GETTING STARTED

When you first receive your new electronic safe you will need to open the door with the key in order to install the batteries. Batteries are included and are located inside the safe.

To open the door with the key, first remove the lock cover from the front of the faceplate using a thin bladed flathead screwdriver as shown. Insert the key and turn counterclockwise. Hold the key in the open position and turn the knob to the right to open the door.

Record the serial number from the tag on the back of the safe or the tag on the inside of the lock cover plate on the front of the safe.

Record your combination number.

Keep keys and combination in a secure place away from children.

NOTE: This key has also been provided in case you lose or forget your security code or the batteries run low. If you lose your key, you may purchase a replacement key by referencing the serial number located under the removable lock cover. See section at the end of this instruction regarding replacement keys.

Locate the batteries inside the safe. Open the battery compartment on the back of the door by pushing the tab in the direction of the arrow and install the batteries.

NOTE: The reset button located on the inside of the door, is covered with a removable cap.

When you use the reset button while setting your own combination, remove the cap to access the button. Use a pen tip to push the reset button.

Replace the cap securely over the reset button after setting your combination. Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE

To enter your own security code you will need to follow the steps listed below:

1. After installing the batteries, locate the reset button on the back of the door.

2. Press the reset button with a pen and then release it, you will hear a beep.

DO NOT SHUT THE

DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT

YOUR NEW SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN

ENTERED CORRECTLY.

3. With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3-8 digits long, and confirm your new code by pressing the .... key on the electronic touch pad. You will have 3 seconds to press the .... key otherwise you will have to start over from step one. There will be 2 beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash twice if your code has been entered successfully.

Before you close the door, enter the new security code and press the .... key to make sure the lock releases the knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts.

If the code fails, go through steps 1-3 again. If the code works successfully, then you should lock the safe.

When you open the safe in the future enter the security code you have set followed by the .... key and turn the knob.

If an incorrect security code is entered 3 times the safe will beep 5 times (if the sound is turned on) and the red light will flash 5 times resulting in the safe being automatically locked out for 60 seconds before you can try your code again. The safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash once when the lockout period is over.

If an incorrect security code is entered 1 additional time the safe will beep 5 times (if the sound is turned on) and the red light will flash 5 times resulting in the safe being automatically locked out for 5 minutes before the code can be tried again. The safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash once when the lockout period is over.

Write your new combination on this form or store your combination on our secure website at www.stack-on.com under Service. If you write down your combination you must keep this information in a secure place, away from children, not inside the safe.

LOCKING THE SAFE

To lock the safe, close the door and turn the knob to the left to the 12:00 position.

NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: Because the locking mechanism is deactivated for approximately 3 to 6 seconds after the combination is entered, wait a minimum of 6 seconds from the time the combination is entered to lock the safe. Also, when locking the safe, always make sure the knob is turned completely to the left to the 12:00 position. If the knob is not turned to the 12:00 position during the locking process, the locking mechanism will not lock.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

NOTE: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries.

This safe uses 4 - AA batteries. Under normal use, batteries will last about 1 year.

NOTE: If the batteries are low, the yellow light will flash when you start to enter your code.

To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment on the back of the door by pushing the tab in the direction of the arrow and install all new batteries.

SELECTING A LOCATION

This safe must be mounted into a drawer

(PDS-1500) or into a drawer or the wall

(PDS-1505). For optimal safety and security, the safe should be installed in an isolated, dry and secure area.

THE SAFE SHOULD ALWAYS BE KEPT

OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

SECURING THE SAFE

NOTE: This safe must be mounted into a drawer

(PDS-1500) or into a drawer or the wall

(PDS-1505). Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

TURNING THE KEYPAD SOUND

OFF/ON

Your safe comes with the "Beep" sound turned on.

You can turn off the "Beep" sound of the keypad by pressing the ... key.

To turn the "Beep" sound on, press the .... key again.

DRAWER MOUNTING

Select an appropriate sized drawer for your safe.

Place the safe in the drawer and try opening and closing the safe and drawer. Do not attempt to close the drawer with the safe open.

Place the safe in the desired drawer and mark the mounting holes with a pencil. Remove the safe and drill the pilot holes for the screws. Replace the safe in the drawer and insert the screws through the mounting holes and drawer bottom. For maximum security, use 2 mounting screws. Secure the screw by tightening the Nylock nut on the screws.

WALL MOUNTING

(for model PDS-1505 only)

The hardware used may vary depending on the type of wall and spacing of wall supports. The safe must be fastened to the wall stud in two locations on one side and to the wall using the wall anchors and the 1” long fasteners on the other side.

The safe must be mounted flush to the wall. It is important that the safe is securely fastened to the wall and wall stud, as described above. These units are heavy and could cause serious injury if the unit falls from any height off the ground.

NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: When the safe is mounted to a wall, it needs to be in an upright position, as shown in figure 3, for the locking mechanism to function properly. Failure to mount the safe in the correct upright position will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

TIP: A securely fastened cleat (A) mounted level and at the appropriate height will aid in mounting the safe.

NOTE: The safe must be secured to the wall stud on one side of the safe in the top and bottom holes in the back of the safe so that it is anchored to the wall stud in two locations. The wall anchors and the 1” long fasteners should be used on the other side. Mark the location of the mounting hole on the wall and screw the anchor into the drywall until the head of the anchor is flush with the wall. Use the 1” long screw to attach the safe to the drywall anchors. (Figure 2)

MAINTENANCE

If the door of the safe starts to rub on the door frame, open the door per the instructions above.

By the door hinges you will find a threaded stem.

Use an Allen Wrench to tighten the threaded stem.

This will realign the door.

Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) Steel Safes are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase by a consumer. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only.

If you believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Steel Safe during the three-year warranty period, please contact our customer service department, by regular mail or email at the address listed below, and include with your correspondence proof of purchase information and the model number of the safe.

POUR COMMENCER

Lorsque vous recevrez votre nouveau coffre à serrure électronique, vous devrez ouvrir la porte avec la clé afin d'installer les piles. Les piles sont incluses et sont situés à l'intérieur du coffre-fort.

Pour ouvrir la porte avec la clé, retirez d'abord le couvercle de la serrure à l'avant de la façade à l'aide d'un tournevis à tête plate mince lame comme indiqué. Insérez la clé et tournez dans le sens antihoraire. Maintenez la clé en position ouverte et tournez le bouton vers la droite pour ouvrir la porte.

Verrouiller le couvercle

La combinaison électronique de l'armoire :

Noter le numéro de série de l'étiquette derrière le coffre ou de l'étiquette à l'intérieur de la plaque du foncet au devant du coffre

Noter la combinaison.

NOTE: Cette clé a également été fourni au cas où vous perdez ou oubliez votre code de sécurité ou les piles sont faibles. Si vous perdez votre clé, vous pouvez acheter une clé de remplacement en référençant le numéro de série situé sous le couvercle de la serrure amovible. Voir la section à la fin de cette instruction concernant les clés de remplacement.

Repérez les piles à l'intérieur du coffre. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles à l'arrière de la porte en poussant la patte dans le sens indiqué par la flèche et installez les piles.

REMARQUE: Le bouton de remise à zéro situé à l'intérieur de la porte, est recouvert d'un capuchon amovible. Lorsque vous utilisez le bouton de réinitialisation tout en établissant votre propre combinaison, enlever le bouchon pour accéder au bouton. Utiliser un embout de stylo pour appuyer sur le bouton de réinitialisation.

Remettez le bouchon en toute sécurité sur le bouton de réinitialisation après avoir réglé votre combinaison. Ne pas le faire risque de compromettre la sécurité du coffre-fort.

ENTRER VOTRE CODE DE SÉCURITÉ

Suivez les étapes suivantes pour entrer votre propre code de sécurité :

1. Après avoir installé les piles, localisez le bouton de réinitialisation à l'arrière de la porte.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton de réinitialisation avec un stylo puis relâchez-le, vous entendrez un bip. NE

ÊTRE ASSURÉ QUE VOTRE NOUVEAU CODE

DE SÉCURITÉ A ÉTÉ ENTRÉ

CORRECTEMENT.

3. Avec la porte ouverte, entrez votre propre code de sécurité personnelle, qui peut être 3-8 chiffres et confirmer votre nouveau code en appuyant sur la touche .... sur le pavé tactile électronique. Vous aurez 3 secondes pour appuyer sur la touche .... sinon vous devrez recommencer depuis la première

étape. Il y aura 2 bips (si le son est activé) et la lumière verte clignote deux fois si votre code a été entré avec succès. Avant de fermer la porte, entrez le nouveau code de sécurité et appuyez sur la touche

.... pour faire en sorte que le verrou lâche le bouton de sorte que vous pouvez tourner et retirer les boulons de blocage de l'action en direct.

Si le code ne fonctionne pas, répétez les étapes 1 à 3.

Si le code permet d'ouvrir la porte, vous serez en mesure de verrouiller le coffre.

Lorsque vous ouvrez le coffre-fort à l'avenir entrer le code de sécurité que vous avez défini suivi de la touche .... et tourner le bouton.

Si un code de sécurité incorrect est entré 3 fois le coffre émettra 5 bips sonores (si le son est activé) et la lumière rouge clignote 5 fois en résultent dans le coffre étant automatiquement verrouillé pendant 60 secondes avant que vous pouvez essayer de nouveau votre code. Le coffre-fort émet un bip (si le son est activé) et la lumière verte clignote une fois lorsque la période de lock-out est terminé.

Si un code de sécurité incorrect est entré 1 fois supplémentaires le coffre émettra 5 bips sonores (si le son est activé) et la lumière rouge clignote 5 fois résultant dans le coffre étant automatiquement verrouillé pendant 5 minutes avant que le code peut

être jugé à nouveau . Le coffre-fort émet un bip (si le son est activé) et la lumière verte clignote une fois lorsque la période de lock-out est terminé.

Écrivez votre nouvelle combinaison sur ce formulaire ou de ranger votre combinaison sur notre site sécurisé à www.stack-on.com sous Service. Si vous

écrivez votre combinaison, vous devez conserver ces informations dans un endroit sûr, loin des enfants, pas l'intérieur du coffre.

BLOCAGE DE LA SÉCURITÉ

Pour verrouiller le coffre-fort, fermez la porte et tournez le bouton vers la gauche à la position 12:00.

NOTE SUR LE BLOCAGE SÉCURITAIRE:

Parce que le mécanisme de verrouillage est désactivé pendant environ 3 à 6 secondes après le regroupement est entré, attendre un minimum de 6 secondes à partir du moment où l'association est entré pour verrouiller le coffre-fort. En outre, lors du verrouillage du coffre-fort, toujours s'assurer que le bouton est tourné complètement vers la gauche à la position

12:00. Si le bouton n'est pas allumé à la position

12:00 pendant le processus de verrouillage, le mécanisme de verrouillage ne se verrouille pas.

REMPLACEMENT DES PILES

NOTA : Ne mélangez pas les vieilles piles et les piles neuves. Ne mélangez pas les piles alcalines, standard ou rechargeables.

Ce coffre fonctionne avec quatre piles AA. Dans des conditions d'utilisation normales, les piles dureront environ un an.

REMARQUE: Si les piles sont faibles, la lumière jaune clignote lorsque vous commencez à saisir votre code.

Pour remplacer les piles, ouvrez le compartiment des piles à l'arrière de la porte en poussant la patte dans le sens de la flèche. Remplacez toutes les piles.

CHOIX DE L'EMPLACEMENT

Ce coffre-fort doit être monté dans un tiroir

(PDS-1500) ou dans un tiroir ou le mur

(PDS-1505). Pour plus de sécurité et une sécurité optimale, la sécurité doit être installé dans un endroit isolé, sec et sécuritaire.

LA SÉCURITÉ DOIT TOUJOURS ÊTRE

HORS DE PORTÉE DES ENFANTS.

ASSURER LA SÉCURITÉ

NOTE: Ce coffre-fort doit être fixé à un tiroir ou un mur (PDS-1505 seulement). Ne pas le faire risque de compromettre la sécurité et la sûreté du coffre-fort.

ACTIVATION/DÉSACTIVATION DU

SIGNAL SONORE DU CLAVIER

Votre coffre-fort est livré avec le son «bip» allumé.

Vous pouvez désactiver le «bip» du clavier en appuyant sur la touche ... .

Pour activer le «bip» sur, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche ... .

INSTALLATION DANS UN TIROIR

Sélectionnez un tiroir de taille appropriée pour votre sécurité. Placez le coffre-fort dans le tiroir et essayer d'ouvrir et de fermer le coffre-fort et un tiroir. Ne tentez pas de fermer le tiroir avec le coffre ouvert.

Placez le coffre-fort dans la cassette souhaitée et marquez les trous de montage avec un crayon.

Retirez le coffre-fort et percer les trous pour les vis.

Remplacer le coffre-fort dans le tiroir et insérer les vis dans les trous de montage et le fond du tiroir.

Pour une sécurité maximale, utilisez 2 vis de fixation. Serrez la vis de serrage de l'écrou Nylock sur les vis. (Figure 1)

MONTAGE SUR UN MUR

(pour le modèle PDS-1505 seulement)

Le matériel utilisé peut varier en fonction du type de mur et de l'espacement des supports muraux. Le coffre-fort doit être fixé au poteau mural à deux endroits d'un côté et au mur en utilisant les chevilles et les 1 "longues attaches de l'autre côté.

Le coffre-fort doit être monté au ras du mur. Il est important que la sécurité est solidement fixé au poteau mural et le mur, comme décrit ci-dessus. Ces unités sont lourds et peuvent causer des blessures graves si l'appareil tombe, de n'importe quelle hauteur du sol.

CONSEIL: Un taquet fixé solidement (A) monté de niveau et à la hauteur appropriée aidera à monter le coffre-fort.

REMARQUE: Le coffre-fort doit être fixé au poteau mural d'un côté et le mur en utilisant les chevilles et les 1 "attaches longues de l'autre côté.

Marquez l'emplacement du trou de montage sur le mur et vissez l'ancrage dans la cloison sèche jusqu'à la tête de l'ancre est au ras du mur.

Utilisez le 1 "longue vis pour fixer le coffre aux ancrages pour cloisons sèches.

NOTE SUR LA FERMETURE DU COFFRE:

Lorsque la sécurité est monté sur un mur, il doit

être en position verticale, comme le montre la figure 3, le mécanisme de verrouillage pour fonctionner correctement. Défaut de monter le coffre-fort dans la position verticale correcte compromettre la sûreté et la sécurité du coffre-fort.

ENTRETIEN

Outils nécessaires: tournevis cruciforme

Si la porte du coffre frotte sur le cadre, ouvrez la porte selon les directives plus haut.

Près des charnières de la porte se trouve une tige filetée. Resserrez la tige à l'aide d'une clé Allen.

Cela permettra de réaligner la porte.

PARA COMENZAR

Cuando reciba su caja fuerte electrónica tendrá que abrirla con la llave para poder instalar las pilas. Las baterías están incluidas y se encuentran dentro de la caja fuerte.

Para abrir la puerta con la llave, primero quitar la tapa de la cerradura de la parte delantera de la placa frontal con un destornillador de cabeza plana de hoja delgada tal como se muestra. Inserte la llave y gírela en sentido antihorario. Mantenga la llave en la posición abierta y gire la perilla hacia la derecha para abrir la puerta.

PROGRAMACIÓN DE SU NÚMERO

DE SEGURIDAD

Para programar su propio código de seguridad será necesario que siga los siguientes pasos:

1. Después de instalar las baterías, localice el botón de reinicio en la parte posterior de la puerta.

Usted tendrá 3 segundos para pulsar la tecla de .... de lo contrario tendrá que empezar de nuevo desde el paso uno. Habrá 2 pitidos (si el sonido está encendido) y la luz verde parpadea dos veces si el código se ha introducido correctamente. Antes de cerrar la puerta, introduzca el nuevo código de seguridad y presione la tecla .... para asegurarse de que los abrepuertas de la perilla para que puedas darle vuelta y retraer los pernos de bloqueo de acción en vivo.

Si falla el código, repita los pasos 1 - 3 nuevamente. Si funciona correctamente, deberá cerrar la caja fuerte.

Si se introduce un código de seguridad incorrecto 3 veces el seguro sonará 5 veces (si el sonido está encendido) y la luz roja parpadea 5 veces resulta en la caja de seguridad está bloqueada automáticamente durante 60 segundos antes de poder probar su código de nuevo. La caja fuerte sonará una vez (si el sonido está encendido) y la luz verde parpadea una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha terminado.

BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO

REEMPLAZO DE LAS PILAS

NOTA: No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas. No mezcle pilas alcalinas, pilas estándar o recargables.

Este seguro utiliza 4 - pilas AA. En condiciones de uso normal, las pilas duran aproximadamente 1 año.

NOTA: Si las baterías están bajas, la luz amarilla parpadea cuando se empieza a introducir el código.

Para reemplazar las pilas, abra el compartimiento de las pilas, ubicado en la parte de atrás de la puerta, oprimiendo la pestaña en el sentido indicado por la flecha e instale las pilas nuevas.

SELECCIÓN DE LA UBICACIÓN

ACTIVACIÓN DEL PITIDO

Su seguro viene con el sonido "Beep" encendido.

Puede desactivar el "Beep" sonido del teclado pulsando la tecla ... .

Para activar el "Beep" el sonido encendido, pulse la tecla .... otra vez.

INSTALACIÓN DEL CAJÓN

Seleccione un cajón de tamaño adecuado para su caja fuerte. Coloque la caja fuerte en el cajón y tratar de abrir y cerrar la caja fuerte y el cajón. No intente cerrar el cajón con la caja abierta.

Coloque la caja fuerte en el cajón deseado y marque los orificios de montaje con un lápiz. Retire la caja fuerte y taladre los agujeros para los tornillos. Vuelva a colocar la caja fuerte en el cajón e inserte los tornillos a través de los agujeros de montaje y el fondo del cajón. Para mayor seguridad, utilice 2 tornillos de montaje. Asegure el tornillo de apriete de la tuerca Nylock de los tornillos. (Figura 1)

MONTAJE EN LA PARED

(para el modelo PDS-1505 sólo)

El hardware utilizado puede variar en función del tipo de pared y espaciamiento de los soportes de pared. El seguro debe fijarse al poste de la pared en dos lugares en un lado y en la pared utilizando los anclajes de pared y los sujetadores de 1 "de largo por el otro lado.

La caja fuerte debe estar montado al ras de la pared.

Es importante que la caja fuerte está bien conectado a la viga de la pared y la pared, como se describió anteriormente. Estas unidades son pesadas y pueden causar lesiones graves si la unidad se cae desde cualquier altura sobre el suelo.

CONSEJO: Un listón bien sujeto (A) montado al ras y con la altura adecuada ayudará en el montaje de la caja fuerte.
