CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM
„TWIST”
This child restraint system
is designed and manufactured
in compliance with the requirements of Regulation 44 of the United Nations
Economic Commission for Europe concerning the safe transportation of children, the provisions of the Product safety Directive 2001/95/EU of the European Parliament and The Council as well as the Consumer Protection Law of
Bulgarian Legislation.
NOTICE
for semi-universal child restraint, groups 0+ and I
1. This is an ISOFIX CHILD RESTRAINT. It is approved to Regulation No 44, 04 series of amend
ments, for general use in vehicles fitted with ISOFIX anchorages systems.
2. It will fit vehicles with positions approved as ISOFIX positions (as detailed in the vehicle
handbook), depending on the category of the child seat and of the fixture.
3. The mass group and the ISOFIX size class for which this device is intended is GROUP 0+
(0-13 kg), ISOFIX class D и GROUP I (9-18kg), ISOFIX class D.

This child restraint is suitable for use in vehicles,
equipped with approved LAP/3-POINT/STATIC/
WITH RETRACTOR SAFETY BELTS in compliance with ECE R16.
IMPORTANT!
This car seat may be installed in the following
wheel:
• For groups 0 + and I using the ISOFIX attachment
• For groups I, II, III using the ISOFIX attachment

 CAUTION! THE CAR SEAT SAFETY MUST BE PROPERLY ADJUSTED ACCORDING TO CHILD’S
HEIGHT, NOT TWISTED AND SNUG WELL AGAINST BABY’S BODY.
 CAUTION! THIS CHILD RESTRAINT SHOULD NOT BE MODIFIED OR ADAPTED WITH NEW
FITTINGS, WITHOUT PREVIOUS AUTHORIZATION BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY.
 CAUTION! KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE!
 Installation in the vehicle and securing the child in the car seat to be done only by adult!
 The hard parts and the parts of the child restraint made of plastic should be located and installed
so that when the vehicle is in normal use, they can not be trapped by a sliding seat or in a door of
the vehicle.
 Do not allow the safety belts of the car seat and the vehicle to be twisted, frayed or torn, latches and
locks (buckles) must be always in good order and firmly fixed.
 If you find uncertainty or defect in the structure, latches, straps or locking mechanisms of the car
seat or ISOFIX attachments , discontinue usage until removal of the damaged parts and
replacement with new ones.
 After a violent impact the car seat and belts may be damaged. therefore, it is recommended to
replace the car seat with new one.
 Never use a second hand child restraint. it may have suffered structural damage, which may make
the child restraint extremely dangerous.
 Do not use this car seat without its seat cover and do not replace it with a new one, unless supplied
by the manufacturer. The fabric parts are integral parts of the restraint system and its safety
features!
 Always make sure that you are not carrying any unsecured objects, especially on the back shelf,
which, in case of an accident, may injure the car’s occupants
 Do not put additional pads except the ones supplied from the manufacturer! Placing additional pads
may obscure the safety of your child.
 Do not use spare parts and other components not supplied by the manufacturer. The manufacturer
assumes no responsibility for safety in the event that are used spare parts other than original.
 It is recommended to cover the car seat if the vehicle is parked under strong sun shine – extreme
sun exposure will make the plastic to deteriorate and the fabric to fade. Please, check that the child
restraint has not become too hot before placing your child seat.
 The child car seat does not replace the child's cot or bed. When a child needs a sleep, you have to
place him in a suitable baby stroller, baby crib or bed.
 Do not attach objects with long cords or strings on the car seat in order to avoid danger of
suffocation!
 Never place a child seat on beds, couches or similar soft surfaces!
 Do not allow children to play with the product!
 Do not remove stickers and warnings – they contain important information!
 The packaging of the product must be kept out of the reach of children at the time of and after
unpacking in order to avoid the risk of strangulation!

PRODUCT FEATURES
 Child restraint restraint while traveling in a vehicle designed for children weighing from
0 to 36 kg, classified in weight groups:
• 0+ (0-13 kg): semi-universal integral ISOFIX child restraint, ISOFIX class D. The restraint system
is installed in direction opposite to the direction of the vehicle and the child is "rearward facing";
• I (9-18kg): semi-universal integral ISOFIX child restraint, ISOFIX class D . The restraint system is
installed in direction opposite to the direction of the vehicle and the child is "rearward facing" or in
the direction of the vehicle and the child is “facing forward”;
• II (15-25kg): semi-universal non-integral system for securing children. The restraint system is
installed in the direction of the vehicle and the child is “facing forward”;
• III (22-36kg): semi-universal non-integral system for securing children. The restraint system is
installed in the direction of the vehicle and the child is “facing forward”;
 ISOFIX attachments to vehicle (for groups 0+ and I);
 Installation for groups I, II and III with 3-point safety vehicle belt + ISOFIX attachment;
 Top tether (only for groups 0+ and I, “REARWARD FACING“ car seat);
 The restraint rotates 3600 on the base;
 Backrest recline;
 Head rest height adjustment;
 5-point safety harness on the restraint;

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
•
IMPORTANT!
• Follow exactly the instructions and sequence of installation steps and use of the product de
scribed in the text and figures of this manual.
• Check the security of fixing after each operation!
• ALWAYS CHECK THE SECURITY OF FIXING OF THE SAFETY BELTS!
• After each installation make sure that the seat belts are not twisted and are in the correct position
1 – CORRECT SHOULDER STRAPS HEIGHT
IMPORTANT! The height of the shoulder harnesses can be adjusted in 3 positions to match the height
of the child.
2 – SECURING HE CHILD WITH THE 5-POINT SAFETY HARNESS
Note: Make sure that the harness is fastened by pulling the shoulder straps up.
To unfasten the harness, press the button on the central buckle and split the belts.
3 – TIGHTENING AND LOOSENING THE HARNESS
3-1 - Loosening
Note: Pull out the shoulder straps, not the soft pads!
3-2 – Tightening
4 –ADJUSTING THE RECLINE OF THE CAR SEAT
Backrest can recline in 5 positions:
• In position „Rearward facing” when used for groups 0+ and I, when the car seat is installed facing
the back of the car and the child is “rearward facing ” ;
• Positions 1, 2, 3 and 4 are used for group I, when the car seat is installed facing the front of the car
and the child is “forward facing ” ;
• Position 1 is used for groups II and III, when the car seat is installed facing the front of the car and
the child is “forward facing ”.
Release the safety harness. Pull the incline position handle and move the backrest in desired position.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the car seat is fixed in the desired recline position!
5 - 360° ROTATION/CHANGE OF CAR SEAT DIRECTION
The seat of this car seat can rotate 360°.
5-1 – Change of direction
5-2 – Fixing in desired direction.
Release the rotation button when you reach the desired direction until you hear a click.
CAUTION! Make sure the car seat is securely fixed in the desired direction by shaking it in the opposite
direction! (5.3)
CAUTION! DO NOT DRIVE IF THE CAR SEAT IS NOT FIXED IN A „FORWARD FACING” OR „REARWARD FACING” POSITION.
6 – REMOVING THE SAFETY HARNESS (shoulder straps, soft pads, crotch strap and its soft pad,
central buckle ).
6-1 – Put the car seat in recline position 4. Release the safety harness;
6-2 – Remove the shoulder straps from the back side;
6-3 – Pull out the shoulder straps through the shoulder straps slots from the font side of car seat. Pull
out the soft pads and store them under the headrest fabric cover.
6-4 – Removing the waist strap;
6-5 – Removing the crotch strap and buckle.
6-6 and 6-7 - Put the seat in position 1 and pull the harness adjuster strap.
The car seat is without the 5-point harness and can be used for children with weight from 15 up to 36
kg (groups II and III).
7- SHOULDER STRAPS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Pull the headrest adjustment handle and at the same time move the headrest up or down until you reach
the desired straps height. When you release the handle you must hear click.
8 – HEADREST ADJUSTMENT
The headrest may be adjusted in 8 positions.

the desired straps height. When you release the handle you must hear click.

INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT
9. INSTALLATION OF CAR SEAT IN POSITION „REARWARD FACING” WITH ISOFIX AND TOP
TETHER FOR GROUPS 0+ AND I (age from 0 up to 4 years)
Note: Check if the vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX anchorage points and device to attach the top tether.
9-1 – Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a „FORWARD FACING” position. Press the buttons to
release the ISOFIX attachments. The attachments are ready for installation, and the ISOFIX indicators
must show „red color”.
9-2 – Press the ISOFIX attachments to the vehicle seat anchorage points until you hear a click. ISOFIX
indicators must show „green color”, and the car seat must be firmly pressed against the vehicle seat.
9-3 - CAUTION! After the installation check if the car seat is securely fitted. If the car seat is not stable
and is shaking, repeat the installation.
9-4 – Rotate the seat until it is „REARWARD FACING” (SEE point 5 - 360° ROTATION/CHANGE OF
CAR SEAT DIRECTION) and adjust the recline angle (SEE point 4 – ADJUSTING THE RECLINE OF
THE CAR SEAT).
9-5 – Slide the top tether belt around the headrest. Pull the top tether and adjust its length.
9-6 – Attach the hook of the top tether in one of the three points in the vehicle (A, B or С).
Note: The top tether attach points are located in the trunk or the floor of the vehicle.
9-7 – IMPORTANT! Tighten the top tether belt until the indicator shows „green color”. If the indicator
on the top tether does not show green color, repeat the process.
CAUTION! After the installation check if the car seat is securely fitted.
9-8 – Place the child in the car seat. Check the shoulder straps height. Straps must be well fitted and
not twisted!
To take the child out of the car seat, repeat the actions in reverse order.
10. INSTALLATION OF CAR SEAT IN POSITION „FORWARD FACING”
WITH ISOFIX AND THE 3-POINT VEHICLE BELT FOR GROUP I (9 - 18 KG)
Note: Check if the vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX anchorage points and device to attach the top tether.
10-1 – Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a „FORWARD FACING” position. Press the buttons to
release the ISOFIX attachments. The attachments are ready for installation, and the ISOFIX indicators
must show „red color”.
10-2 – Press the ISOFIX attachments to the vehicle seat anchorage points until you hear a click.
10-3 – ISOFIX indicators must show „green color”, and the car seat must be firmly pressed against the
vehicle seat.
CAUTION! After the installation check if the car seat is securely fitted. If the car seat is not stable and
is shaking, repeat the installation.
10-4 – Place the child in the car seat. Check the shoulder straps height. Straps must be well fitted and
not twisted!
10-5 – Pull the vehicle belt. Thread it through the car seat slots to the vehicle belt buckle as shown.
10-6 – Insert the 3-point vehicle belt in the buckle until you hear a click.
Pull the vehicle belt to make sure that it is fastened in the buckle.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that the vehicle belts are well fitted and car seat I securely installed.

WARNING! Make sure the vehicle belt is not twisted and loose!
To take the child out of the car seat, repeat the actions in reverse order.
11 INSTALLATION OF CAR SEAT IN POSITION „FORWARD FACING” WITH ISOFIX AND THE
3-POINT VEHICLE BELT FOR GROUPS II and III and age 3 up to 12 years (15 - 36 KG)
11-1 Remove the safety harness (see point 6 – REMOVING THE SAFETY HARNESS).
11-2 – Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a „FORWARD FACING” position. Press the buttons to
release the ISOFIX attachments. The attachments are ready for installation, and the ISOFIX indicators
must show „red color”.
11-3 – Press the ISOFIX attachments to the vehicle seat anchorage points until you hear a click.
11-4 – ISOFIX indicators must show „green color”, and the car seat must be firmly pressed against the
vehicle seat.
CAUTION! After the installation check if the car seat is securely fitted. If the car seat is not stable and
is shaking, repeat the installation.
11-5 – Place the child in the car seat. Adjust the headrest position if necessary. Pass the diagonal vehicle belt through the guide under the head rest and the lap belt thought the two guides on both sides
of the seat.
11-6 – Insert the 3-point vehicle belt in the buckle until you hear a click.
Pull the vehicle belt to make sure that it is fastened in the buckle.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that the vehicle belts are well fitted and car seat I securely installed.
WARNING! Make sure the vehicle belt is not twisted and loose!
To take the child out of the car seat, repeat the actions in reverse order.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
 Clean the fabrics, plastic parts and metal parts with damp cotton cloth or sponge and mild soap
Upholstery may be hand washed at 30̊С using mild detergent!
 Do not bleach! Do not tumble dry! Do not machine wash! Do not iron!
 Do not use abrasive, bleach or other aggressive detergents.
 Always after cleaning leave the car seat fully dry and after that use it or store it.
 Harnesses must be cleaned with damp cloth and mild soap!
 Do not wet or remove the stickers. They contain important information!
 Always store your car seat indoors – on dry and clean place. Do not expose to direct environment
influence - sun, rain, moisture and high temperature intervals.
 Please, contact your authorized dealer for problems connected with the use or repair.
