A quiet running AC motor with a two-step pulley drives the platter‘s outside edge via a belt. The resonanceoptimised MDF platter runs on a low-tolerance stainless-steel axle with Teflon bearing plate in a sintered bronze bearing housing. The transparent acrylic plinth stands on three heightadjustable TPE-damped aluminium cones. An external power supply avoids potential electro-mechanical interference. The sophisticated 9“ tonearm uses an one-piece aluminium headshell & armtube and an inverted bearing design with four hardened ABEC7 spec ballraces.
