vue dégagée du ciel, pour assurer une bonne réception des signaux satellites GPS. Vous êtes maintenant prêt

à allumer et utiliser votre Phantom.

8. Appuyez sans relâcher sur le bouton PWR (marche/arrêt) situé sur le côté supérieur de l’unité jusqu’à ce que celle-ci s’allume (écran de démarrage présenté à droite) .

Appuyez sans relâcher à nouveau pour éteindre l’unité.

9. Pour allumer le rétro-éclairage après la mise sous tension de l’unité, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton PWR (marche/arrêt) et relâchez-le. Le rétro-

éclairage s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 10 secondes.

10. L’écran affi che le menu principal, avec un choix entre deux modes de fonctionnement : PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf) ou SETTINGS (paramètres).

UTILISATION DU MODE PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf)

1. Assurez-vous que vous êtes à l’extérieur, dans un endroit off rant une vue dégagée sur le ciel. Sélectionnez PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf) et appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner). L’écran affi che « SEARCHING » (recherche), ce qui signifi e que la Phantom recherche des signaux satellites GPS disponibles et se verrouille sur ces signaux. Une fois le verrouillage eff ectué (l’opération peut prendre plusieurs minutes la première fois que vous utilisez la Phantom, mais par la suite sera plus rapide au même endroit), une liste de noms de terrain s’affi che.

2. Utilisez les boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas) pour sélectionner (mettre en surbrillance) dans la liste des terrains à proximité du terrain sur lequel vous voulez jouer (le terrain le plus proche fi gure en haut de la liste), puis appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner).

3. L’écran affi che alors les détails suivants : n° de trou actuel (en haut à gauche), par du trou (en haut à droite), distances jusqu’au centre (chiff re affi ché en grand en haut au milieu) et avant (en bas à gauche) et arrière (en bas à droite) du green.

4. Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) pour affi cher les distances jusqu’à au maximum 4 légendes de danger par trou, variables en fonction des dangers les plus signifi catifs situés près d’un trou spécifi que sur le terrain actuel. Appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner) pour faire défi ler l’écran des distances principal (Center (centre)/Front (avant)/Back (arrière)) et les distances de danger (jusqu’à 2 écrans). Reportez-vous à la section

« Glossaire des dangers » afi n d’obtenir la liste des abréviations utilisées pour désigner les divers dangers.

5. Appuyez sur les boutons UP (haut) ou DOWN (bas) pour avancer manuellement jusqu’au trou suivant (ceci est utile pour les départs simultanés) ou revenir au trou précédent.

6. Appuyez sur le bouton SHOT (tir) lorsque vous êtes au tee (il s’agit de votre « point A » de départ) – pendant que vous marchez, l’écran se met à jour pour indiquer la distance entre le point A et votre position actuelle (« point B »). Ceci est utile pour mesurer la longueur de votre tir. Appuyez de nouveau sur SHOT (tir) pour défi nir un nouveau point de départ (« 0 »).

UTILISATION DU MENU GOLF EN MODE PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf)

1. Dans le mode PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf), appuyez sur le bouton MENU pour afficher le menu GOLF.

2. Sélectionnez un élément du menu en le mettant en surbrillance à l’aide des boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas), puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner).

3. Si plusieurs options sont disponibles pour un paramètre, mettez votre choix en surbrillance à l’aide des boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas), puis appuyez sur SELECT

4. Une case à cocher pleine à gauche d’un paramètre indique le paramètre actuel (pour le changer, mettez en surbrillance un paramètre différent et appuyez sur SELECT

5. Appuyez sur MENU pour revenir à l’écran de menu précédent.

OPTIONS DU MENU GOLF

• RESUME (reprendre) : Sur n’importe quel écran, change l’affichage pour afficher le trou et les distances actuels en fonction de votre position actuelle sur le terrain.

• BATTERY* (batterie) : Appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner) pour afficher l’état (pourcentage de charge) de la batterie. (*figure également dans le menu SETTINGS

(paramètres)).

• SET UNITS* (définir les unités) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). Une case à cocher pleine indique le paramètre actuel (valeur par défaut : YARDS). Pour changer le mode d’affichage des distances, mettez en surbrillance YARDS ou METERS (mètres), puis appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). (*figure également dans le menu SETTINGS

(paramètres)) .

• CHANGE COURSE (changer de terrain) : Sélectionnez un autre terrain de golf dans la liste des terrains de golf situés à proximité.

• EXIT ROUND (arrêter le tour) : Arrête le suivi du terrain et termine le jeu en cours.

UTILISATION DU MODE SETTINGS (paramètres)

1. Mettez en surbrillance SETTINGS (paramètres) (si vous êtes dans le mode PLAY GOLF (jouer au golf), appuyez sur MENU et sélectionnez EXIT ROUND (arrêter le tour) pour accéder au menu principal) , puis appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner).

2. Sélectionnez un élément du menu en le mettant en surbrillance à l’aide des boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas), puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner).

OPTIONS DU MENU SETTINGS (paramètres)

• TEE TIME (heure de tee) : Tee Time (heure de tee) est une fonction pratique qui vous permet de définir une heure de tee (date de golf) à l’avance. Pour définir une heure de tee, sélectionnez TEE TIME (heure de tee) dans le menu SETTINGS (paramètres) (avec TEE TIME (heure de tee) en surbrillance, appuyez sur le bouton SELECT

(sélectionner)). Sur l’écran ADD (ajouter) TEE TIME (heure de tee), appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner), puis définissez l’heure souhaitée à l’aide des boutons UP/

DOWN (haut/bas). Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) et répétez le même processus pour régler les minutes, AM/PM, le mois, la date et l’année. Lorsque vous appuyez sur

SELECT (sélectionner) pour la dernière fois, l’écran TEE TIME (heure de tee) réapparaît, et vous pouvez constater que votre heure de tee a été entrée dans la mémoire de l’unité. Pour modifier ou supprimer une heure de tee, appuyez sur le bouton DOWN (bas) afin de mettre l’heure en surbrillance, puis appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner).

L’écran affiche la date et l’heure que vous avez précédemment définies lors de l’ajout d’une nouvelle heure de tee. Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). Vous pouvez alors choisir entre modifier (EDIT) ou supprimer (DELETE) l’heure de tee.

Lorsqu’une heure de tee est définie, la Phantom passe automatiquement au mode Play Golf (jouer au golf) et recherche les terrains de golf situés à proximité 7 minutes avant l’heure définie. Sélectionnez simplement votre terrain de golf dans la liste et profitez de votre tour de golf !

• BATTERY* (batterie) : Appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner) pour vérifier l’état (pourcentage de charge) de la batterie. (*figure également dans le menu PLAY GOLF

(jouer au golf)).

• BLUETOOTH : La Phantom peut se connecter à l’application de smartphone BUSHNELL GOLF via le Bluetooth. Une fois la connexion établie, l’application peut être utilisée pour configurer la Phantom (sélectionner des options de menu) et mettre à jour sans fil la base de données de terrain de golf interne de la Phantom. Il est également possible de définir des heures de tee via l’application. L’application BUSHNELL GOLF est disponible sur l’Apple Store et sur Google Play pour iPhone et appareils Android, respectivement.

Téléchargez et installez l’application sur votre appareil mobile. Accédez à la page des paramètres de votre appareil mobile pour activer le Bluetooth, puis lancez l’application

BUSHNELL GOLF. Pour connecter votre Phantom à l’application de smartphone, procédez comme suit :

1. Sur votre smartphone, assurez-vous que le Bluetooth est activé.

2. Sur votre Phantom, accédez au menu principal, ouvrez le menu SETTINGS (paramètres), puis faites défiler l’affichage vers le bas jusqu’à BLUETOOTH et appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner).

3. Sélectionnez « ON » (activé) pour activer le Bluetooth.

4. Votre Phantom vous communique alors un code. Saisissez ce code dans l’application de smartphone lorsque vous y êtes invité.

5. Une fois le couplage correctement effectué, votre application de smartphone affiche une confirmation. L’appareil est désormais associé à votre smartphone.

• SET UNITS* (définir les unités) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). La case à cocher pleine indique le paramètre actuel (valeur par défaut : YARDS ). Pour changer le mode d’affichage des distances, mettez en surbrillance YARDS ou METERS (mètres), puis appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). (*figure également dans le menu PLAY GOLF

(jouer au golf).

• AUTO OFF (désactivé automatiquement) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner). Une case à cocher pleine indique le paramètre actuel. Utilisez les boutons UP/DOWN

(haut/bas) et appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) pour changer le paramètre. DISABLED (désactivé) (paramètre par défaut) : L’unité demeure sous tension jusqu’à ce que l’utilisateur la mette manuellement hors tension en appuyant sans relâcher sur le bouton PWR (marche/arrêt). 1.5 HOUR to 9 HOUR (1,5 à 9 heure(s)) : L’unité se met automatiquement hors tension à la fin de la période sélectionnée si vous n’avez appuyé sur aucun bouton (ou si l’unité n’a pas avancé automatiquement jusqu’au prochain trou pendant que vous marchez sur le terrain).

REMARQUE : Sélectionner une heure d’arrêt automatique telle que « 8 HOUR » (8 heures) permet d’éviter de décharger la batterie si vous oubliez de mettre l’unité hors tension après un tour. Toutefois, si vous sélectionnez une durée inférieure au temps nécessaire pour jouer votre tour, il est possible que vous perdiez le contact satellite GPS, ainsi que toutes les données générées depuis le début du jeu.

• TIME/DATE (heure/date) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner), puis effectuez un choix parmi ces trois paramètres d’heure/de date :

1) SET TIME (définir l’heure) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) et mettez une méthode en surbrillance :

• BY GPS (par GPS) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) pour définir automatiquement l’heure en fonction de votre position GPS actuelle.

• MANUALLY (manuellement) : Utilisez les boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas) pour entrer vous-même l’heure et la date actuelles.

2) DAYLIGHT (heure d’été) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) et mettez en surbrillance le statut d’heure d’été actuel pour votre emplacement :

• DST ON +1 (DST activé + 1)

• DST OFF -1 (DST désactivé -1)

3) FORMAT : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) et mettez en surbrillance le format d’affi chage de l’heure que vous préférez :

• 12 HOUR (12 heures)

• 24 HOUR (24 heures)

• LANGUAGE (langue) : La Phantom propose 5 paramètres de langue (ENGLISH (anglais), SPANISH (espagnol), GERMAN (allemand), FRENCH (français) et ITALIAN

(italien)). Par défaut, l’interface utilisateur est en anglais. Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner), utilisez les boutons UP/DOWN (haut/bas) pour faire défi ler les options du menu Language (langue), puis appuyez sur le bouton SELECT (sélectionner) pour confi rmer et défi nir tous les menus sur votre langue préférée (mise en surbrillance).

• CONTRAST (contraste) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner), puis utilisez les touches UP/DOWN (haut/bas) afi n de sélectionner le niveau de contraste de l’affi chage pour une qualité d’affi chage optimale (de 1 (minimum) à 10 (maximum)). Un contraste plus faible peut améliorer l’affi chage en plein soleil, tout comme un contraste plus élevé peut le faire lorsque le ciel est nuageux.

• ABOUT (à propos de) : Appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner) pour affi cher la version de fi rmware, l’ID FCC et le numéro IC de votre unité.

• RESET DEVICE (réinitialiser l’appareil) : Pour restaurer l’unité sur ses paramètres d’origine, appuyez sur SELECT (sélectionner), puis sélectionnez DEFAULT SETTINGS

(paramètres par défaut) et confi rmez votre choix. Les deux autres options fi gurant sous RESET DEVICE (réinitialiser l’appareil) (CHECK UPDATE (rechercher les mises à jour) et REFORMAT (reformater)) ne doivent être utilisées que par des techniciens de maintenance qualifi és.

ACCÈS AUX DONNÉES DE TERRAIN DE GOLF MISES À JOUR

Votre Phantom est pré-chargée avec des données sur plus de 33 000 terrains de golf situés dans le monde entier. Ces données sont immédiatement prêtes à l’emploi, sans nécessiter de télécharger un logiciel ou de payer des frais d’abonnement.

Mais vous pourriez vous demander : « Et si un nouveau terrain de golf ouvre alors que mon unité a déjà été fabriquée ? » Est-il possible de mettre à jour la base de données de mon unité pour y ajouter ce terrain de golf ? » La réponse est oui, et c’est simple à faire.

ACCESSOIRE MAGNÉTIQUE AVEC TECHNOLOGIE BITE (inclus)

La Phantom comporte un puissant aimant BITE incorporé derrière au milieu du réceptacle, et qui permet de rattacher en toute sécurité l’appareil à un support de voiturette de golf ou de le rattacher au clip de sac/ceinture fourni. Pour utiliser le clip de sac/ceinture BITE , fi xez-le simplement sur votre sac ou ceinture de golf (avec la partie arrondie concave tournée vers l’extérieur) , puis placez l’aimant BITE à l’arrière de la Phantom, proche de la partie arrondie concave du clip BITE (ci-dessous) .

ATTENTION : L’accessoire de montage fourni avec l’appareil contient un aimant en néodyme. Les aimants peuvent aff ecter le fonctionnement des stimulateurs cardiaques et des défi brillateurs cardiaques implantés. Si vous utilisez ces appareils, maintenez une distance suffi sante par rapport à l’aimant. Indiquez aux autres personnes portant ces appareils de ne pas se rapprocher trop près des aimants.

• Une manipulation risquée pourrait provoquer un coincement des doigts ou de la peau sous l’aimant.

• L’aimant peut défi nitivement perdre une partie de sa force d’adhérence s’il est exposé à des températures supérieures à 175 o F (80 o C).

• Les aimants produisent un champ magnétique puissant et de grande portée. Ils peuvent endommager les téléviseurs et les ordinateurs portables, les disques durs d’ordinateurs, les cartes de crédit et de guichet automatique, les supports de stockage de données, les montres mécaniques, les appareils auditifs et les haut-parleurs. Cuidado y mantenimiento

Para ayudar a garantizar un funcionamiento fiable, se recomiendan las siguientes pautas de cuidado y mantenimiento:

• Evite exponer la unidad a condiciones medioambientales extremas durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado. La unidad está calificada IPX4 y es resistente a las salpicaduras de agua desde cualquier dirección, pero no es completamente resistente al agua y no debería sumergirse a ninguna profundidad, ni quedar expuesta a lluvia abundante ni a otras grandes cantidades de agua.

• Evite impactos fuertes en la unidad.

CARGA DE LA BATERÍA

La batería recargable del Phantom es duradera y proporciona hasta 16 horas de funcionamiento (normalmente 3 recorridos de golf) con una sola carga. Sin embargo, la duración de la batería se puede ver reducida debido a diversos factores (temperatura externa, etc).

Todas las baterías recargables pierden su duración de carga efectiva con el paso del tiempo. Al final del recorrido, asegúrese de apagar por completo el Phantom, presionando y manteniendo presionado el botón PWR hasta que la pantalla se apague.

PRIMEROS PASOS

1. En primer lugar, asegúrese de que la batería tenga carga completa. Si lo está utilizando por primera vez, se debe cargar hasta alcanzar la carga completa (véase la página 4) . A continuación, asegúrese de estar al aire libre, en una ubicación con vista clara del cielo por la parte superior, para asegurar una buena recepción de las señales de los satélites GPS. Ahora, ya puede encender y usar su Phantom.

2. Presione y mantenga presionado el botón PWR de la parte superior de la unidad hasta que se encienda (pantalla de inicio como se muestra a la derecha) .

Presione y mantenga presionado otra vez para apagar.

3. Para encender la luz de fondo después de encender la unidad, presione brevemente y suelte el botón PWR . La luz de fondo se apagará automáticamente después de aproximadamente 10 segundos.

4. La pantalla mostrará el menú principal, con una posibilidad de dos modos de funcionamiento: JUGAR AL GOLF o AJUSTES.

USO DEL MODO JUGAR AL GOLF

1. Asegúrese de estar al aire libre, con una vista despejada del cielo. Realce JUGAR AL GOLF y presione el botón SELECCIONAR .

La pantalla indicará ”BUSCANDO” mientras el Phantom busca diversas señales de satélites GPS y se engancha a ellas.

Una vez enganchado (tenga en cuenta que esto puede llevar varios minutos la primera vez que use el Phantom, pero será más rápido cuando lo utilice en el futuro más o menos en la misma zona), verá una lista de campos.

2. Utilice los botones ARRIBA/ABAJO para seleccionar (resaltar) el campo en el que quiera jugar de entre la lista de campos cercanos (el más cercano vendrá al principio de la lista), y luego presione SELECCIONAR .

3. La pantalla mostrará entonces: nº de hoyo actual (arriba a la izquierda), par del hoyo (arriba a la derecha) y distancias al centro

(número grande en la parte superior central), a la parte delantera (inferior izquierda) y a la posterior (inferior derecha) del green.

4. Presione SELECCIONAR para ver las distancias a hasta 4 rótulos de obstáculos por hoyo, variables según los obstáculos más signifi cativos ubicados cerca de un hoyo específi co del campo actual. Presione el botón SELECCIONAR para alternar entre la pantalla de distancias principales (centro/ frente/posterior) y las distancias de los obstáculos (hasta 2 pantallas). Consulte

“ Glosario de obstáculos ” para ver una lista de todas las abreviaturas usadas para designar los diversos obstáculos.

5. Presione los botones ARRIBA o ABAJO para avanzar manualmente al siguiente hoyo (útil para inicios de partidas en

“hoyos diferentes”), o vuelva al hoyo anterior.

6. Presione el botón GOLPE mientras está en el punto de salida (este es su “punto A” de inicio); mientras vaya caminando, la pantalla se actualizará para indicar la distancia desde el punto A hasta su ubicación actual (“punto B”). Esto es útil para medir el alcance del golpe. Presione otra vez GOLPE para establecer un nuevo punto de inicio (“0”).

USO DEL MENÚ GOLF EN EL MODO DE JUGAR AL GOLF

1. En el modo JUGAR AL GOLF, presione el botón MENÚ para ver el MENÚ GOLF.

• CAMBIO DE CAMPO: seleccione otro campo de golf en la lista de campos cercanos.

• SALIR DEL RECORRIDO : deja de seguir el campo y finaliza la partida actual.

• HORAS DE COMIENZO: Horas de comienzo es una función conveniente para definir una hora de comienzo (fecha para jugar al golf) por adelantado.

Para definir una hora de comienzo, seleccione HORAS DE COMIENZO en el menú AJUSTES (con HORAS DE COMIENZO resaltado, presione el botón

SELECCIONAR ). Desde la pantalla AÑADIR HORA DE COMIENZO presione el botón SELECCIONAR y después use los botones ARRIBA/ABAJO para definir la hora deseada. Presione SELECCIONAR y repita el mismo proceso para definir los minutos, a.m./p.m., mes, fecha y año. Después de presionar SELECCIONAR por última vez, volverá a la pantalla HORAS DE COMIENZO Y podrá ver cómo su hora de comienzo ha quedado almacenada en la memoria de la unidad.

Para editar o borrar una hora de comienzo, presione ABAJO para resaltarlo y después presione SELECCIONAR . Verá la fecha y hora que definió previamente al agregar una nueva hora de comienzo. Presione SELECCIONAR . A continuación, puede elegir EDITAR o BORRAR la hora de comienzo.

Cuando se define una hora de comienzo, el Phantom entra automáticamente en el modo Jugar al golf y busca los campos locales 7 minutos antes de la hora definida. Simplemente, seleccione su campo en la lista y disfrute de su partida de golf.

• BATERÍA*: presione el botón SELECCIONAR para comprobar el estado de la batería (% de carga). (*también aparece en el menú JUGAR AL GOLF )

• BLUETOOTH : El Phantom se puede conectar a la aplicación para teléfonos inteligentes BUSHNELL GOLF a través de Bluetooth. Una vez conectada, la aplicación se puede usar para configurar el Phantom (seleccione las opciones del menú) y actualice de forma inalámbrica la base de datos interna de campos de golf del Phantom. Las horas de comienzo también se pueden configurar a través de la aplicación. La aplicación BUSHNELL GOLF se puede descargar de la Apple Store y de la tienda Google Play para dispositivos iPhone y Android, respectivamente. Descargue e instala la aplicación en su dispositivo móvil. Vaya a la página de ajustes del dispositivo móvil para activar el Bluetooth y después inicie la aplicación BUSHNELL GOLF. Para conectar el Phantom a la aplicación del teléfono inteligente, siga los pasos que vienen a continuación:

1. En el teléfono inteligente, asegúrese de que el Bluetooth esté encendido.

2. En su Phantom, vaya al “Menú principal”, entre en el menú AJUSTES y después desplácese hacia abajo hasta BLUETOOTH y presione SELECCIONAR .

3. Seleccione “ON” para activar Bluetooth.

4. Ahora, el teléfono le facilitará un código. Introduzca dicho código en la aplicación del teléfono inteligente cuando se le solicite.

5. Una vez correctamente vinculados, la aplicación del teléfono inteligente mostrará una confirmación. Ahora, el dispositivo ya está emparejado con su smartphone.

• DEFINIR UNIDADES*: presione SELECCIONAR . La casilla de verificación de color homogéneo (rellena) indica el ajuste actual

(por defecto = YARDAS). Para cambiar la forma en que se muestran las distancias, resalte YARDAS o METROS, y presione SELECCIONAR .

• APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO: presione SELECCIONAR . La casilla de verificación de color homogéneo indica la configuración actual.

Utilice los botones ARRIBA/ABAJO y presione SELECCIONAR para cambiar el ajuste. INHABILITADO (ajuste predeterminado) = la unidad permanecerá encendida hasta que el usuario la apague manualmente manteniendo presionado el botón PWR . 1,5 HORAS

a 9 HORAS = la unidad se apagará automáticamente después del período de tiempo seleccionado si no se ha presionado ningún botón

(o si la unidad no ha pasado automáticamente al hoyo siguiente conforme camina por el campo).

NOTA: seleccionar un tiempo de apagado automático como “8 HORAS” puede ayudar a evitar la descarga de la batería si se olvida de apagar después de una partida, pero existe la posibilidad de perder el contacto de los satélites GPS, junto con todos los datos generados desde el inicio de la partida, si selecciona un tiempo más corto del necesario para jugar la partida.

• HORA/FECHA : presione SELECCIONAR y, a continuación, resalte y seleccione entre estos tres ajustes relacionados con la hora/fecha:

1) FIJAR LA HORA: presione SELECCIONAR y resalte un método:

• POR GPS: presione SELECCIONAR para ajustar automáticamente la hora en función de su ubicación actual GPS.

• MANUALMENTE: utilice los botones ARRIBA/ABAJO para introducir por sí mismo la hora y la fecha actuales correctas.

2) LUZ DIURNA: presione SELECCIONAR y resalte el estado actual del horario de verano para su ubicación:

• DST ON +1

• DST OFF -1

3) FORMATO : presione SELECCIONAR y resalte su preferencia de formato de visualización de la hora:

• 12 HORAS

• 24 HORAS

• IDIOMA: El Phantom incorpora 5 confi guraciones de idioma de menús (INGLÉS, ESPAÑOL, ALEMÁN, FRANCÉS E ITALIANO). Por defecto, la interfaz de usuario es en inglés. Presione SELECCIONAR , utilice ARRIBA/ABAJO para desplazarse por las opciones del menú Idioma y después presione el botón SELECCIONAR para confi rmar y confi gurar todos los menús a su idioma preferido (resaltado).

• CONTRASTE: presione SELECCIONAR y después use ARRIBA/ABAJO para seleccionar el nivel de contraste de la pantalla para una mejor calidad de visualización, de 1 (más bajo) a 10 (más alto). Un contraste más bajo puede mejorar la visualización de la pantalla con sol brillante, al igual que los contrastes elevados pueden hacerlo en los días nublados.

• ACERCA DE: presione SELECCIONAR para mostrar la versión de fi rmware de su unidad, el ID de FCC y el n.º de IC.

• REINICIAR DISPOSITIVO: para restablecer la unidad a todos sus ajustes originales, presione SELECCIONAR , luego seleccione AJUSTES

PREDETERMINADOS y confi rme que quiere hacerlo. Las otras dos opciones de REINICIAR DISPOSITIVO (COMPROBAR ACTUALIZACIONES y REFORMATEAR) solo deben usarlas los técnicos de servicio cualifi cados.

ACCESO A LOS DATOS ACTUALIZADOS DE CAMPOS DE GOLF

Su Phantom está precargado con datos de más de 33.000 campos de todo el mundo. Está listo para usar desde el primer momento, sin necesidad de descargar software ni pagar ninguna cuota de abono.

Pero quizás piense: “¿Qué sucede si se abre un nuevo campo algún tiempo después de fabricarse mi unidad? ¿Hay alguna manera de actualizar la base de datos de mi unidad para agregarlo?” La respuesta es sí, y es fácil de hacer.

ACCESORIO MAGNÉTICO con TECNOLOGÍA BITE (incluido)

The Phantom incorpora un potente imán BITE en la parte posterior central de su carcasa, lo que permite que el dispositivo se una de forma segura a una barra de un carrito de golf o al clip de bolso/cinturón incluido. Beachten Sie folgende Empfehlungen für Pflege und Wartung, um einen zuverlässigen Betrieb zu gewährleisten:

• Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals über einen längeren Zeitraum extremen Bedingungen aus. Das Gerät ist IPX4-zertifiziert und von allen Seiten spritzwassergeschützt, aber nicht gänzlich wasserdicht. Es sollte nicht unter Wasser gleich welcher Tiefe getaucht oder Starkregen und anderen starken Wasserströmen ausgesetzt werden.

• Vermeiden Sie heftige Stoßbelastung des Geräts.

• Sie können das Gerät von Zeit zu Zeit mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen.

AKKU AUFLADEN

ERSTE SCHRITTE

VERWENDUNG DES „GOLF SPIELEN”-MODUS

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie im Freien sind und ungehinderten Blick auf den Himmel haben. Markieren Sie GOLF SPIELEN und drücken Sie die AUSWÄHLEN -Taste. Auf dem Display steht „SUCHE”, da der Phantom nach mehreren verfügbaren

MENÜPUNKTE IN DEN EINSTELLUNGEN

Cura e manutenzione

Per garantire un funzionamento sicuro, si consiglia di attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni per la cura e la manutenzione:

• Evitare di esporre l'unità a condizioni ambientali estreme per periodi prolungati. L'unità dispone di classifica IPX4 ed è resistente agli spruzzi d'acqua da qualsiasi direzione, ma non è completamente impermeabile e non deve essere immersa in acqua a qualsiasi profondità, né esposta a piogge pesanti o ad altri forti flussi d'acqua.

• Evitare di sottoporre l'unità a forti urti.

• È possibile pulire l'unità di tanto in tanto con un panno morbido inumidito.

• NON esporre l'unità a sostanze chimiche aggressive, come benzina e alcol, poiché la danneggerebbero.

• Conservare l'unità in un luogo asciutto quando non in uso.

AVVERTENZA

Non tentare di aprire il Phantom.

C'è il rischio di esplosione nel caso in cui la batteria venga sostituita con un modello non corretto.

• Non tentare di aprire, smontare o riparare la batteria interna. La batteria deve essere sostituita da un tecnico qualificato.

• Non schiacciare, forare o cortocircuitare i contatti esterni della batteria. Non esporre a temperature al di sopra di 140°F (60°C).

• Smaltire o riciclare la batteria secondo le modalità previste. Non smaltire in acqua o fuoco.

RICARICA DELLA BATTERIA

La batteria ricaricabile del Phantom è a lunga durata e garantisce fino a 16 ore (normalmente la durata di 3 partite di golf) per una ricarica. Tuttavia, diversi fattori (temperatura esterna e così via) possono influire sulla vita utile della batteria. In tutte le batterie ricaricabili la durata effettiva della carica si riduce nel tempo. Alla fine della partita, assicurarsi di scollegare completamente il Phantom premendo e tenendo premuto il tasto PWR finché

il display non si spegne.

Per controllare la durata della batteria rimanente, selezionare “Batteria” dal menu PLAY GOLF (pag. 8), o dal menu

IMPOSTAZIONI (pag. 9) . Per ricaricare la batteria, attaccare la spina più piccola al cavo USB incluso alla porta sul lato inferiore dell'unità e connettere la spina USB grande (standard) al computer. II Phantom e il cavo USB sono compatibili con tutte le porte USB, inclusi i caricatori USB per iPhone o altri smartphone. Una volta connesso, premere il pulsante PWR il display mostrerà la scritta “IN CARICA”. Quando il Phantom è completamente ricaricato (circa

4 ore se è totalmente scarico, meno se è parzialmente carico) e pronto all'uso verrà visualizzata la scritta, “RICARICA

COMPLETATA” (premere PWR per controllare lo stato se non viene visualizzato) .

1. Pulsante TIRO: Premere al punto di inizio, camminare fi no alla posizione della palla per trovare la lunghezza del tiro (distanza di tiro).

2. Pulsante MENU: consente di visualizzare le opzioni / voci del menu.

3. Pulsante ( ▲ ) SU: consente di scorrere verso l’alto le voci del menu.

4. Pulsante ( ◄ ) SELEZIONA: consente di selezionare la voce del menu evidenziata.

5. Pulsante ( ▼ ) GIÙ: consente di scorrere verso il basso le voci del menu.

6. Pulsante PWR : premere e tenere premuto (1,5 secondi) per accendere/spegnere.

7. Porta USB : connette il cavo in dotazione al caricatore del PC o dello smartphone per la ricarica.

*Nota: la retroilluminazione si attiva premendo qualsiasi pulsante. LA retroilluminazione viene mantenuta per 10 secondi dopo avere premuto il pulsante per l’ultima volta. In modalità Play Golf la retroilluminazione viene disattivata.

PER INIZIARE

8. In primo luogo, assicurarsi che la batteria sia completamente ricaricata. In caso di primo utilizzo, dovrebbe essere completamente ricaricata (vedere pag. 4) . Quindi assicurarsi di essere all’aperto e di avere una visuale sgombra del cielo sovrastante, per garantire una buona ricezione dei segnali dai satelliti GPS. Ora Phantom è pronto per essere acceso e utilizzato.

9. Premere e tenere premuto il pulsante PWR sul lato superiore dell’unità fi nché non si accende (schermata iniziale illustrata a destra) .

Premere e tenere premuto di nuovo per spegnere l’alimentazione.

10. Per attivare la retroilluminazione dopo aver acceso l’unità, premere e rilasciare rapidamente il pulsante PWR .

La retroilluminazione si disattiva automaticamente dopo circa 10 secondi.

11. Il display mostrerà il menu principale, con la scelta di due modalità di funzionamento: PLAY GOLF o IMPOSTAZIONI.

UTILIZZO DELLA MODALITÀ PLAY GOLF

1. Assicurarsi di essere all’esterno, con una visuale sgombra del cielo. Evidenziare PLAY GOLF e premere il pulsante

SELEZIONA . Il display mostrerà la scritta “CERCA” mentre Phantom cerca più segnali dai satelliti GPS disponibili e si aggancia ad essi. Una volta agganciato (notare che questo può richiedere diversi minuti la prima volta che si utilizza

Phantom, ma diventerà più veloce in futuro se usato nella stessa zona), sarà visualizzata una lista di nomi di campo.

2. Usare i tasti SU/GIÙ per selezionare (evidenziare) il campo in cui si desidera giocare dalla lista dei campi vicini (il campo più vicino è il primo) quindi premere SELEZIONA .

3. Il display mostrerà quindi: n. buca corrente (in alto a sinistra), par della buca (in alto a sinistra), e distanze al centro

(numero grande in alto al centro), anteriori (in basso a sinistra) e posteriori (in basso al destra) del verde.

4. Premere SELEZIONA per visualizzare le distanze da fi no a 4 avvisi di ostacolo per buca, variabili a seconda degli ostacoli più rilevanti situati vicino a una specifi ca buca del campo attuale. Premere il pulsante SELEZIONA per alternare la schermata delle distanze principali (centrali/anteriori/posteriori) e le distanze degli ostacoli (fi no a 2 schermate).

Vedere “ Glossario degli ostacoli ” per una lista di tutte le abbreviazioni usate per designare i vari ostacoli.

5. Press UP o GIÙ per passare manualmente alla buca successiva (utile per le partenze “shotgun”), o tornare alla buca precedente.

6. Premere il pulsante TIRO stando sul tee (questo è il punto di inizio “punto A”) e camminando il display di aggiornerà per indicare la distanza dal punto A alla posizione attuale (“punto B”). Questa funzione è utile per misurare la lunghezza del tiro. Premere TIRO di nuovo per impostare un nuovo punto di partenza (“0”).

UTILIZZO DEL MENU GOLF IN MODALITÀ PLAY GOLF

1. In modalità PLAY GOLF premere il pulsante MENU per visualizzare il MENU GOLF.

2. Selezionare le voci dal menu usando i tasti SU/GIÙ per evidenziarle, quindi premere il pulsante SELEZIONA .

3. Se per un’impostazione sono disponibili più opzioni, usare SU/GIÙ per evidenziare l’opzione scelta, quindi premere seleziona.

4. Una casella piena (compilata) sulla sinistra di un’impostazione indica l’impostazione attuale (per modificarla evidenziare un’impostazione diversa e premere SELEZIONA ).

5. Premere il tasto MENU per tornare indietro alla schermata del menu precedente.

VOCI DEL MENU GOLF

• RIPRENDI: da qualsiasi schermata ritorna al display per visualizzare la buca e le distanze attuali in base alla posizione corrente sul campo.

• BATTERIA*: premere il pulsante SELEZIONA per visualizzare lo stato della batteria (% di carica). (*disponibile anche nel menu

IMPOSTAZIONI )

• IMPOSTA UNITÀ*: premere SELEZIONA . Una casella piena indica lo stato attuale (predefinito=IARDE). Per cambiare la modalità di visualizzazione delle distanze, evidenziare IARDE o METRI, premere SELEZIONA . (*disponibile anche nel menu IMPOSTAZIONI ) .

• CAMBIA CAMPO: seleziona un altro campo da golf dalla lista dei campi nelle vicinanze.

• ABBANDONA PARTITA: smette di tracciare il parco, abbandona la partita corrente.

UTILIZZO DELLA MODALITÀ IMPOSTAZIONI

1. Evidenziare IMPOSTAZIONI (dalla modalità PLAY GOLF premere MENU e selezionare ABBANDONA PARTITA per tornare al menu principale) e premere SELEZIONA .

2. Selezionare le voci dal menu usando i tasti SU/GIÙ per evidenziarle, quindi premere il pulsante SELEZIONA .

3. Se per un’impostazione sono disponibili più opzioni, usare SU/GIÙ per evidenziare l’opzione scelta, quindi premere SELEZIONA .

4. Una casella piena sulla sinistra di un’impostazione indica l’impostazione attuale (per modificarla evidenziare un’impostazione diversa e premere SELEZIONA ).

5. Premere il tasto MENU per tornare indietro alla schermata del menu precedente.

VOCI DEL MENU IMPOSTAZIONI

• TEE TIME: Tee time è un comodo sistema che consente di impostare un tea time (data del golf) in anticipo. Per impostare un tee time, selezionare TEE TIME dal menu IMPOSTAZIONI (with TEE TIME evidenziato, premere il tasto SELEZIONA ). Dalla schermata AGGIUNGI

TEE TIME premere il pulsante SELEZIONA quindi usare i tasti SU/GIÙ per impostare l’orario desiderato. Premere SELEZIONA e ripetere la stessa procedura per impostare minuti, AM/PM, mese, giorno e anno. Dopo aver premuto SELEZIONA per l’ultima volta, ritornando alla schermata TEE TIME è possibile vedere che il tee time è stato inserito nella memoria dell’unità. Per modificare o eliminare un tee time, premere GIÙ per evidenziarlo, quindi premere SELEZIONA . Saranno visualizzate la data e l’ora precedentemente impostate aggiungendo un nuovo tee time. Premere SELEZIONA . È possibile scegliere di MODIFICARE o ELIMINARE il tee time.

Quando viene impostato un tee time, il Phantom inserirà automaticamente la modalità Play Golf e cercherà campi locali 7 minuti prima del tempo impostato. È sufficiente selezionare il campo desiderato dalla lista e poi godersi la partita!

• BATTERIA*: premere il pulsante SELEZIONA per controllare lo stato della batteria (% di carica). (*disponibile anche nel menu PLAY GOLF )

• BLUETOOTH: il Phantom può connettersi all’app BUSHNELL GOLF dello smartphone tramite Bluetooth. Una volta connessa, l’app può essere usata per configurare il Phantom (selezionare le opzioni del menu) e aggiornare via wireless il database delle partite di golf interno del

Phantom. Anche tee time può essere impostato tramite l’app. È possibile ottenere l’applicazione BUSHNELL GOLF dall’Apple Store e dal Google

Play Store rispettivamente per i dispositivi iPhone e Android. Scaricare e installare l’applicazione sul dispositivo mobile. Accedere alla pagina delle impostazioni dei dispositivi mobili per attivare il Bluetooth, quindi avviare l’applicazione BUSHNELL GOLF.

Procedere come segue per connettere il Phantom all’applicazione per smartphone:

1. Assicurarsi che Bluetooth sia attivato sullo smartphone.

2. Sul Phantom, andare al “Menu Principale”, entrare nel menu IMPOSTAZIONI quindi scorrere verso il basso fino a BLUETOOTH e premere SELEZIONA .

3. Selezionare “ON” per attivare il Bluetooth.

4. Il Phantom fornirà quindi un codice. Inserire il codice nell’applicazione per smartphone quando richiesto.

5. Se l’accoppiamento viene eseguito correttamente, l’applicazione per smartphone visualizzerà una conferma. Il dispositivo è ora accoppiato con lo smartphone.

• IMPOSTA UNITÀ*: premere SELEZIONA . La casella piena (compilata) indica lo stato attuale (predefinito=IARDE). Per cambiare la modalità di visualizzazione delle distanze, evidenziare IARDE o METRI, premere SELEZIONA . (*disponibile anche nel menu PLAY GOLF )

• AUTO OFF: premere SELEZIONA . Una casella piena indica l’impostazione attuale. Utilizza i pulsanti UP/DOWN e premere SELEZIONA per cambiare le impostazioni. DISABILITATO (impostazione predefinita)=l’unità resterà accesa finché non verrà spenta manualmente dall’utente tenendo premuto il tasto PWR . 1,5 ORE a 9 ORE=l’unità si spegnerà automaticamente dopo il periodo di tempo selezionato se non è stato premuto alcuno pulsante (o se l’unità non è avanzata automaticamente alla buca successiva durante lo spostamento sul campo). NOTA: selezionando un tempo di spegnimento come ad esempio “8 ORE” può essere utile ad evitare di esaurire la carica della batteria, se ci si dimentica di spegnere dopo una partita, ma c’è la possibilità di perdere il contatto con i satelliti GPS, perdendo tutti i dati generati dall’inizio del gioco, se si seleziona un tempo più breve di quello necessario per giocare la partita.

• DATA/ORA: premere SELEZIONA quindi evidenziare e selezionare tra queste tre impostazioni relative a data/ora:

1) IMPOSTA ORA: premere SELEZIONA ed evidenziare un metodo:

• DA GPS: premere SELEZIONA per impostare automaticamente l’ora secondo la posizione GPS attuale.

• MANUALE: usare i tasti SU/GIÙ per inserire manualmente l’ora e la data attuali.

2) GIORNO: premere SELEZIONA ed evidenziare lo stato dell’ora legale attuale per la propria posizione:

• DST ON +1

• DST OFF -1

3) FORMATO: premere SELEZIONA ed evidenziare la scelta per il formato di visualizzazione dell’ora:

• 12 ORE

• 24 ORE

• LINGUA: Il Phantom possiede 5 impostazioni di lingua del menu (INGLESE, SPAGNOLO, TEDESCO, FRANCESE, ITALIANO). Per impostazione predefi nita, l’interfaccia utente è in inglese. Premere SELEZIONA , utilizzare SU/GIÙ per scorrere le opzioni nel menu lingue, quindi premere il pulsante SELEZIONA per confermare e impostare tutti i menu nella lingua preferita (evidenziata) .

• CONTRASTO: premere SELEZIONA quindi usare SU/GIÙ per selezionare il livello di contrasto del display per un migliore qualità visiva da

1 (minimo) a 10 (massimo). Il contrasto più basso può migliorare la qualità della visualizzazione sullo schermo, così come impostare un contrasto più alto è utile nelle giornate nuvolose.

• INFORMAZIONI: premere SELEZIONA per visualizzare la versione del fi rmware, FCC ID e IC# dell’unità.

• RIPRISTINA DISPOSITIVO: per ripristinare tutte le impostazioni iniziali dell’unità, premere SELEZIONA , quindi selezionare IMPOSTAZIONI

PREDEFINITE e confermare l’azione. Le altre due opzioni sotto RIPRISTINA DISPOSITIVO (CONTROLLA AGGIORNAMENTI E RIFORMATTA) dovrebbero essere usate solo da tecnici d’assistenza qualifi cati.

ACCESSO AI DATI AGGIORNATI DEL CAMPO DA GOLF

Il Phantom è precaricato con più di 30.000 campi situati in tutto il mondo. È pronto per ‘uso appena fuori dalla scatola senza dover scaricare software o pagare una quota d’iscrizione.

Ci si potrebbe chiedere: “Ma che succede se prima o poi apre un nuovo campo dopo che è stata creata la mia unità? C’è un modo per aggiornare il database nella mia unità per aggiungerlo?” La risposta è sì, e farlo è semplice.

ACCESSORI MAGNETICI w/TECNOLOGIA BITE (Inclusi)

Il Phantom è dotato di un potente magnete BITE incorporato nella parte centrale posteriore dell’alloggiamento che consente di attaccare con sicurezza il dispositivo alla maniglia di un carrello da golf o alla clip della borsa/cintura in dotazione. Per utilizzare la clip della borsa/ cintura BITE farla semplicemente scorrere sulla borsa o cintura (parte concava verso l’esterno) , quindi posizionare il magnete BITE convesso nella parte posteriore del Phantom vicino alla parte concava sulla clip BITE (sotto) .

AVVERTENZA: Il supporto incluso con il dispositivo contiene un magnete di neodimio. I magneti possono compromettere l’uso di pacemaker e defi brillatori impiantati. Chi usa questi dispositivi deve tenersi a distanza suffi ciente dal magnete. Avvertire le altre persone che portano questi dispositivi di non avvicinarsi troppo ai magneti.

• Maneggiare con cautela per non incastrare le dita o la pelle sotto il magnete.

• Il magnete può perdere parte della sua forza adesiva permanente se esposto a temperature superiori a 175°F (80 ° C).

• I magneti producono campi magnetici forti e a largo raggio. Possono danneggiare Tv e portatili, dischi rigidi dei computer, bancomat e carte di credito, dispositivi di memorizzazione dati, orologi meccanici, apparecchi acustici e altoparlanti. Tenere l’unità lontana da dispositivi e oggetti che possono essere danneggiati da campi magnetici forti.

COME TROVARE L’ID / NUMERO DI SERIE DEL PRODOTTO

Il numero di serie (ID prodotto) del Phantom si trova sul retro dell’unità. Prenderne nota per referenze future. Sarà necessario registrarlo sul sito di iGolf per accedere ai campi da golf aggiunti di recente o aggiornare i dati dei campi da golf esistenti.
