Position the device in such a way that the plug is easily accessible for quick
disconnecting when required.
- 24 -
Connection
DANGER! Electric shock hazard!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation!
Before installation and connecting the local power grid specification should
be compared with that of the device (see rating plate). Connect the device only
in case of compliance!
Connect the device only to properly installed single socket with
protective terminal.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
5.2 Operation
•
Before first use, clean the device according to the instructions in 6 „Cleaning“.
•
Prior to first use, wash by hand the polishing head cloths in warm water with a neutral
cleaning agent. Rinse them thoroughly in clean water and dry at room temperature.
Installing the polishing head cloths
•
Place the polishing head cloths on the heads. Remember to place the interior glass
polishing head cloth on the middle head, and the larger ones place on any of the
remaining 4 heads.
Polishing glasses
CAUTION!
Only polish clean glasses.
Only wash glasses at temperatures below 70 °C!
•
Connect the unit to a grounded single socket.
•
To turn the unit on, put the ON / OFF switch in the position marked „I“. To turn the

•
•
Before using, let the unit heat up for approx. 15 minutes.
Glasses must be wet for them to be polished.
- 25 -
•
The microfibre cloths absorb moisture in a few seconds, which is why the cloths are
dried by having hot air blown on them. This keeps the polishing head cloths
constantly dry.
WARNING! Risk of injury!
To avoid injury, do not bring your hands near the hot air exhaust.
•
Take a wet and washed glass and proceed as follows:
Glasses with bases should have the bases dried first. Hold the bottom
of the glass against a polishing cloth.
Turn the glass and move the glass base between the polishing heads, turning
it vertically back and forth to ensure the entire base is dried and polished.
At the end, place the glass on one of the polishing cloth heads; the interior
of the glass and its base are dried immediately. The exterior is dried by
contact with the other four polishing heads.
•
Turn the unit off using the ON / OFF switch and remove the plug if the unit is not
to be used any longer.
CAUTION!
To avoid overheating, turn the unit off after 2 hours of work
and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
